Hello all, this is just a short note to kindly inform you that this is my last post on this board or site ever. I've been here since the site started and for the most part had an amazing time but i was just informed by Andrew that he will no longer do any PR for me because i've been so horrible and naughty that i dared question him on a few things at times :) The countless times i've spre

Nina and i wrote a song on the latest Palce Vendome CD that came from those sessions. She did get a deal in Sweden and released a more pop sounding version of "How Do I" that was featured on the ArFM CD..it did OK on the radio but she never got the OK to do a full album then. I think she is planning a rock CD soon if i remember right. We did write a few great songs together so i ho

I get why you thought i could have something with this to do cause there is a connection...one of my favorite singers, dear friend and we've done 4-5 albums together :) I hadn't heard this yet but it's obvious what it is and i'm curious to hear the whole new album :)

I promise to keep very true to the original versions so the 2-3 die hard Survivor fans here don't kill me again...and of course no grunge tones will be present :D Seriously...i'm so thrilled to be playing once again at my favorite festival and what blast to play with Touch!!! Mark Mangold is here in Stockholm right now and we're doing some song writing this week as well..great guy!!! I'm a

Argument is too strong of a word i think...i'm not fighting you...i simply state my opinion in a grown up way unlike what many often do here...and since i have an opinion i'm able to express it...you seem to lack one and just dodge the issue... But...i'm fine leaving it as it is...i'm off to the studio to record demos for our new Impera (melodic rock) and have a very cool meeting with a well k

I have worked on more than 2500 albums, countless singles, even more jingles, movies etc etc etc etc....this is my job as a session musician. The reason i became a session musician is because as a kid, i started to play guitar when i was 5, i was a die hard fan of Kiss, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Accept and all kinds of hard rock bands but then became just as big fan of Toto, David Foster, Bill Cham

I really like Alice in chains and Soundgarden...i don't love Nirvana but i do really like some it and i absolutely see the talent and sincere art in it. But i'm a fan of all music...which is also the reason i became a session player...

I don't shit on it!!!!!!! I love AOR...have since the 70's...and i don't sit at home digging Nirvana all day long saying "this is real" etc haha There are still killer AOR albums being made...but being scared of having an opinion is the enemy of pushing people to strive harder!!! Why are you sooooo scared???? And i'm 100% known for it HERE...in my normal job as song writer, pr

And once again thank you for having a single clue what i do most of my time :D I do VERY few AOR albums these days...i even get yelled at constantly by my dear artist friends for not having enough time to help them out on their albums...plus i very rarely release my own AOR albums anymore!!! I do play on quite a lot of music that is fairly close to grunge and more rootsy rock though... But

Agree...and it's REAL art...not paint by number cliché AOR that's made to "almost" sound and feel like the good old AOR...

Sorry but i find it completely pathetic to see you slaughter anything that doesn't aprove with your taste Andrew but anytime one of us has a PERSONAL opinion that goes against the sacred oath of what to worship we're put in place to feel stupid... You are allowed to not liking one second of Nirvana's music...but the double standard of this site has really made me (and quite a lot of other peop

Not really AOR but close :) But we've talked about my work with Vic Heart here before...today we released his first single "Jimmy Dean" in Europe and without any push in the media it's currently number 7 on the national Itunes singles chart!!! I co wrote the song with Vic and i produced it. It's like 1 Euro to support the artists and labels so i hope you'll buy it :D https:/

i had him singing next to me quite a bit during 2 days in the studio and his voice was amazing...you all need to stop going into full TMZ tabloid mode all the time...Steve IS slowly getting back on the market and he will release new music down the line...and if we're lucky he might do SOMETHING with Journey again... We spoke a lot about Journey in the studio and he was very warm about all his

I'm so happy that last night turned out great! I just got off the phone with Bobby who was also so happy to be there. I got to the airport in Stockholm on Saturday only to see CANCELLED on the board :( All flights to New York were cancelled due to bad weather and after a couple of hours talking to United Airlines about finding another way to get me to Minneapolis i just had to give up and driv

Hey! i think the song is just being aired on Sirius right now… And liking Mutt or not is just like everything else in music…a matter of personal taste. But he is so much more than just a producer…one of the most successful song writers in the world, great musician, fantastic singer and what is wrong with him having created a sound of his own…THAT is what i personally love about the t
