I found the midnight oil tour irrelevant. He could go out and play some dates. He ran for office. He even got his philosophy degree. Doesn't change the fact that he had no idea that he was an icon in a country of 40 million 1/2 way around the world. People love to shit on Cinderella stories. A documentary film about an early 70's Detroit, inner city musical poet. A real life Cinderella story. See it if you can. I'd love to read some opinions but to me it was a beautiful story of art, triumph, humility and grace. (I'm only commenting on the movie, I have yet to learn much about the artist)
