None of them were Superstars before they were in the Band, The Yardbirds were just a step towards that Status. Not sure I would toss Dereck and the Dominoes in there either. They did have Clapton and Allman for the Album, and then Dave Mason for the tour, but Whitlock, Radle and Gordon were not really big names, although really great musicians.

Have them both, and still listen to them fairly often.. Never could understand why the Record company shelved 'EYE' for so long, pretty much ending the Band in the process. I probably lean towards the Debut though, but just a little..

I live about 30 minutes away from Paso Robles, but didn't go to the show, but there was a lot of talk on the local radio the next day about how bad the vocals were.

It is some big secret I guess. I posted about it on here several months ago, naming a few of the people involved. I almost immediatly got a pm from the producer of the project asking me to please remove it so not to ruin the surprise when Frontiers anounced it. I am thinking this was probably around February. I have been told that it is done and sounds great, but still have heard no anouncemen

I can sure believe it!! I have never seen so many days of rain in my life as in the 2 months I have been here in Bavaria, and it is pouring down again today! This coming weekend is the Big Rock Im Park festival here in Nürnberg, that usually draws over 60,000 people here for a long weekend. Will really be a mess if the weather doesn't break..

I remember 'The Storm' had to pay some group down in Texas either $50,000 total or $50,000 each when it turned out they already owned the name after the first cd came out..

When McCain picked her I was excited. Thought it might have been an election changer!! And it was.. Once she opened her mouth and started talking, any American with an iota of common sense could never allow her to be a heartbeat from being in charge of the country. And she still goes on and on with her stupidity. I wish she would just go find Joe the plumber and disappear to a deserted island

"Good Night Irene" by The Weavers... Number one for 13 weeks, at first I was embarrased to have been born during the reign of such a boring sounding song by someone I had never even heard of!! But after clicking on their name and reading their Wikipedia profile and finding out how big they actually were before being blacklisted during the Macarthy era, I am now proud to have been bo

Sounds great! What a great linup! Be going for sure. A little disappointed that Hardline isn't involved, as I had heard they were going to be doing a couple of shows in Germany this summer, but got an email from Josh last week saying they would only be doing Sweeden Rock, Firefest and a show in Portugaul.

Saw ARP in Nuremberg last year. One of the best shows I have seen in years. Gioli sounded great, as did Axel. Terrana was awsome on the drums also.

I made it out to one about 10 years ago. Great party's and shows all over town. Was at Dean Markley party and we got turned on to some backstage passes for Carlos Santana but never got to use them as we went to see Ronnie Montrose instead. Glen Hughes was doing the vocals and Stuart Smith was in our group and they were buds. Ended up with that Kelly Kelling guy that was singing in Heaven and

Heard last week that Hardline was being added to the show and was curious which edition it would be, and it looks like a nice mixture. Johnny Gioeli, Alessandro Del Vecchio on Keys, Anna Portalupi on Bass with Josh Ramos returning on Guitars and the big change Mike Terrana coming over from ARP to play drums. This Line up might kick some ass..

Have seen Fleetwood Mac and Eric Clapton , each 14 times. Saw the Mac the first time with Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer and then pretty much every incarnation since, including 9 times with Buckingham and Nicks. Saw Clapton with Cream in 68, Blind Faith in 69 and 12 more times as a solo artist over the years,

I'm sorry Zorro, I should have been more clear. I was only refering to this project with my comments about Johnny's involvment, which I would bet my last $ to be true. The latter part about not knowing or meeting before was just a blanket statement about projects that have been done that way.

My thought is , that the guys in Europe made all the music, then Frontiers conviced Johnny to add the vocals and call it Hardline to sell a few more records. It amazes me how some of these guys throw together an album and they never even meet each other. They just record their part send it in and somebody mixes it, and it comes out pretty darn good.

This sounds really good, but I think they should have come up with another name. It was a real gut punch for Micheal amd Josh after they had hung with Johnny literally for years waiting for him to get off his ass and finish the vocals on "Leaving The End Open" and the tour promises that he always backed out off,but I guess he owns the name and he said that Frontiers wanted it called Ha
