Blaze has some of Jon's best vocals, Santa Fe may be his finest ever. I love both records but as far as listening to the record as a whole, I go for Blaze more often. But Stranger is a beauty of a record also. Father Time, The Answer and Ballad Of Youth are worth the price of the album alone.

I love the Eyes albums with JSS but I seem to recall reading in one of the copies of Classic Rock Presents AOR that he said that was one of the bands that he really wasn't into and it was more for the paycheck. Baton Rouge, love all three records.

I think if you want to spend the money on it and have someone that would really appreciate it then it is a really great idea IF you get someone that will actually personalize a message. I wouldn't pay a single dime to have anyone simply read from a pre-scripted message and just insert a particular name in. But some of the prices are pretty steep and ridiculous. $195 USD for Debbie Gibson?? $399 U

The 20th anniversary of this album just passed in March and I have been revisiting it lately. It did not impress me much when it released and while it is not as good as the follow-up, On The Way To Everything, it stil has some really fantastic adult contemporary songs on it with Willingly, Warm Summer Rain, Ohio and I'd Die For You being the standouts for me and Larry King's voice is just super

Warrant had a song called Crawl Space on their Ultraphobic album. Both Grand Funk Railroad and Alan Parsons had songs titled Inside Looking Out. Perhaps any of these? Edit. Sorry, just noticed the 90s reference so scratch those last two but Dokken had a song titled that.

The problem with politics here in the US, as with religion as well, is that very few people seem to be able to have a sensible, calm, rational conversation about it. People turn into whinny children when it comes up and utterly refuse to try and have a decent conversation about it, turning it heated very quickly. It as like if you don't agree 100 percent with what they believe then you are the en

My immediate family is healthy and safe so far, though I know some who are not so blessed in that area, but some very difficult times that we are trying to make our way through. Work shut down some weeks back, got a gig doing some carpentry work which I have a past with but that fell off due to no new construction happening really and have been dealing with financial difficulties, losing a home a

Sorry to hear it has been a slow year in music for you, no one enjoys that here I doubt. But I have to side with others on here and say it has been pretty great for me so far with Dynazty, H.E.A.T., One Desire, Khymera, Richard Marx, Jessica Wolff, Dirty Shirley and Black Swan among a few others. Still remains doubtful if the rest of the year will render much music with so much being delayed.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I am all too familiar with the pain of losing a parent and I can't imagine not being able to make it to the service. Music played, and really continues to play, a major roll in me coming to terms with things and healing. I shall raise a glass in his honor tonight. My thoughts are with you and your family.

With this pandemic sweeping the world and many being all but confined to their homes, facing unemployment and unsure of their futures, we are all in need of some uplifting. Why not post one song that never fails to brighten your day when you hear it. One that, no matter what you are going through, gives you a few moments of reprieve from everything and perhaps brings a smile to your face and make

Thanks to a fellow board member and good friend for sharing this one with me some months ago. I will readily admit that I am no fan of his voice, it can be rather cringe worthy at times, or his music generally, but for anyone who has lost a father or just enjoys an emotional ballad, this one by James Blunt is not only a heartbreaking song but the video itself is rather heartbreaking. I've known Jeremy personally since his second album and breakout record Stay released in 2002. Musically I liked his stuff in the earlier years better when he was more rock oriented. He has since shifted towards more radio friendly tunes and a lot of I guess what could be called praise and worship style music but with a bit more of a rock edge at times. I like some of his stuff but definitely not
