Don't leave me this way,Absolution blues and Wwhisper a prayer for the dying....Blues rock really does not get better than this, and Coverdale has always pissed over Plant,Vocally.

I saw Saxon in Belfast last Saturday night and they were magnificent.....Particularly Mr Glockler,an amazing drummer. I hope he makes a full recovery.

One of my top 10 desert island discs......The songs are magnificent,Coverdale never sounded as powerful again, and as for Page....his playing was absolutely god-like with particulary the last three songs being better than anything he ever produced in Zeppelin.

I got this the day it came out, having attended the show.....which was utterly mindblowing, def one of those "I was there" moments Get the dvd, you will not regret it. Best moments are Miller Anderson's tear jerking rendition of "Pictured within"....get through this without tears and you are a better man than me.Glenn hughes, with a superlative version of this time around.

I reckon he should ask Pat Mc Manus again.....Pat turned down 'ol Cov in the early 80S to play with his brothers in Mamas Boys, apparently the only player to ever do so. I saw him play in a pokey Portrush pub with his solo band the other week, and he is beyond shit-hot...an amazing guitarist.

Without doubt the finest blues-rock singer to come out of the eighties scene, a man with an exceptional talent, posessed by so few. So, should he be honoured?? what a stupid question!

I would probably agree with that, with Blackbird edging it over the debut........having said that,Fortress just keeps getting better and better with every listen. Way too many poor songs on AB3,in my opinion.

Great guitar sound and solo.....but I love his voice more in a blues based scenario like the slash band.

Putting ol Cov on a stage beside Hughes is the aural equivalent of putting Simon Weston beside George Clooney in a beauty contest.....a ridiculous notion,if ever I heard one! I'd still go see'em though!

It's always been my favourite Queensryche album......much better than mindcrime. Best tunes are I will remember and screaming in digital. Also agree about the criminal lack of Bass!

I reckon the band handled this all wrong.......she would definitely have preferred Todd to grab her smartphone and throw it to the back of the hall!! Seriously though, a classy move that would have brought a tear to a glass eye.....looking forward to their Dublin show all the more now.

I blame government cuts to the "care in the community" bill. Funny as hell, nonetheless, but you have to remember that we used to lock people like this up for their own good........now we put the on BGT or The X Factor!! She must have been the inspiration for the Viz character "Aldridge Prior...He's a hopeless liar".

Gotta be "Voodoo Highway" for me....but not by much! 3 day funk, silver horses, the last time and a version of fire and rain that makes the tune their own. Having said that, I tend to listen to these albums, and "Dusk" if the truth be known, in whole sittings. The most missed American rock band in the world.......ever!!!!!!

Just a heads up to any of the Belfast mob who fancy seeing a rock legend playing their masterpiece 1973 double album in its entirety......plus a side order of their hits. Tickets are pricey though at 59 and 69 quid!! Still probably the last chance we'll have to see them. Tickets on sale at 9am this friday.

Glenn Hughes- Burning Japan Live (1994) Hughes at his best, when just singing and not playing bass, with half of Europe as his backing band. I never tire of listening to it.

The yanks love a sob story, and a come-back kid story even more.........and Van Halen were/are a successful arena act ,unlike the boul Michael. I would ask him if he would do a tour based on a particular album, as so many artists are doing now.....such as a set-list based on the "Live at Budokan" album, for example.

The question i would ask him would be "Is it your round,Michael?" Seriously, I reckon the real reason he is not lionised by the general public,as Page and Blackers rightly are is that they havent blackened their copy book with shocking behaviour and alcohol related debauchery, or if they have they've kept their demons quiet (As with Page and his decade+ heroin habit) Unfortunately,Sch
