The best way for me to describe Native Tongue is to liken it to Motley Crue's Corabi album. Both are actually really great albums...but neither fit in to the history of the bands. I listen to Native Tongue...but never while listening to any other Poison album. On the other hand, Crack a Smile was an amazing return to form, with a new guitarist. Frankly, I really wish they had done one mor

That's a damn good idea to do refunds. I'd be right ticked to go to a BonJovi show and find out there is no Richie. Without Richie, it's not BonJovi. Maybe if it was earlier in their career and we had time to get used to it, but now, forget any chance at that.

Motley Crue. Vince hasn't done any Corabi songs, but Crab did Vince songs.

There is simply no way that the worse selling VH album of all time, by a LONG shot is all of a sudden #2 on any list. With two albums with over 10 Million sold, and countless others all above the 4 million mark, it's just not likely to be even close to a statistical slip. Not by a long shot.

You really doubt that there is an online troll ready to hit a button just to ridicule the poll itself? There is no doubt that some punk is doing it.

It's not that it affects my desire to check out the album. Like I said, I make my own decisions on what I like or not, regardless of the reviews. It's more like when someone says..."don't think of your grandmother having sex".... Even though you don't want to, THAT image is now in your head, even if you don't want it to be. Know what I mean? LOL.

It's got to be between: Van Halen - FUCK or Balance Savatage - Edge of Thorns And other than that, nothing has hit me as hard in sonically loving an album until Testament's Dark Roots of the Earth

Yes and No. I'd say views/reviews/gossip tend more to "scar" my own impressions, even after the fact. I decide if I like something, however I do get some images in my head that will never leave me, 20 years later even. And that bothers me. That is the main reason that I don't read reviews ahead of time.

Silent Laughter, what are you talking about when you say "For people saying they want more rock, I guess you all forget that when Jovi tries to rock, it just sounds like some cliche, brainless jock anthem they took 5 minutes to write like "This is Our House", "We've Got it Going On", "Bounce", etc. " What about rock songs like: Hey God Neurotica Dirty

Frankly this is just boring. Sad to say. Back to back This album makes The Circle seem like Keep The Faith. Non solos, no soul, not even an attempt at rock. HAND wax great and Lost Highway seemed like a nice change and still had some great concert songs, but WAN? Depressing really. Doesn't feel like they even tried.

Usually I agree, but Down to Earth is phenomenal (the best Ozzy album after NMT and No Rest). Scream is actually alright.

Agreed, do a full album of new, possibly Dokken like songs, and let Jeff sing everthing. Heck, T&N is almost the Lynch/Pilson project of 2003, and that was amazing. Otherwise, keep Robert Mason. He's even better than Jeff, and it's almost back to 1992 again (which is fine by me).

You MUST separate the Criss Oliva era from the Post-Criss era. Both are great, but completely different. I don't understand the upset over another version. First off, if it was out of print, then this is the right thing for them to do. And if they were going to reprint the album, why not add bonus tracks? But if you really think hard, the one and only real bonus track (live tracks don't count as anything), "Bitten by the wolf" was released on the Vinyl version of the original release,

I was never a big fan at all...in fact, mostly ignored him. That is, until I saw him open for BonJovi on the Circle Tour....HOLY CRAP. Now Kid is a performer, and his show was powerful (and BJ was really great to give him a full stage, ramp, and pyro and all. It was really more like a double headliner. After that, I checked his stuff out more thoroughly and noticed he's got some really good

I concur...it's a great album, but seems like a step backward in terms of songwriting from Formation. The covers aren't worth it IMO.

Frankly, I don't like it when bands keep their biggest hit for the last song. I suppose it does make sense for one hit wonders, but otherwise they need to close with something strong, upbeat, and hopefully not their biggest hit. Van Halen - Openning up with "Jump" in 2004 was just great. RUSH and Bonjovi always have a different opener and closer...that's forward thinking. Mega

Easily - #1 Metallica - Enter Sandman (maybe not the best, but still #1) Nirvana - Smells.... (unfortunately, I couldn't get that out of my head if I tried.) Guns & Roses get two nods. Sweet Child of Mine and Paradise City...
