I had the pleasure last week of seeing a way advanced screening of a film that doesn't get shown until this coming fall. You have to sign some paperwork, swear to secrecy and all that uh...jazz or you will get your ass ahem...royally sued. I had seen the trailer and thought it looked promising enough. Turns out I was completely blown away. The kid did a fucking phenomenal job of playing they

Was hoping that was the name of a new single. Any shite performances aside, I can't wait for him to drop another solo record. I never warmed up to Live To Win. Could have sworn he was planning on a third solo record that was more in the seventies vein.

Yeah, that is how I like Alice In Chains to sound, Revisiting that first single, perhaps it isn't as bad as I thought. Thought that last album was a snore. Which sucks cause I always loved em. Is it a grower? Anybody got any favorite tunes from that they can hip me to...?

I am a big Stones guy but yeah, post Tattoo You...ha...that's where you really have to put in the time to find what you may like. None of it is terrible but a lot of it is definitely not great. I still give them all the credit in the world. They can do whatever the hell they want and despite the differences they keep on rocking. yada yada.... 1) A Bigger Bang --- Still love it. Still list

Alright. Fair enough, Darren Housholder. That solo sucks and Jon E. Love never wow'd me. Ho Ho Ho.

The guitar playing of Jon E. Love from Love/Hate never worked for me. See Spinning Wheel as a fine example of a killer song with a guitar solo with no guts, inspiration or anything that lasts in your memory.

Disagree. Abstract solo for the time that still holds up today and works nicely. The end of the song is so kick ass it just kicks ass. Haha

Right on!! Absolute Classic!! Several years back already, I went to see Jane's Addiction here in LA at the Wiltern. Before the show they played Bark at the Moon in the lobby at a high volume. Wanted to break protocol and start air jamming. Voodoo Highway is probably my favorite album from the era next to Blue Murder's debut. Good times. Great playing!

Sweet!! Never heard that before. Listening on my crappy sounding laptop at the moment. Slightly reminds me of a Captain Beyond song in the vocals. Digging the weird keyboard sounds. Too bad that guy can't play the guitar though huh?? Ha!! Sheez What a shredder!!!

Yep Vai's Ease has been a go to full on shredfest since 1986. Three minutes plus minutes of beautiful insanity. Other great choices as well. How can anyone ever pick just one favorite Schenker solo....???

Hmmm... Always loved those two albums and I fell out of step with Maiden at Fear of the Dark. My tastes changed and the singles did nothing for me. Unfortunately Maiden has become such a snore. I don't hear what others are hearing in Brave New World. Maybe I will give it a go later today. I tend to think that Book of Souls is the best thing they have done since the return of Bruce. Still, It
