I went - great small venue - part electric, part acoustic, Paul Cook guested on percussion for three or four songs. Absolutely superb gig, Debbie has a great set of vocal pipes - only around 40 people there but great gig. Played most of the album and a couple of others.

Whitesnake have had the better sound at Nottingham, Birmingham and Newcastle.......Coverdale is singing live (my wife can vouch for that!!)....and Leppards sound is bass heavy every night......still a cracking show though, and an honourable mention to Black Star Riders who also put on a cracking opening set every night

Constructive criticism only...............lol Slang is a very very good album! Yes a change of style but you can still tell its Def Leppard.

Number 10 on Billboard is very good ......especially when you consider it is based mainly on vinyl sales. When the CD figures hit at the end of the month I would expect an even higher placing.

I thought I read somewhere that the government takes up to 20% off the bands for performing in the UK - maybe wrong but I though I had read that.

Go both of these gigs this week, long overdue performances from two excellent artists. I wish they would play the UK more often, but it appears either promoters don't want to take a chance or maybe the tax rules makes it too expensive to play in the UK - they play all over Europe so I would suggest it is the latter that is the problem

On this day on 2010 we lost one of the worlds greatest frontmen.......a great man, a great singer, a great presence. Since then Gotthard have moved on with the wonderful Nic Maeder and are still as good as ever. I had the pleasure of meeting Steve on two or three occasions, and I have also met Nic on a couple of occasions too. Nic is filling the giant boots left by Steve and doing a fantastic job

Back from what was a cracking good night. Cheap Thrill are made up of (in case you didn't know)Jeff LaBar and Eric Brittingham from Cinderella, Troy Patrick Farrell of White Lion and Brandon Gibbs on vocals. They played a good mix of Cinderella, White Lion, some original tunes and finished off with a cover of Michael Jackson and Mötley Crüe...absolutely superb. Got to meet Jeff and Eric before

Love it....Gotthard rock! Wish people would let the band move on. Yes, Steve was fantastic and the loss of him was devastating but in Nic I truly think they have found the perfect replacement.
