Favorite album of 2017 by far is: Millionaire - Sciencing Black Country Communion is getting a lot of play as well lately. Also digging Motorhead - Under-Cover, This is also the year that I finally realized how completely bad ass Kreator is. That my friends is metal. Doesn't mean I am going to listen to a lot. But I give them my full props.

All the respect for Glenn Hughes in the world. Throughout the years the man has simply been on more than a couple of my favorite albums of all time. I dig the previous BCC albums but they have never completely clicked for me. Surely I must be one of the few that really loved California Breed....ha! On my second listen here with IV and I am really digging it. Finally!!! This will pr

Grohl sure is unstoppable force, great guy, yada yada. But the Foos.... No Thanks. Give me Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders or Taylor's last solo ep any day over the Foos. That being said, I might try to give this new Foos a chance.

Without UNDER LOCK AND KEY I probably would have been a cutter. BFTA takes second place.

HUGE George Lynch fan and I have to admit the last few Lynch Mob releases haven't completely thrilled me. And that's ok, I have come to expect it. I had no expectations coming into this album and DAMN I think it's pretty good. Definitely solid! None of the songs sound the same. It's not the band at their heaviest but it sounds like to me like they have found the grooves that work really wel

The Struts are cool. Greta Van Fleet-- What the cuss kind of name is that? Wasn't she the girl in everybody's school that had no friends...? Not bad. If I want a Zep inspired band these days I will stick with Slow Season!! SLOW SEASON!!!!

Got it Irwin. If we ever have drinks, you are buying!! Re-listening to Broken Bones and it is decent. I wonder though, hypothetically if George Lynch were to rejoin Dokken with the intent to copy John Levin's style.... What would that sound like....?

I think at this point Don should just ditch the classic Dokken sound and go for "Yacht Rock" because he would be better suited for it. That would be such a great about face. That's his speed. This Dokken shit is just a farce.

Are you guys that think KXM could use a better singer and think that Dokken's later output is far superior to Lynch Mob's, the same jackasses that think VH was better with Gary Cherone....???? Asking for a friend.

RAMSAY---YES!!! Especially Enter Sandman. Considering getting legal representation against Metallica and their record company at this point. I feel I should be paid royalties just for having to put up with hearing this song so many times. Easily have heard this more times than a human should have to. (Class Action Suit anyone.....?) As far as GNR...oh man, Paradise City always annoyed me

I've always thought that most of Le Tekro's solos are far too short. Super fast, often super flashy, always tasty. More often than not, far too short.

I could go on and on about a lot of stuff from that era that has already been mentioned. However, for me the one band with an album that still fascinates the hell out of me is by a band called TRULY Their album.... FAST STORIES FROM KID COMA...... Holy shit!! It's dense, it's heavy, its lovely, it's a post apocalyptic. I don't know... I just love it. The Follow up FEELING YO

Jesus Louise, Don. With the exception of some of Pearl Jam's best moments. I completely HATE all that shit on your list. I'm sorry, just had to say something. I do thank you for putting together a comprehensive list of crap music, though. Hey man, all the best to you but I don't think we can hang.... :)

Made a Christmas list one year when I was 19 and had John Mellencamp's "Uh -huh" on there. Why??? Beyond me. Suffice to say my Aunt got me an album by A-ha. After the explaining to her and my mum that I wasn't a 14 year old girl and wouldn't be giving it any chance in hell, we got a few laughs out if it. Never did get that Mellencamp album and I survived just fine. A-ha was pro

True that. However, for decades I never once heard a dj quantify it with "Elvin Bishop Band" or mention Mickey Thomas as the lead vocalist. I should mention that I have known this for several years now. I find through bringing it up to people that many out there still have no idea it is Mickey. Just saying...

Spent decades thinking that Elvin Bishop actually sang Fooled Around and Fell In Love until one day I decided to do my homework. I thought my god this guy has an amazing voice, shame he only has one hit. HA! The great Mickey Thomas. I was so pleasantly surprised.

29. What if
they kicked Axl Rose out of that band he is in and brought in Brian Johnson to replace him....? Would that go over....? I think it would be amazing. I am all for the greatest flip flop in RNR history. Hey, a kid can dream....
