Yes...I prefer hard rock, metal, and thrash all before melodic rock...that said, melodic rock has it's very important place for my ears, hence why I'm a member here.

Yeah, Billy Talent is an incredible musical rocking band from Toronto, and it's fitting that they did this. Check out all of their albums, because they have 5, and all 5 are fantastic top notch. I can not think of a single other band that has accomplished that 5 albums in a row, ever.

Too bad, wasted my money on this one. 11 songs, but 4 ballads and 1 really lame 1 minute guitar taping solo.

He is not. No one is perfect. Look at the mess of a sound on Avenged Sevenfold's The Stage. Everyone is talking about how it isn't "loud"...yeah great. But it sounds like it was recorded in a Tin can as well.

I, for one, like to know that an album is coming out so I have an expectation...however, some lead times are so incredibly long (and then delays happen) that by the time the album comes it's almost dead to me before I listen to a single song. And I am one of those that almost never listens to previews as I enjoy my album experience in a setting where I'm alone and can take it all in (old fashion

I'd be happy with a move forward that has the heaviness of Tearing Down the Walls. Plus, there is no better closing song than Laughing at Tomorrow. And the bonus sons Shame is them at their tops. I hope Dave can top that.... Who was on tour with them live as second guitarist?

It's a great album, made up of 14 great songs, packaged together in a cruddy sonically WTF kind of production. You can't pick out the guitar riffs, everything is mashed together and nothing stands out. It's a horrible listening experience, which is a shame when you can tell the songs are so great. Too bad they missed the boat and delivered it poorly.

Does anyone know? I've searched online and can only get the total list of who has song, but not on which songs. The only voice I know for sure is Marq Torien. Otherwise I'm lost...like Brand New Day is simply stunning. Any help is appreciated.

Maybe Cinderella is a good example. Four albums, each pretty dang good, top to bottom. And dare I say the last album is the best of all. Billy Talent is another one, but it's odd to have a band like that with 5 straight great albums. Airbourne is on a good roll. Tesla? Nope. The last decade has not been kind. Extreme? Nope. First three, yes, after that, the last two are just gawd
