Howdy there you guys! The scene today struggles more than ever, this site and the people here are some of the heroes who make it happen. I am honored and humbled at the 26º spot! Although it doesn't seem much, it means the world to me being among so many amazing bands, mainly because I am from Brazil and Melodic Rock is not our country's cup of tea If you know what I mean. Just to be a part

I never liked Vanderberg, always thought his songs to be very boring and his partnership with Coverdale left me cold. I'll check this one out and give it a chance though.

I really dig this new Boston track, it has their signature written all over. Vocals were always buried into the mix in all Boston albums but I agree that this one is a little bit too much. Love the vocals and guitar parts nevertheless and If this is a clue of what the album might be I'll surely buy it.

Unfortunately outtakes and demos can only be heard through bootlegs so far, and that's a pity because the quality is far from ideal. Nevertheless, I had almost every Queen album but felt compelled to buy this BOX and it was worthy at least for me, can't stop listening to it on a regular basis guys.

I hope you guys don't get me wrong, but it's not because it's a project that I don't like it, I didn't like it because it sounded too much familiar to their own first album. Alan Parsons is a project and I think very few can touch them. So the problem is in the end production maybe, it is all sounding just the same to my ears. Just like that last Sunstorm album, I bought it, listened to it three

Yes, Kiske interviews when talking about this project are nothing but a letdown. I think I got spoiled with 70's bands anyways, which released a new, exciting and diverse album each year. Well, I'll wait for my album to arrive to form an opinion, hope it's better than I think it is.

Pre-ordered the new album, but haven't liked what I heard so far. One of the reasons I got back to AOR was Place Vendome's first album, which I thought was just great, Kiske's voice is a mix of Geoff Tate and Steve Wilson's and it sounds great, angelical and powerful and the songs were just great. Now, Is it just me or they are repeating themselves on this new album? Actually, what is really new

Hello, just wanted to know your general impressions about this. I bought this BOX and was amazed with the crisp and warm sound of it. Up to ''The Works'' the sound is second to none! Also, the inclusion of almost all EP tracks, B-Sides and Outtakes on a second disc was a genius idea.

I think it also applies to the beatles albums. In the beginning they used to release two albums a year, sometimes three and although all the geniuses could be heard, the real standout albums came out when they slowed down a bit, right after Help!.

UNfortunately it sounds truly disappointing to me. It seems they started copying themselves and some songs on this last effort sound like their very first one, the magic has gone. I can't also forget when Kiske said that the place vendome project was nothing for him and that he did it only for the money. I also do it for the money, except that I never get any, so there's only the strong love I fe

Just loved 28 days later as well as 28 weeks later. Always preferred running zombies than the moronic ones. If you like zombie movies, you HAVE to watch DEAD SET, it's simply amazing. Regarding satan's movies, Rosemary's Baby really made me feel uncomfortable, poor Mia. Sinister is pretty good too, wasn't expecting that much!

That makes two of us, Troy. Definitely on my top ten horror movies (along with The Howling, The Omen, The Prophecy, Martyrs, The Thing and others) watching it on Blu Ray makes it even creepier, something that only Jack Nicholson could top with his performance on The Shining.

Hello rockers. Since I'm a huge Black Sabbath fan and a horror movie buff, I thought of sharing this with you. During their tour in America in 1973, all members of Black Sabbath decided to attend ''The Exorcist'' premier, word has it (Ozzy himself said that actually) they got so disturbed by the movie that when they got back to their hotel they all slept together in the same room. This comi

Actually I remember Lawless saying in an interview that W.A.S.P. meant ''We Ain't Sure, Pal''. I don't believe that Lawless meant ''White Anglo-Saxon Protestants" due to the fact that his mother is partly Native American. But what the hell, no one knows for sure.

Oh no, Pelata, we've been Nice Or Wild since the beggining, back in 2009 and Andrew knew that prior to the contest. If I wanted to throw a contest like this, the definition of the name N.O.W. would have to show up for someone to win, right? So I prefered the disclosure of the name than the mystery it might have caused to some. And I guess the winners do too.-:)

Dear blm, Yes, you got that right, I even said that I regretted not having held this competition before coming up with our name, because there were so many great suggestions. Nevertheless, N.O.W. stands for what we put out as a classic melodic rock band, Wild mid tempo rockers and Nice slow ballads, agreed? Hehehehe

Actually I loooked for someone who sounded like my childhood hero: Lou Gramm, that's why I contacted Philip, as his voice reminded me so much of the great Lou Gramm's. It's incredible the way he sings some songs, I wish you guys could listen to his voice solo without all the instrumental parts. He's really gifted and I am glad I'm a part of it.

Right on, Sheen! Just like the style we love so much, I am always composing nice, soft ballads or wild mid tempo tunes. This is the duality I love the most in Rock and roll.

The winnner and runner up will be contacted by e-mail prior to that of course. Thanks for your participation, Terry, truly appreciate that mate. In my opinion, what N.O.W. stands for has everything to do with the kind of music I make, soft ballads and mid
