It seems like almost every day I have another favorite song on that CD. That's a good sign - so many strong tracks that they're all great! For some reason, even the bonus "Home on the Range" sticks in my head for their spin on it. The go-to feel-good song of the album for me is Summer, but Voyage totally captures their sound from the 70's. Such a huge success for this band - great t

Sorry to hear that ... they responded so quickly to me but that was right after the first shipment came. But I am LOVING the CD ... every song is so solid that I'm amazed they could put together that solid of a release. Now we just have to get you that poster!!!

I didn't receive the signed poster right away at the same time as the CD and fleece jacket so I emailed them. They wrote back and said the posters were sent separately and apologized for the delay. Within less than a week, the poster arrived so that I got everything. But they told me I would be sent a link to download the digital version of the album and I never did get that. It seems like th

Yep, that's the feel I get from that song. I'm listening right now to The Unsung Heroes ... for some reason, that song feels like a Don Henley track! I love it but could picture Henley singing it. As you said, every time I listen to this, I like it better ... keep hearing bits I hadn't noticed the last time, particularly when listening with headphones.

Well, you know that you and I agree about 98% of the time here, Terry, but we're not on the same page with this one. I'm not sure you can get more guitar driven with a sweet guitar solo than a song like Rhythm of the Spirit - not sure what more we can expect than that! The song reminds me of Mysteries and Mayhem, same vibe. If you think back to some of the classic Kansas tunes, from Point of K

I got the new Kansas CD on the release date but "saved it" until I had an hour just to relax and enjoy it - which was last night! I thought the Voyage and Summer were two of the best Kansas tracks in the history of the band ... absolutely stunning songs. The entire CD exceeded all expectations I had and found me smiling, remembering the '70s when I bought their first few albums. Real

Formulaic is a good word for it. The music is very good, but every "new" song I've heard makes me think, "I feel like I've heard that song before." I also wish them well.

I really had high hopes for this album and gave him a chance because some of his earlier stuff is so brilliant. But this track has to be one of the biggest pieces of garbage I've ever heard ... it's embarrassing, really.

Hats off to these guys for not just continuing to tour with the hits and going back to the studio. It sounds fresh and awesome - can't wait for the whole CD next month. Anything Billy Greer touches turns to gold!

Agreed ... I didn't have the patience to listen all the way through it ... awful song, sounds like it was recorded in someone's garage.

I don't mind a lengthy track once in awhile, but there's no way I would shell out 15 bucks for four songs, no matter how short or long they are.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but this song isn't being sung by "the new guy" (Ronnie) - this sounds like a classic Billy Greer vocal to me. It's a really strong track in the classic Kansas vibe, but it also feels like a Seventh Key song because of the writing and Billy's voice. At first, I thought it was an odd choice for a first single because it doesn't spotlight the new si

Tons of talent there but I don't see myself buying a CD with only 4 long songs on it - I don't have the attention span anymore!

This sounds *really* good ... has the old Kansas vibe. Definitely a heavy influence of Billy Greer in terms of feel and vocals. I'm so glad to see a classic rock band making new music instead of just continuing to tour with their old hits. Rock on, Kansas!

This song has the vibe of Queen's Dragon Attack, and just like that song it's not bad but really goes nowhere. As someone else already said, it's a fairly forgettable song, though I've heard worse.

I actually have the other bonus tracks from that album from previous releases but not the Scholz vocal track. If you could send me the mp3 that would be awesome!!!!

I have been trying to find "Someday" from the last album with Tom Scholz on vocals. It was a bonus track on one of the releases but I was never able to buy it. Does anyone know where I can buy that version??

Terry, you said you like BOTH of these tracks ... which other new one are you talking about other than When I Was a Boy? I didn't know there was another one sampled yet. I love WIWaB - classic ELO vibe.

30. Keagy
I have listened to Kelly Keagy's "I'm Alive" solo album for the first time - I love it, just like anything he has done with Night Ranger. My question is: On the last song of the CD (Half a World Away), I would swear the backing vocals are being sung by Joe Vana of Mecca but I don't see any credits to Vana or anything online about it either. Am I just imagining that voice or is it Kea
