Went to JB today...Firefall and Dukes of the Orient were import only but Dennis DeYoung had just been added at a local price. Happy to support anything that saves a bit of cash and hopefully sends some your way as well Andrew.

Really liked the first one and while nothing comes close to the first Asia albums, enjoy the John Payne ones. Would love another Lana Lane album as well.

Had tickets for Journey in Cardiff while wife and I were touring UK. Arrived at the show and figured we were really early as the car park was really empty. Seems we lost track of days during our trip and arrived in Cardiff the day after.

Even though his appearances are few these days, Wondering how Chuck Panozzo feels about not being considered a member of Styx. Met Chuck after their show at the London Palladium last year and found him to be the most gracious and humble of musicians. That said, love Styx and really have no interest in the Dennis vs Tommy and JY thing but can’t warm to the first two songs I’ve heard from Den

Ahh, memories of Dandenong, Clayton and Wantirna drive-ins...the best memory being shoving my younger brother in the boot (trunk for American readers) and driving over the speed bumps as fast as possible.

Rush in Australia would have been amazing. Had tickets to see Threshold down here bizarrely enough but pandemic put an end to that happening. Hope to see cats in Space when festivals in Europe open up again.

Only ones I really recall are Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash and Val Doonican. Think mother listened to the Hollies on occasion. Most of my musical taste was influenced by an older cousin who was listening to Steppenwolf, Tyrannosaurs Rex and Hendrix.

Many, many years ago Thin Lizzy played a free concert for radio station 3XY as part of their Rocktober promotion. It was being held Outdoors at the Myer Music Bowl. The night before, my friends and I decided to sleep overnight at the Bowl so we’d have front row seats. Not only did we get to see Thin Lizzy do Thier sound check, but they played a couple of requests including a Greedy Bastards tun
