Interesting. Would be a shame to take such an amazing soundtrack like that and not perform it as a stage show. We'll watch!

Terry, do you know if there are plans to create a stage production of this and tour with it like JC Superstar? Those songs just really lend themselves to a cast on stage ...

Incredibly well done album - Andrew's review at 91 was spot on.

Just listened to this album for the first time on Monday ... stunning ... absolutely wonderful. No surprise being Morse work, but I would love to see a stage production of this music - may be my favorite thing he's ever done.

Agreed - I listen to Aria today more than any of the original Asia albums. It seems to have had more staying power than the others.

This is simply an excellent album! I have been listening to it over and over for the past couple of weeks and am more impressed every time as the songs get in my system. As a big fan of Bad Company, this album just feels like an old friend and is great from the first play. I definitely recommend it!

iTunes works well for me too. I think a lot of this is much ado about nothing because iTunes will still exist, just as a separate app from movies, etc. I don't see it goofing up anything else for those who already have music from that source.

Same! Godz were the opening act, followed by Starz, and then Angel. One of the first shows I saw as a teenager - what a great night. I'll miss him - some classic music.

Excellent point about "who made them iconic." A great example of that is REO Speedwagon. Most people don't even know that Kevin Cronin wasn't the first singer, but it was his voice that eventually made all the hits and made them famous. When they perform 157 Riverside, Kevin is singing a song originally recorded by Terry Luttrell, but it's not as if we're seeing him as an imposter be

Very interesting responses here, thanks everyone! Don raised one I hadn't even thought of - Kiss. Gene and Paul have always been there, but the rest is a revolving door, yet most still think of them as Kiss anyway. I really wanted to see their farewell tour but decided not to spend the money unless Ace and Peter joined them. Yet I'm the one who is usually totally okay with new personnel in ba

I had a question to toss out for discussion. This thread is NOT in any way intended to be negative or to devolve into argument, just something I'm wondering what others are thinking about ... A lot of people have posted lately about going to see Kansas, as they're firing on all cylinders and selling out venues - I saw them last year, wonderful! The only two original members of Kansas are the

As is often typical for this board, someone asked a legitimate question and, instead of answering it, several just used it as a grandstand to share their negativism with the world. In answer to the point of this thread, I have yet to see the documentary but am looking forward to it when I get the chance.

Wow, the song "Sun" sounds so much like a Glenn Frey song it's uncanny, and the song "Rock You" totally has the vibe of a Don Henley song that I can even hear him singing. Good stuff and equally stunned no one mentioned this album until now!

Thanks for sharing this, Koogles ... I had never heard of Back In America before and just listened to it on youtube - what a great song and Brock in classic voice!

Big fan of this album ... something about Walk On just grabbed me from the first time I heard it. I don't think there's a bad track on it.

Pinnacle Point was one of my favorite "finds" of last year. Terry, do you know if there is a new album in the works or just speculating?

Sounds awesome. I wonder if they're going to include bonus tracks, outtakes, etc., or just the albums themselves. The price is certainly reasonable for 16 disks.

I have to admit that I'm in the same boat. A good friend of mine once told me, "If you like Queen, you'll love Muse." So, I got a couple of their albums and tried really hard to like them. I guess I just missed the point, but I never saw the analogy to Queen and couldn't get into the music. But that's the beauty of any art form - what works for one person doesn't have to work for ev

You frequently use these forums to rant about religion and get off topic for why we're here - to discuss music. I thought this was an interesting article that would have generated conversation about music instead of faith. At any rate, I feel sorry for you and will pray for the salvation of your soul. I never give up hope.

I see the Angel tickets but no mention of Starz as opening act yet. Maybe they're waiting until Michael is back to 100% to set those dates?

Okay, just finished listening to it (so glad to have Amazon Music where I can download immediately!). I love this CD ... great from start to finish, with enough acoustic parts to break it up so it's not all the same. The vocals are also terrific. Thanks again for the tip!!!!

Well, yes, they are, but when Dimino and Meadows did the shows together last October, they only played in the UK. I'm hoping for a broader US tour this year with Starz.

Thanks for the tip, Terry. You and I usually like a lot of the same stuff, so I'll give it a listen! Slamer's work is consistently good but I just missed this one, somehow.

Thanks for sharing the link, Carl. This is great news indeed - hoping they come over to the U.S. and just wish I could have seen them last fall in the UK!

I'm curious where you saw the news about both bands making new albums and touring ... somehow, I must have totally missed that. That would be SO awesome ... I'll never forget seeing the Godz, Starz, and Angel as a triple-bill back in 1976 - still one of the best shows I've ever seen. I know that Starz had an album in the works a couple years ago but shelved it due to Michael's health but had no

Nice track - great guitar work and fairly typical of Brian's solo material. So good to have him doing something solo again after all these years. He was on TV last night - they interviewed him about the New Horizons space project ... so amazing to see this legendary guitarist who went back to school to get his doctorate and is as much of an astronomer as a musician.
