Reading his statement, I came away thinking it was very classy.

Byron will always be golden to me for the spectacular vocal on "Out of Love". That makes up for the other shit they did with him.

It would've been nice if he fulfilled the confirmed tour dates before departing. I don't know the circumstances, but certainly this could've been handled with more grace. If I paid my money to see Kansas, I'd be pretty disappointed if Steve Walsh wasn't there.

One does not have to have the love of Christ in their life to be a believer in G-d.

Wow, another Glenn Medeiros fan. What album was that song supposed to be on? - Ryan

Yes to 8. 7 not so much. Just my opinion though.

Over the years, story-lines came and went, as did characters. For me, season 4 was beyond compare and everything after that was downhill but still enjoyable. I am looking forward to the new season. I just don't know how it's gonna work with half the episodes. - Ryan

I think their album sales would continue to decline as they had from IV onward. That all had nothing to do with the band or the quality of music they were putting out. It was just a bad time who were prominent only a few years before. I do think that Joseph would've been great on Kingdom of Desire. It's hard to determine if they would've gone for that kind of hard rock sound if things didn'

That's the number I have. That's the original. The one with the APP logo has static in places as well as pops and clicks. The last track also fades out long before it's supposed to. - Ryan

It's a shame that Freudiana wasn't part of the set. That is quite an opus. If you can get ahold of the rare original pressings released under Woolfson's name, it's a must buy. The re-release under APP has many flaws.

I think Rock of Faith blows Battle Lines away. It's mellow but there are no bad songs.

I don't troll your posts Niv. You just spend so much time posting (and preaching) here, that the incendiary nature of your posts are everywhere. You are an attention seeker and appear to be very bitter. I suggest you abandon the melodic rock genre completely because your disdain of it is clearly damaging your psyche. Now you can go whine about this post because I told it exactly as it is.

You keep saying the same thing in every post. We understand you don't like it, so don't you think you've classified it as "shit" enough? You're just being childish and redundant. For the record, I think Wetton sounds better than ever. - Ryan

I have heard the album in its entirety several times and am anxiously waiting for my order to arrive. I think the vocals are brilliant and each song is melodic. It could definitely rock a little more but the hooks are huge and the vocals are great. - Ryan

Live and let live. You can continue to think Katy Perry is the messiah, and others can continue to think she's bubblegum. There is no need to be redundant and forceful in asserting your beliefs. We have heard you. Some agree and some disagree. Live and let live.

I guarantee you could play lossless audio through outstanding Bose QC15 headphones and then play 320 kpbs mp3 and there is no one on this board who would be able to tell the difference. I admit, I am a lossless snob, and covet WAV/FLAC files, but the human ear can only discern so much based on that. A shit mix is a shit mix, no matter if it is WAV or MP3. - Ryan

I thought his playing was masterful on the 2nd Mecca album, but I agree the overdubbing on the Jimi Jamison Firefest show was deplorable. It would seem that to this guy, not getting enough P.R. (by his standards) is reason enough to flea from a message board. People should participate on this board to share their love of music and also agree and disagree on a myriad of topics. They should not

I never had a gripe with him except for how the drum sound he used on Journey's Revelation. It sounded like the drums were made of cardboard. He did a brilliant job on Trial By Fire.

I think the past 3 are all very consistent, but in terms of an album that plays consistently from beginning to end, Omega might be the best. Howe shines the most on that one. - Ryan
