Syre are actually great! From my hometown and, if you can't stand the pop metal/glam stuff, there are some AOR-ish gems tucked towards the tail-end of "It Ain't Pretty Being Easy". Notably, "In Your Eyes" and the awesome "Never Said Goodbye". Don't listen to the naysayers, this is a good disc!

Can't get enough of their song, "Rearview". Singer reminds me of Henry Lee Summer a bit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWzr4ppju38

First heard "Back in America" by Network after suffering through National Lampoon's European Vacation. Best part of that movie.

In 1995, it was released as a single off "Strength in Numbers" (Music For Nations ‎– CDKUT163) But it should have been released as a single from "Don't Come Easy" a few years earlier while the scene was still hot. Tyketto- Standing Alone single

Morningstar "Venus" is great AOR/pomp-rock. Axe-meets-New England style. Way better than the debut, IMO.

The omission of Pinnacle Point's "Winds of Change" is also surprising. Top 3 for me.

Awesome! The last 2 Boulevard albums went four singles deep here on Canadian radio. Let's keep that tradition alive with the new record!!

I liked his "How Country Feels" record with the title track and "Runnin Out of Moonlight". But I found his last record ("Fired Up") a bit disappointing.

I agree... this record was an embarrassing mistake. Simplistic "daily affirmation" style lyrics, horrendously processed vocals, hookless attempts at pop songs that bore- or simply take up space- rather than energize. 16 songs that wouldn't have qualified as "Up" album cuts. The quicker she can bury it and move on (back to her country roots), the better. "No One Needs to K

I was at my local Sunrise Records in Canada, and I looked under "J" in metal and saw a header card for "Joker". Thinking it must have been a mistake, I flipped through the misfiled J titles and found Joker's "Cool Deal"! Had no idea it had been reissued!! What a great day!!
