Lucky you people that still have any record shops left that still stocks new cds , as far as i know here in sweden only the 3 biggest cities have a few left ,and they are moving more and more into vinyl so i guess that within a few years there will be none left selling new cds . Cheers

The unheavenly creatures the new album from Coheed and cambria will be released oct 5th and from what I have heard so far i am really excited . i think that there is something to enjoy in all their albums Including the 1984 comeback album,and randy bachmans solo albums and side projects ironhorse and union . RBs solo albums from the 90 s are great ,any road and merge ,ok i miss Freds singing but the songs are Great. All this imho Cheers

Hello folks . Ive been on a BTO ride lately ,havent spun those albums in ages ,but their run ,not fragile ,four Wheel drive ,head on are all great albums to My ears ,so it was highly enjoyable to listen to them again . Yes unitopia was a great band ,own all their 3 albums ,and the garden and artificial are great albums . Yes bad beyond words . But there are no easy solution when aging singers loose their voices ,you can go on trying to sing the songs ,but Even the fanboys must agree that it sounds like shit ,or you can do a meat loaf and let other singers sing the songs ,either way i dont think the public will be satisfied . I have no problems with this ,so many great songs in his back catalouge , and i rather hear the songs with somebody who can sing them insted of meat who cant do it anymore . As long as you know what you get before you buy the ticket , i wish that some other Dinosaurs would do the same . Cheers

Mine are Subsignal La Muerta . I still havent recived the actual cd ,but thats another story . I have listened enough to it on Spotify to know what i think. It is a brilliant album ,the songs range from really good to great ,and it is so melodic but with some twists and turns to give it staying power . So whats your album of the year so far . And please not your top 20,try to narrow

it works here in sweden to ,when you stick to the biggest names and the biggest record companies ,it works extremely well with in stock stuff ,that is nearly Always delivered the day after. it dont work that well with not in stock stuff,1 month is not unusual . but as i said its not the end of the World ,just a Little frustrating , a few years back i bought som many records so i wouldnt

I also want cds ,thats the problem ,but i dont wanna wait a month on its arrival,its not the end of the world ,it is only records. Perhaps i only had bad luck with My recent purchases ,right now i am waiting on the new subsignal record to arrive ,have it on preorder at 2 webshops here in sweden ,but so far both have failed to get it 2 weeks past release date . not the Music itself ,lots of great Music released ,but Everything surrounding it. usually when i preorder stuff ,outside the biggest names ,i use to get my record 1 month after the release date,but i can listen to it on spotify 1 min past 12 the same day its released . this happens to me 70% of every purchase i made ,because i often do my shopping outside the biggest names , i talked to

re-recordings, agree with rocknut about saxon and garyt about axe . remasters.love sevral among the rock candy remasters and steven wilsons Jethro tull remasters ,take JTs aqualung for example ,sounds like a different album compared to the original cd version . apart from those examples and a couple more , i dont really see the Point with all those rereleases . cheers

yes i also really like them ,my only complaint is that most of their songs are in the same mid tempo vein . so for me they would be even better if they where more varied in tempo and let themselves loose and rocked a Little every now and then . anyway they are very good at what they do . cheers
