It's pretty good but gets a little EDM towards the end. But overall, very upbeat and melodic and totally out of 1985 in the best way possible.

This is on a major label no less and was played on a major music video network in the US. Plus, almost nothing but positive comments on Youtube.

Saw this on Palladia this morning, reminds me a lot of: Mr. Mister, Peter Cetera, Cutting Crew, Genesis, Go West, Icehouse...I think you get the idea. http://youtu.be/7HPMK9Uxq3I Added the album to my Spotify queue to see if the rest of it lives up to the single.

Georgia cover band playing Toto, Chicago, etc... Released an EP of originals that so nails the sound of early 80s west coast AOR. https://www.facebook.com/YachtRockRevue Great stuff!

"I don't hear Dave Bryan, Tico or Hugh standing up for anyone but Jon," Well, David Bryan and Tico are not gonna piss off their gravy train. And when has anyone ever heard Hugh?

As I become more enamored with Spotify, and the addition today of Pink Floyd, it got me wondering how much great stuff is still missing (besides the obvious Def Lep/Led Zep/Beatles). I'm talking AOR...off the top of my head: FM - Indiscreet and Tough It Out Magnum - Vigilante, Wings Of Heaven, Goodnight LA Shy - Brave The Storm and Excess All Areas Honeymoon Suite - The Big Prize and Racing

Nope, but thanks. I think the band was American but had a few Japanese members. It's driving me nuts to the point of obsession!

I know it wasn't THAT Tsunami. I thought it might have been too. I have found a couple of other people online that do remember the video but other than something storm related and the giant heads, no one remembers the band or song title.

Thanks but definitely not it. This was a hard rock song, an instrumental I'm pretty sure. It was filmed live (or on stage) and the band all wore these giant heads. I'd swear something like tsunami was in the band name or song title.

Hey you guys...maybe one of you can help. Every so often a fleeting song pops in my head and this one has me beyond stumped. In the 80s, maybe 83 or 84, MTV was playing this instrumental that was sort of Rush-like. All I can remember of the video was a bunch of guys on stage wearing big giant fake heads. They might have been Japanese. I remember lots of fake lightning too. I've Googled t

Anyone here a member of Wolfgang's Vault? I decided to give it a shot for a month, $3 for all you can listen to live shows. I'm pretty amazed at how much 80s AOR is here: Michael Bolton (83) Streets Eddie & The Tide Bon Jovi (84 & 85) Journey Loverboy Foreigner Boston Practically the only band I couldn't find from that era was Survivor. http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/pe

Remember, Grease did nothing to bring back doo wop, etc back to the masses 30 years later. Rock Of Ages might pique interest in Def Leppard or Night Ranger very temporarily, but within a month the kids will be back to their Pitbull and Skrillex.
