Huge fan of the band. SWW was my first cassette I ever bought with my own money (after my sister got sick of me taking hers all the time haha). I think These Days was their last great album (and it was a grower for me) and since then some albums are better than others. HAND was a nice return to form I thought, and WAN was better then I expected though it dies a little towards the end.

LOL nice imagery in the OP. I agree with you too. This song is very good IMO. Yeah it's a mashup of some modern bands but the chorus is huge.

I think JLTW is their best tune. It's not their funniest, but as an (almost) straight up rocker it's their best written song. Love the riff/overall groove. I've seen them once and they did play it which was great. Seeing them in Vegas in a couple months and hope to hear it again.

Yep, I saw Saga a couple years back and aside from being blown away by the show (I am a casual fan of the band at best) he was a MONSTER on the guitar. Really, really good.

I like how the production is a little more raw on this album. You can hear buzz from CC's amp, hear him switching pickups, etc.

I think the original is a perfect song which is why I'm surprised I like this one as much as I do. Great build up throughout.

I really like Love is War, but I always have because it was on the Living in Sin single I bought almost 25 years ago. Listened to the crap out of it.

Could be. The vocals are noticeably rougher and just not very good IMO.

A few times a local radio station has played some kind of alternate version of Just One Night. It's not Eric Martin, it's clearly Triumph as the music and backing vocals are the same as the single at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEpcu0B66nc . I think it's Moore singing it, it's just rougher and not nearly as well done. I've wondered if it's a live version, but I'm sure it's got the studio reco

I'm not that familiar with the band other than the hits but I saw them live in 2012 and they were incredible. World class musicians.

I like the first half of Goodbye Lullaby, then it falls off a cliff. I haven't even listened to the new one. Didn't care for the singles.

I'm looking forward to seeing what BVS stands for myself. When I first saw the track title "Critter" on their last album I wondered what the song could possibly be about. When I saw a live version pre-release, I busted a gut.

I'm surprised there isn't alot of chatter about this. Is everyone enjoying it? I quite like it. I do find myself expecting many of the little nuances to Pete's playing or the drumming and then when I don't hear them on the updated version I think "well where did that go?", but overall I think it's fantastic. I do prefer the vocals on the original Sentimental Blvd I will say, but t
