I think Journey should be added to everyone's lists. Boston as well. Both of there most recent new/previously unreleased albums were trashed by most fans and the buying public. Rightfully so, what i heard wasn't good at all on any level. Great bands at one time. Maybe time to call it a day? Rock on, M

Dig it....Great player, songwriter & singer. Jason for those who didnt know sang Lead and/or backing vocals and played bass guitar on over 12 hits for Chicago since July 1985 when he auditioned and was asked to replace the recently departed Peter Cetera, who quit that spring. ON Sandiego, CA Radio. Great interview!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK5alhGdLe4

I've been way busy and had 2 computer meltdowns since my bday of 10/10 I missed the chance so NOW...I am saying this. I echo what Kivel said. I didnt really know him or meet him as he was usually busy but John Kivel seems like a decent guy, hardworking & fan/customer friendly. All the vendors seemed like they were happy to be apart of it. Andrew McNeice, we have had some differences in

This guy was one of the most down to earth individuals I've met PERIOD. Funny, patienta word that escaped very few over the 5 days we all were there setting up, tearing down etc. etc. Vic & his mates are talented and I enjoyed meeting Vic & dealing with a 1st class musician in both talent and human goodness. MOST everyone was geninue, kind, understanding of the VERY difficult to dea

Glad you enjoyed yourself anc came out to my general area ( i live about 45 minutes in traffic away from the venue). My very first time at Home Bar and it won't be the last. Place is 1st class with really overall great service and some hot ass! Food for a bar was top -notch and some of the best bar food + handfull of non-typical bar delights in all of Chicagoland. I was artist driver,

1,000% agree with everything you said minus, I liked Cherry Pie as a song and album. I will say there best albums for songs were Dog eat Dog from 1992 and the 2 middle 90's albums 2006's Belly To Belly Vol.1 and 1995's Ultraphobic "Undertow, "Followed", "Belly To Belly", "Letter to a friend" ( possibly the best song Jani or ANY band did at that time) "

i prefer electric myself fellas but...WORK OF ART accoustic was outstanding! One could argue the best set of the 4 days ( 2 vip shows on Thursday & Sunday). i CAUGHT ALOT of WOA sunday and part of Saturday night, I really dug the song they introduced that they wrote with Late Ex-Toto, Trillion, LeRoux and solo Vocalist Fergie Frederiksen. It wasn't an attention grab, or "sky point&quo

aGREE that Jon Bon Jovi solo band ( which without Richie Sambora it is that) is still big but they are more than a country band the past few years. Country, Pop, Rock NOT MR or plain rockin' guitar based band, certainly not in the past 10 years. Kiss hasn't been kiss in MANY years. They are a parody, a vegas-style act. Def Leppard were great once, they are alot like Kiss. They are done

I have heard this complaint about TOTO For over 25 years. THey are NOT i repeat NOT A ROCK N ROLL BAND ONLY so, to expect all 1 trick pony styled music as much of classic rock and esp. Melodic rock/pop/metal is today, well you're gonna be disappointed! THey have rock n roll albums like 1981's album ' Turn Back' & 1992's album the heavy 'Kingdom Of Desire' both albums boast rock n ro

There are more than capable singers out there i know of, that would do it justice. However, I do think based on what I've heard him sing the past 14 years ( including demo's live in studio etc) That Chicagoland's Very own Singer/Songwriter Joe Knez-Vana of MECCA I II & III Fame, IF healthy enough would absolutely kill much of the Jimi songs & do the really high backing & harmony v

Nope, Not for me. Not even close. Most pop thing they did. a Couple stellar songs, a couple more good songs and pop fluff to round it out for me. High quality fluff but I MUCH prefer 'When Seconds Count' 1986 with granted more synths but alot more guitar work & i think better songs. To each their own. Pro's and con's to anything really. For the record my 2 fav's are 1981's Premonition

agree. awful thing. my previous thread posts were to ask about what the fans wanted them to do and what they thought they'd do. Totally understandable to not do any shows now. I do hope, ( Maybe selfishly) they do continue doing live shows and touring n finally releasing some new music and/or the 1990's Fire Makes Steel sessions or some of them with new songs in the near future. On the thought of Peterik, Sullivan & Dave for a new album or tour: The Eagles,in my opinion was a easier sell for a reunion than those 2 guys back in ANY band. Framkie's NOT a bad dude, nor does he hate his fans, quite the opposite. He just likes to keep his and his other "Family business inside the band/family. This is why I doubt all the people that blame him, and call the the

Chalfont? I don't think personally the'd be interested in Kevin. Interesting guy, was and still is a talented singer & live performer. But, he's burned many a bridge. Not-to-mention Kevin's friends and works with Jim P. & if you haven't noticed Survivor & Jim don't get on so I doubt that union. However, interesting it might be. Martay

sorry mate i knew the albums wrote wrong # its early. ;) M p.s. you'll get varying degrees of opinions on Dave " The Man" Bickler fronting Survivor but, for my 2 cents and a few friends at the time way back in 93 thru 2000 Dave did mostly a Good - Great job as Lead singer. The 'Fire Makes Steel sessions' as they have been dubbed, were mostly great uptempo pop & Rock n R

I was merely trying to gauge, with several dates booked and paychecks on the hook what Survivor fans, music observers thought Frankie & The guys WOULD do and What THEY wanted him to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Everyone take care of your health, this body is th

Dave Bickler was fired in late 1983 or early 1984 due to needing more time to recover from Vocal Surgery. The band chose to replace him to record their 4th album 1984's Vital Signs. Dave, had recorded lead vocals on some of the demo's Jim & Frankie had done. Several vocalists audtioned Including, Kevin Chalfont a later noted singer with Gregg Rollie Steven Smith & Ross Valory (Then of
