I finally picked this CD up yesterday. It's very tough to find in Southern California evidently. Excellent liner notes as usual Andrew. I'm digging the new tune a lot. I wish the whole new CD would be released though. As for the unreleased "Keys to the City," I like it but not as much as the definitive VU version. The Starship version is more laid back but still cool. It's nice to see a

That is my favorite REO album. Top notch writing and performing on that record.

Oh right Bobby is the bad guy and Luke is the heavenly angel. Bullshit! Bobby has been consistently slagged for YEARS (and still is from time to time on Luke's Facebook page) while the guys in Toto claim they are the innocent ones. They would be nothing if Bobby hadn't been there. If I were Bobby I would tell them all to go fuck themselves, especially Luke.

Just discovered this Phil Christian track "Prisoner." Check it out it's catchy as hell. Includes the great Stevie Salas on guitar and Jody Cortez on drums. Reminds me of Michael Morales a little. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=La-lnrmuVcg

I would have to agree. I have a Japanese pressing that sounds fantastic. The booklet should be interesting though. Hopefully they've interviewed more than one band member.

The Japan-only live DVD from 1983 is awesome. That is an essential purchase. The band was at the top of their game. Check it out if you get the chance.

ANYTHING is open to debate. There are no absolutes. It's too bad some people took it too seriously. If someone doesn't like an album you like, so what? To say it isn't open for debate is narrow minded. It's getting to be like Nazi Germany in here. Lighten up!

How did I miss this? I was just listening to the Very Best Of CD from 1999 and they used the original movie version which IMHO is the best version.

Every Road Leads Home To You is a fantastic song! The best thing Bon Jovi hasn't done in over a decade. The vocals are perfect.

I just wanted to say thank you to Rock Candy for releasing remastered versions of Quiet Riot's Condition Critical , Fastway and LA Guns debut and Cocked & Loaded. I requested remastered versions of the Quiet Riot and LA Guns releases not long ago and was very surprised that they were coming so soon. Thank you Rock Candy for the wonderful reissues and keep up the good work.

Clearly a double standard in play here considering the poster of the new thread was pretty much left alone. He did however rate the album highly. The o
