If it was missed by any Lynch-ites out there......... George Lynch plays Camden Underworld, London on Tuesday 11th March! Backed by a temp band and he's doing a Dokken/Mob set. According to the guys at Yamamha that have been entertaining him here in London over the weekend, he's really fired up for the gig. Hopefully, if the turn out is good, he'll bring the newly re-formed Lynch Mob or "S

The fire only effected the small part of the market to the right of the rd before the railway bridge. The old market, where the lock and buildings are is intact. The pub has gone (pity Pete Docherty and Amy Whorehouse weren't in it when it went up) Typical of the news talking shite, they made it sound as if it was the second Great Fire Of London! Camden market still exists, but us undergoing cha

Yeah, still in Camden. And in the market is a good CD bootleg shop. Lots of rare boots on CD.

That told me, eh TC! Lol. Indeed your right and I did I say he lived in Camden? Nope. The crazee Flying V wielding German lives just down the road from me, though i've yet to see him in Barnets Tesco shopping for his "5 a day" or swigging from a bottle in a brown paper bag in the local park.....yet! Ha. I said, (to coin a phrase), he lives a few miles up the road. And if you know Lo

I wonder if a certain Flying V wielding guitarist, who lives up the road from Camden will come down and play with his old mucker!?....

In case anyone blinked and missed it. WAYSTED complete with Pete Way and Fin, guitarist Chris George from the Marshall Band, play Camden Underworld tomorrow night (06/03). Sure to be a corking gig, and great to see these guys in a decent venue in London. Sure to be some great tunes and some UFO thrown in for good measure. Its sure to be a blinder. So leave the house and go see a great band.

And Mr.CD as well...!! Gone, consigned to history mate. Soho will become like everyother part of London. A slew of coffee shops and a littering a kebab houses. Funny isn't? The indigenous population that has been there decades have to move out, but the foreigners move in. How can they afford? Weird. the death of old London ensues. Hey, wished you had said in your first post,....know of any goos

Quo Sadly, Westminster Council are hell bent on destroying the old Soho vibe by closing down the music pubs and independent record shops. How? They have raised the rent and rates in the area three fold! But BERWICK ST in Soho is a must. The street for cheaper and second hand record shops was always Berwick Street. This off of Oxford St (300 yards east of Oxford Circus Tube). To get to it from Sh

Lets hope whilst they've ventured over to Europe they honour their word and play those cancelled shows that were promised.

Oni Logan was great on the bebut but live he was a bit iffy. Perhaps he's better these days. Mason is brilliant, tho I wish he and George hadn't re-recorded all those Dokken and Lynch Mob classics a few years back. It was like trying to re-write history. IMHO, it didn't really work. Mason is really underated. Mason sounds great with BIG COCK (what a name!), very AC/DC/Tesla in style. I agree t

No.... Because he and the three original members of DOKKEN were approached to do the tour. But its not happening, so George secured the slot for a new Lynch Mob.

Harv Thanks for that. No pressure!! But GL hasn't played on these shores properly since 91. As a fan, and having talked to a lot of GLs fans were expecting all the stops pulled out. Ha, kidding. Sounds great. To be fair, as it is billed as George Lynch, I think the vast majority at the gig will be the guitar-heads, so a instrumental show will be fine. Hopefully, Lynch Mob or Souls Of We will re

What! Your not confusing TM with Mike Lindup, L42s original keyboard player. If it was TM, not heard that one. He's been touring with Vai from time to time.

I agree with lots of stuff being said. But guys, there were some great shows on this tour. Yeah, they should ALL have been great shows. But.... I hope EVH or the band just take stock, face up to stuff and deal with it. There is still a great band here. Its never going to be 1984 again, but if others can still cut it, then so can VH.

Yeah, but Lynch needs to concentrate on something for more than month!! He hasn't dome much for a while, and seems to jump from band to project, to this singer then that singer, then DOKKEN, the Lynch Mob....you get the pic. Shame if this was the classic band. There won't be many more chances. I can only guess as Lynch is there with the Mob, he was available! So who was the stickler? Mick is to

Yeah, reading between the lines, Jeff Pilson doesn't say which DOKKEN it was going to be. But it is him talking about it, I can only gather it must have beeb suggested the classic Dokken. If thats the case, its a double edged sword. I would love to see and hear the classic band try one last time to do a great DOKKEN record. But DOKKEN 2008 sounds bloody damn good to these ears so why jeopardise

Thats interesting,....that it was to be DOKKEN on the tour but it ended up falling apart and George Lynch secured it for Lynch Mob. The link is more than interesting. With various rumours of the original DOKKEN reforming for a summer tour, anybody else get the feeling this was in fact, supposed to be classic DOKKEN line-up. And it "falling apart" was that it couldn't be worked out with

Must be a Welsh thing......i'm from Cardiff and I love that album. ROCKMAN guitars all the way! Some production sounds a bit different, but great songs. Pity Tont didn't take the project further. Absolutely NOTHING like his solo instrumental records.

Perahps at that point THEY DID have every intention of moving on. Danny is in the illegal Eagles. Perhaps the success and feeling from those last shows made them re-think. Are they not entitled? Christ, how maany bands and artists have said were over or no more of the old ever again! To come back a year or 2 down line. Loads. No need to turn it all into a soap opera and conspiracy theories. Hopef
