Gotta be "Voodoo Highway" for me....but not by much! 3 day funk, silver horses, the last time and a version of fire and rain that makes the tune their own. Having said that, I tend to listen to these albums, and "Dusk" if the truth be known, in whole sittings. The most missed American rock band in the world.......ever!!!!!!

Just a heads up to any of the Belfast mob who fancy seeing a rock legend playing their masterpiece 1973 double album in its entirety......plus a side order of their hits. Tickets are pricey though at 59 and 69 quid!! Still probably the last chance we'll have to see them. Tickets on sale at 9am this friday.

Glenn Hughes- Burning Japan Live (1994) Hughes at his best, when just singing and not playing bass, with half of Europe as his backing band. I never tire of listening to it.

The yanks love a sob story, and a come-back kid story even more.........and Van Halen were/are a successful arena act ,unlike the boul Michael. I would ask him if he would do a tour based on a particular album, as so many artists are doing now.....such as a set-list based on the "Live at Budokan" album, for example.

The question i would ask him would be "Is it your round,Michael?" Seriously, I reckon the real reason he is not lionised by the general public,as Page and Blackers rightly are is that they havent blackened their copy book with shocking behaviour and alcohol related debauchery, or if they have they've kept their demons quiet (As with Page and his decade+ heroin habit) Unfortunately,Sch

I really love this album, Andy......probably because I saw the band live for the first time on this tour and remember playing the album to death. You cant really argue with the likes of Rock my nights away, still love that little devil, and my favourite ever Schenker moment "Captain Nemo"........There is a bit of filler, though, and you really need the yank re-mix. Looking forward to

Yep, I would also recommend "Assault attack" as the album containing his finest playing and the superlative voice of Graham Bonnet. Also recommended: UFO-Walk on water (1995) UFO-Obsession (1978) MSG-Built to destroy (1983)

"Come taste the band",has been my favourite ever rock album for most of mt adult life.....Hughes,Bolin,Coverdale??, how could it go wrong?? Well, about 6 months later it did go wrong and the band imploded, but not without leaving this album, which is frankly flawless. I have always loved MK4 AND 3 Purple over the Gillan/Glover era, yet love the Perfect Strangers album. Still, my idea
