Love them, but can't believe 'Private Parts' was only a bonus track - too good a song not to be on the original CD

3. Zoot
Still have a big smile on my face after watching the Zoot reunion concert dvd. Not perfect, but damn enjoyable none the less. Did occur to me though that they were a band that broke up just when their sound was getting interesting. Can't help imagining what their next album would have sounded like following on the heels of 'The Freak' and their arrangement of 'Eleanor Rigby.' This also got me

Was listening to my all-time favourite Queen album today - Queen II - and wondered why it is never referred to amongst their best work. For me, the band never bettered this album. Just wondering if others have albums from an artist's catalogue of work that they love but others often dismiss.

Anne Wilson has lost none of magic either. Nor has Alice Cooper. Ian Gillan on the other hand...

Okay, here's my two cents worth (which might be adjusted due to inflation and the state of the Aussie dollar) For me the best guitarist on the planet is still Ritchie Blackmore. Have seen him many time in almost every incarnation - Deep Purple, Rainbow and Blackmore's Night and he never ceases to amaze me.

Must be the grumpy old man in me, but annoys me when bands announce a 'World Tour' and then miss one, if not more, major continents. Would love to see Avantasia in Australia but doubt it will ever happen.

Was holidaying in UK a few years back following a trip the the Sweden Rock Festival. We bought tickets for a Journey concert that was happening towards the end of our stay but somehow we lost track of the days while touring and arrived at Cardiff (the venue for the concert) and were met with a fairly empty carpark. It seemed we'd lost a day during our holidaying and arrived at the gig a day late.

Do a 'Who framed Roger Rabbit' and have the superherogirl from the CD cover play bass dressed in her spandex costume. (Okay,so that might have been the testosterone talking).

Was just watching a live Keith Urban dvd and was onceagain blown away by what a sensational guitarist he is. Would really love to see him do a full-blown classic rock CD. Just wondering if there are any other musical genres you'd like to see 'get their rock on.'
