I’m a huge fan of the album Do Not Disturb by the band Grand Hotel which was released in 1979. I have the vinyl but would love a digital copy. Anyone able to help?

Have to agree with you Steve, I’d feel exhausted if I listened to a whole album of that.

I've just heard a couple of tracks from an unreleased album by Band of Angels which was a project with Elliot Easton from The Cars and Danny Malone from Diving for Pearls. I really like the sound of it. Does anyone have a copy / MP3 tracks of the album?

Always had music in the house as my parents loved music but old school 40’s 50’s. My older brother was away in the forces and when he came back I was introduced to the Beatles, Kinks, Animals and I loved the guitars. One day I was in a second hand shop with my Dad and he bought me a beat up cassette player. We didn’t have any cassettes at home so the guy in the shop grabbed one from a pile

Excellent list Steve. There's a lot of my favourite bands on there too. I steer clear of the obvious too as there are so many great bands out there that get missed.

Great list Steve with a lot of my favourites on there too. I stay away from the obvious too as there are so many great bands out there that go unheard...such a shame.

I was listening in the car to my Rock playlist and realised I’ve been listening to most of those songs for quite a few years and still love hearing them. They are all different styles of rock, modern, heavy, funky but all rock and all guitar driven. Now, and for no other reason than I want to, I thought I’d share some of them with you. You may have heard them, you may not but anyway, I hope y

Hi Scott, When you tried the 1More quad driver earbuds and Klipsh RII did you try them with all the different sizes of rubber tips? It really makes a difference in the sound if you don't have the right size for your ear. I hope I'm not teaching my Grandmother to suck eggs here....no point, she doesn't like eggs.

I was given tickets for Sevendust, Shinedown and Alterbridge at the O2 in London together with a weekend in London. Sevendust are my favourite band however, Morgan Rose was hospitalised and they had to cancel. Most important thing is Morgan is getting better. Gig was still fantastic and the band The Raven Age took the Sevendust slot and they were great. John Connolly was in the UK and he played o

I was at the Shepherds Bush Empire again last night for the Big 3-0 tour. It as a great night all round however, for me FM and DRN were absolutely brilliant. Both of their sets were amazing. Added bonus, got to meet the whole DRN band at the merch table after the gig. Great chat and pics. Seeing them in Newcastle next week on my birthday too. Result !!!!

Only saw this thread today !!! I was there last night and it was a great gig. I really enjoyed the support band Devour the Day who I've been into since they started. I also met up with them after in the pub next door. Great and very humble guys who were blown away by the crowds response on their 1st UK gig. Great night.

Really love this band. Love both the 1st and 2nd albums. I also have the album when they were called The State. It’s more poppy but still good. I have Zone too which is different altogether...it’s ok but doesn’t blow me away. The album Zone is on Amazon UK as MP3 download if anyone is interested. Thanks for the video links Maro.

Really fed up of all of this “PC” rubbish. It’s called White Boy Blues, if you don’t like it... you need to get a life. If people are offended by such a trivial thing, it’s sad. Sam Smith wants to be referred to as “They” Sorry, but he’s only one bloke. Really, is this where we are today? He needs a clip round the lug!!! I’ve probably offended lots of people.
