What's this Foreigner album under “2017“? It's not the anniversary album they've released?

I actually tried to like their albums... They are ok, but in most cases not more for me. Yet, sure I will try again :-) Can't deny their musical abilities though (especially Perry's voice)!

Journey - they are considered THE aor band, but I only like some of their hits such as Don't Stop Believing, Stone In Love, Seperate Ways etc.

This is a cool thought! Could be near the quality of the Jamison/Peterik album. They also have quite a similar style in lyrics IMO.

It's okay now ... sometimes it comes to misunderstandings when you only read other people's comments instead of talking to them face to face.

Have you heard it yet? I think it is a fantastic AOR album in the typical Stan Bush-style. Stan Bush-style means motivating lyrics, very melodic rhythms and catching choruses. The love songs (story of love, break these chains, the other side of love, the secret) are all ballads - but so beautiful ones! Especially the closing track The Secret has such a great message. The other songs are

Think so too. These two songs didn't excite me before I heard the whole album. Still they aren't my favourite tracks on the new album, but they don't stick out either.

I know that most people won't share my opinion. SITT is a good album, but (without knowing the reason) I find myself listening to AOTL far more often.

I think Richie Sambora's Aftermath Of The Lowdown is the best of his solo albums. Stan Bush's newer albums are better than most of his others, except from Every Beat Of My Heart which is still one of my all-time favourites.

In combination to a previous thread by KAYAKER: What are songs (especially radio hits) you can hear hundreds of times and never get tired of? For me: Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger, Burning Heart Bryan Adams - One Night Love Affair, Summer Of 69, Heaven, Everything I Do Bon Jovi - Bed Of Roses, Livin On A Prayer Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama Journey - Seperate Ways Kiss - Forever Ri

Only a few weeks after the commercial disappointing THTS, the band took a break until 1993 and Jimi left. So if there were concerts to promote the album, there were most likely not more than a handful - and I guess they didn't get recorded. It's so sad that there isn't more Survivor stuff around...

I also knew it before. Even with that age and far away from the melodic rock genre, he had a fantastic voice!

Does that mean Dare will release something else except from Out Of The Silence in 2018 (because it's listed twice)?

I definitely think it will be more for real fans of the band/the singer than for lovers of good production :-)
