Wow...really? Not sure I agree at all. I am very underwhelmed to tell you the truth. I had hoped that a lineup change was going to spark something big (as it pretty much has every other time the lineup changed), but no, not this time. I find it bland. And that's a damn shame.

Thanks. But I mean on the albums. Live is easy to tell obviously. And having put all my old CDs to MP3 and having no booklets I can not check. I just thought that'd there would be someone or somewhere to find this online.

Is there anywhere online (or some of you good knowledgeable folks here) where someone can find out who plays which solos (or parts of solos) on each song in Def Leppard? Try as I may, I can simply not tell when Phil isn't playing. I just can't pick out Vivian's style. Any help is appreciated.

How does Rock Candy do it? Do they get the original masters from all these labels? And I'm surprised that all these labels allow it.

Lots of recommendations, but here's mine anyway. Get everything with Jorn Viggo Lofstad on Guitar (Yes, that's Jorn with Jorn!). So, Out to Every Nation, The Duke, Lonely are the Brave). Also, the two albums with Trond on guitar, so "Dracula" and "Traveller". I have not been a fan of anything with Tore on guitar, it just doesn't work for me.

Two huge expectations on my part 1 - Better be two albums 2 - Better be massive and great sounding (NOT like the Self Title album) The e-mails are terrible, and embarrassing to read (even in private). Because of them my anticipation for the album has dropped significantly.

Absolutely agree, Slash's last two albums are stellar. I'm not sure GnR could actually do better than that.

Terrible album ? No. Great ? Not by a long shot. They hid behind,,Hysteria and all reviews were hype promoting. All there is to say. If it was an album like euphoria every one would be saying it was amazing, which it is not.

Bang on. After the first two songs the whole album is just gaudy. It's like sparkle lounge lite. Nothing even remotely like Euphoria. I don't know where Andrews rating comparisons came from but I'm glad others agree. I don't hate the album but it's a HUGE disappointment all things considering.

Agreed 100%....can't take more than a song at a time....much like Falling into Infinity part 2. A great album of Bsides.

Lots of love for X. For me, once again, my top Def Leppard albums are 1 - Euphoria 2 - X 3 - Hysteria The song GO is one of their best songs ever, however. So, if the new album is anywhere between what Andrew said, like Euphoria and X with a hint of Hysteria, it is possible it becomes the top or second album. Anyway, if it's anything around the top three, it'll be a great album.

I hope it's something epic, because the last self titled album was a terrible sounding album (sonically) and most of the songs were "been there done that" already... I hope they re-invent themselves.

I've said before and again I'll say it. Euohoria, for me, is Def Leppard at their best. If this is close or, as you say, may surpass it, then great.

Where do you guys live? Like I said, not in iTunes Canada, Amazon.ca doesn't sell music (and we are restricted from buying legal music downloads from amazon.com), and no physical copies in the stores have it.

Not iTunes Canada. And we can not purhcase from Amazon.com (and Amazon.ca doen's sell digital). I guess pirating still has a reason to exist.

I trust Andrew, especially because I rate Euphoria and X as the best two Def Leppard albums (1 and 2 respectively) and Hysteria and Pyro as 3 and 4. So, if this album really is in between Euphoria and X, I am in for a real treat. Can't stand the wait....

Is there anyone who has these three extra songs from Condition Human? I don't have a vinyl player and it really sucks that we can't purchase them "legally" anywhere. Kinda screwing fans actually. Songs: "Espiritu Muerto"   "46° North"   "Mercury Rising" Anyone wanting to "lend" any, greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link. Bonus tracks on Vinyl only? That sucks, because most people do not have vinyl, which just gives another reason to pirate. And don't get me started on Japanese bonus tracks...in this day and age? Ridiculous.

Haven't heard it yet but I've been looking for the "supposed" box set/deluxe version. Wiki says there are three bonus tracks 13. "Espiritu Muerto" 14. "46° North" 15. "Mercury Rising" And yet I can't find anywhere other than Wikipedia that talks of these. So, is this legit?

They did release Hysteria part 2, and it was called Euphoria. And that is their best album hands down. Hysteria is #2.
