Its just cool to hate BJ in public. I've got a few mates like that who slag em off when an audience is present, yet when its just 1 on 1 chat tell you how great they are. My brother came with me to a gig at Manc City Stadium in 06 and said how superb they were, yet when with his Rush buddies changed his mind.

Followed them since the 1st album and missed one tour since 84. Never understood the hatred either tbh and don't see many bands getting the same amount of flak that Jovi do,yet they still have the ability to play to 20,000 audiences when they play in the UK.

The Jovi hatred has been around for years, long time since I cared what people think of them but since they got famous its been the trend to slag them off. They still sell music and tickets to frustrated housewives so they're not complaining....

Same here,I've followed Jovi since the first album and only missed one tour in that time. Yes they've written some weak songs, but who hasn't? Trouble is most people seem to decide they're weak before actually to listening to them.

Had tickets for the Snow/roof tour too. Did see them twice on the DF tour though,Skid Row on with them too. Talking of cancellations, did anyone have tickets for Scorpions Savage Amusement tour with White Lion? Never found out why it got cancelled.

Although I was at Donington 88,luckily I wasn't close enough to the stage to get caught up in the surge. A mate of mine tells me he moved about 20 feet without touching the ground.

Bon Jovi have had Toploader skunk anansie the feeling biffy Clyro all opening for them..... To think the MOR 87 was a strange mix. AC/DC currently have Vintage Trouble supporting them in Europe. Interesting to see how that goes down.

Was Ten overlooked or slated? Never heard anything but good reviews comments about it myself. And why hasn't the OP got Earthshaker or Black Tiger at least? Missing some real treats there.

Just watching the news about One Direction and the hardship of touring,300 shows in 4 years and they said it must be gruelling. Then you read Richie telling of his enjoyment of doing 200 shows a year. Meanwhile the Vega children carry on in their ad for the Nottingham show."All killer,no filler......“. I,m sure Tom said he'd said his last word on the subject a week ago.

One guy on the page already said he refuses to watch Vega in Nottingham in a couple of weeks despite him already having a ticket. The replies from the Martins were often laughable and sometimes anger inducing on the Firefest page. One guy wasn't allowed an opinion because he wasn't a musician.Ive seen plenty of groups and knew they used backing tracks at some point,Eclipse being the latest last w
