I was really looking forward to this release but it didn't blow me away...Doug's guitar work is always strong and exceptional but the songs didn't grab me. Also like others mentioned the production could of been a little more powerful and punchy and a lot of the songs could be from any other Frontiers release that Del Vecchio worked on...they need to let these artist work with other producers. Like Sammy's solo stuff more...Roth's weren't bad but I think they were carried by the musicianship of guys like Vai and Sheehan with a wow factor musically that Sammy couldn't match but Sammy's had better songs. I like both eras of Van Halen but wished Ted Templeman produced the Hagar era stuff to and not the Van Halen boys as they surely would have had much better sound like the Roth albums

Nothing I'm dying for...probably pick up Licence To Kill because I grabbed In The Beginning on Rock Candy...but I already have the Jap versions. Will look for feedback on Fire Down Under and if it's good and says there's a huge improvement in it sonically I might grab that one to. But D'Molls come on who really needs that one.

Great CD...not a big fan of albums with multiple singers but this one works and is solid stuff with a lot of great performances and worth picking up for sure IMO.

Great CD...I'm liking this new one better than "Dig" which after revisiting last night is also a really good album with maybe one too many mellow tunes...Hard To Kill seems to have a little more of an edge to it and rocks a little harder for my taste.

Cool releases but they need to get them available on Amazon and other big sellers like Importcds to pick up more sales.

Liked the first two Gin Lady albums but didn't care for the last one as much...but I'll give this one a shot if it comes around for a decent price in the USA. They were making great music as Black Bonzo...love all 3 of their BB discs...great pomp prog stuff that I'll admit I liked a whole lot better than the Gin Lady retro stuff. Maybe if they cranked up the guitars just a little more...I d

Eric Gales is one if not the best heavy blues rockers out there now...easily one of the best and most tasteful guitarist but sometimes so overlooked it's criminal...everyone is always talking about Joe Bonamassa but IMO Eric is every bit as good or better than Joe whom I'm also a big fan of just not so blown away by his same old tradition blues stuff he's been putting out album after album...alwa

Thanks for the post I had written these guys off for some reason or another but when I went to checked out the videos and then samples on Amazon I had to buy it...sounds like their older stuff I really used to like...nice and heavy and funky with tons of OTT guitar work and solos...listening the Auto Rip now while I wait for the CD to land...some good rockin' stuff.

Agree with Ken what's the deal...Mr. Scary could of ripped off a great solo at the end...kept waiting for him to solo somewhere in the song and instead it was a no go...not a bad track...but a cool rippin' solo outro would of made it soooo much be

Hope this label pans out as I sold my copy of the Cold Sweat CD years ago to a friend and wouldn't mind getting another copy...it would be nice to have another label like Rock Candy doing these old albums again.

Good melodic pomp rock album that should be getting a lot more attention...guess it's because Perris released it. If it was on Frontiers or Escape I'm sure you'd be seeing and reading a lot more hype about it.

Great tunes I can get right into not sure about the recordings though hopefully they have some kind of master tapes and the songs will sound better mastered on the new CD. Sounds Like another could of been classic record ruined by record company negligence.

Love it...anything with Ron Thal is usually good...can hear a little Holdsworth influence at the beginning of the solo...good stuff that I'm sure will have a better mix when the album lands.
