Todd does a great job, although I'm still massively impressed with this version of Queen Of The Reich featuring Mats Leven (and Fredrik Akesson) from a few years back... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XABuwUGacM8

I don't often post things here concerning bands I work with (mainly because they're mostly from the heavier end of the pool) but I think these guys will right up your street (well some of you at least). The single is available to download via the usual outlets but you can check out a snippet of it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBdHggGXYAM Some of you might have seen them open for Heav

All the Dio remasters have been excellent so far, this one is no exception. Just listening to it now, sounds great.

"Tooth and Nail especially, which BTW is not that easy a double bass speed to reach...!" Really? I don't find playing double bass at that speed difficult at all (or faster for that matter). If fact I don't know many guys that play double kick drums who wouldn't find playing that song a walk in the park. Especially as Brown doesn't play doubles for the whole song.

Torben's new solo album is more of a laid back Don Henley/Westcoast type album. It's very good, totally different to his debut to be fair, but this is twenty one years later... Freak Kitchen's Mattias 'Ia' Eklundh plays guitar on three tracks. I spoke to Torben about Skagarack and he confirmed he's working on songs with them but right now he's concentrating on his new solo album and doing

Sun is a new band featuring Sass Jordan and Brian Tichy (who's playing guitar rather than drums) alongside drummer Tommy Stewart (ex-Godsmack/Lillian Axe) and bassist Marty O'Brien (We Are The Fallen, Tommy Lee etc...). The single 'Nomad' is here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwLHknsyWRU If you liked the 'Rats' album, this might be for you.
