I will say, Jeff's voice sounds live, exactly as it does on this cd. Guess that's the raw, live sound they were going for.

Jeff Carlisi is truly missed. 38 Special is one of those bands that tours non-stop. Guess it caught up with other members.

i hope it's all greatists hits. the less i hear off the last two albums, the happier i will be. I can tolerate Heaven on Earth, as i'm sure they will play it. Kim's not singing? awesome!!!!! She does not fit this band.

thx for the info. he's a great singer, saw him fronting 38 special when they toured for rocknroll strategy. He's very good, but no Don Barnes. They just need to make a solid new album with Don.

Seeing them mid-August. there's clips of the current tour on youtube. they are pretty darn tight. i see they gave kim a guitar and kept the bass player. she can now just stand on stage and look pretty!

I also would love another 38 special cd. Can't say i was crazy about Drive Train, too much Van Zant and not enough Don Barnes.

Not dissapointed at all. The preview pretty much sold me. I'm really digging the 5 or 6 i thought i would. I would have been happy with a EP of the best, but it's great to have New Loverboy, even it it is old Loverboy.

Ready Eddie was a great cd. i think that's his last full studio effort. Love it. He returned to his classic rock sound.

I'm sure Elefante does pretty well on his own. I wished he was singing in Boston to be honest. What a voice he has!

young people don't care about albums. It's sad and it's a fact. I'm 44 and i hate see it end, but we are going to see less and less album releases in the future. Hopefully, we have another 5 years of having our favorites put them out. I hope i'm wrong, but just talk to someone in their 20's and early 30's. they don't see the point of buying a cd/album or the physical product.

Kiss is all about theatrics and being entertained, plus the costume characters. The hits are there. It probably will have some degreee of success after Paul and Gene. Especially in Vegas.

About 5 very good songs, and 5 that are indeed unpolished songs. Slave sounds like Loverboy meeting Van Halen. That song is a trip to hear. They indeed captured the 80's sound on the 5 that i really dig.
