Just my 2 cents of course, means nada to anyone but myself. Andrew, curious with the addition to Hall Of Famer David Hungate and the other heavyweights from Nashville/LA in Joe's band, would you consider bumping them to play later in the evening?? a guy with over 2 dozen nominations winner of 9 grammys etc Hungate alone seems like he could sell tickets. How long is Mecca Supercha

To each their own on what you like pizza to singers to baseball teams. You cannot argue someone's opinion. Some facts thrown about that AREN'T true. 1. Ron Platt is a kareokee singer or some idol /game show fake singer type. He's sang on professional cd's/albums by a number of bands. ANd for over 20 years has been the lead singer of ARRA Written and recorded new music with Shooting St

on Foreigner...I'll tell you this Kelly Hansen is a fucking beast!! great frontman, singer, vocalist to the tenth degree. Control Pitch Diction you name it Range! and the dudes over 50. Foreigner also had another dynamic frontman and FANTASTIC singer Johnny Edwards IN 1990 thru 1992 he fronted the band and help write and create a commerical rock near masterpiece in my opinion. Fantastic a

I also saw kELLY and group with longtime members.. Foreigner's original lineup hasn't been together since 1977/1978 sooooo there you go. Survivor has 1 original member Frankie Sullivan. Chicago has 4 but only 2 or 3 tour and only 1 is a singer. Robert Lamm Boston founder Tom S. fired everyone else and Brad Delp killed himself ( dealing with Tom seems to be a terrible burden. RIP Brad)

Some Backstory: Andrew & I have NOT seen eye to eye on a few things in the past. He took great exception to a few opinions and facts i gave years ago. after the last one i quit coming here and posting anywhere for years. I took great exception to a couple things he has done in the past. I didnt agree and still don't with how he runs/does some things in regards to the site/reviews,

Hi all. Joe Jr is a good friend. I've known him since 2004 when he was 12 years old. He's become a REAL guitar player these past 4 years! Especially since he started in 2008. Not to mention a budding singer/songwriter of substance! Those at Mrfest 2 & 3 might remember him playing guitars and singing with MECCA He formed this band earlier this year with 2 young friends. They are looking

even better check out their last 3 studio releases 2006 reunion album from the USA solider & their families view. The heavy yet still melodic & riff heavy fantastic IV release 2009's Karma, I might like even better & could possibly be there best album ever. 2014's is also pretty damn good ROCK N ROLL albuM, with some stand-out cuts. It's of high quality and a better mix of te

Joseph is the shizzz nitty bam bam! Even when he was tubby and overweight since 2010 he's "Brought IT" with TOTO. I also heard him sound pretty damn good on a couple solo dates in Europe with that Swede guitarist /songwriter ( pretty talented) Peter Freidstadt? The line-up now or will be in August along with Lead Singer Williams: * Filling in for new drummer Keith Karlock is Shan

Yeah he was the co-lead guitarist & Backing vocalist for Mecca Live at MRfest2 April 30th 2010 in Elgin IL. I was on the crew for the " Mecca world tour" 2010-2011 ( the joke was it was one show only) Joe Vana Jr. was also on Vocals and Guitars ( and got ALOT of praise, opened many eyes) as well as Paul Piscotto (Valkir) on guitars, Mark ALano on Guitars, WALLY Huston on Bass G

I don't see anything on this on the boards here. He was a friend of mine. I got to know him from 2005-2010 and lost touch shortly after 2011 to reconnect in 2013 a bit. Christian was a giant, both in stature, ( he was probably 6'7) and as a human being. Great guy, loyal, brutally honest ( but not mean), funny as hell. Always having a smile for you or a laugh even if it was a shit day. Chris

I was ( as i said in the last line i typed) talking of the performance fellas. The horribly un-even ill chosen arrangement of an uptempo song, that vocally was nearly unrecognizable to any cover i heard of that song since. The vocals...uh, yikes! I thought this was a stunt or a joke I guess it wasn't. Rock on all!

quesiton for Andrew on Current/past releases I'm a huge fan of Johnny Edwards ( Kentucky's very own) From Buster Brown, King Kobra Northrup's long-time unreleased demos & 1990-1992 stint in Foreigner Unusual Heat LP ( great stuff!) I had heard he did some vocals & writing on MR.com cd's and with another band in the past 10 years. Do you know if you have anything with Johnny on it?

I just saw this after watching Survivor doing their hits tour of Europe this summer. I know the guy co=wrote this song but what in the fairly flying Dutch-Boy-in-the-paint-fuck is Jim Peterik doing??? We all know he likes to dress like something out of 'Spinal Tap' but this is just ....I dont even know how to say it... This a joke, or was he shooting a commerical for something? ( speak

The Snake were a blues twinged Rock band in the late 1970's moved into more american commerical sound but NEVER EVER were a cheese-ball hair band ..... Big hair, makeup flashy clothes of the 70's & 80's bands were replaced by dirty, dingy grubby looking angry drugged up bands of the early-late 90's But...shouldnt it be the MUSIC that is most important here?? The performances? Earn it on

Survivor: 90's FMS also I'd love the Double Albums worth ( over 25 songs) of DAT tape of the FMS/Fire Makes Steel '93-'98 Sessions I have heard 16 or 17 in not so great quality and most are I'd say the best material overall they ever did. ALL lead vocals from Dave Bickler and a few with Frankie Sulilvan The 4th Mr. Mister album ( Pull) & Mike & The Mechanics have at least 1 a

asking people who are interested in you, your art, music, work, business or cause is NOT begging or pan-handeling. That's just not correct. Now, i know for many people, this doesn't sound like something they'd want to do to make theyre project/business whatever but...it is a viable way to do things in this totally baren wasteland known as AMERICA 2016 Also, Not using the p's vast fortunes or

Thanks Mike. You know, Im at a crossroads. Time and time again,Ive chosen the high road, and each time it has hurt me financially and emotionally, as well as impeding my artistic forward momentum. Yet, I find myself unable to solely "serve my own vision". There's always other things that need to be served, like my bandmates needs, right and wrong, etc.etc. But I am on the cusp. The fan

I'm afraid you can add NORWAY to the growing list of artist's that will be leaving the MTM camp. Quite simply they can't live up to their contractual agreements. They have been notified of breach of contract and given the opportunity to remedy the situation, which they have chosen not to do. It's sad that it will have to go down this way, but the choice is theirs not ours. I will be sending them
