I saw them in Kansas City without Richie and it was still worth every penney.

Other than the hits, Slippery sounds dated to me. I like the new cd but then again I am a country fan so some acoustic guitar strumming suits me just fine. I just don't see a Wild in the Streets or Tokyo Road part II anytime soon. BTW if you don't think they rock, go see them live. Awesome show.

Funny as I had never heard of this album until I won it from a local radio station back in the late 80's. Never even knew it was considered an AOR classic until I started visiting this site many moons ago.

After seeing Bon Jovi this past weekend in Kansas City where they sold tickets behind the stage, it got me wondering why don't they just tour in the round? Other than Def Leppard and country singer George Strait, I don't remember any other in the round tours. Are they too expensive? BTW Bon Jovi was fantastic. They played nearly 3 hours. Jon was so energetic and his voice was great. Phil X w

I am disappointed as I am going to see them next Saturday. But oh well. I've seen Journey five times without Perry so I think I will survive Bon Jovi without Richie. Hope he gets better and I hope the replacement can sing backup?

The service fees on the Bon Jovi tickets I bought for this April were more than the face value of the ticket I paid for the Slippery than Wet tour in '86.

Love Tim McGraw. I even liked several of the tunes from his last album "Emotional Traffic" (check out "Halo").

Band of Heathens are pretty good too. Kind of a Black Crowes vibe, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1v-M7naZ3g

I saw Seger a few years ago on his comeback tour. Good show but I wish he would have had some video screens for us in the nosebleeds.

Crazy. I saw Alice in Chains open up for Van Halen several years back at Riverport. Talk about an odd pairing.

Check out Gretchen Wilson's new single. Definitely mirrors that of Detroit Bob. You might recall Gretchen burned it up a few years back covering "Barracuda" on the VH1 Rock Honors show for Heart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqK1Ump-xt0

"What About Now" is my favorite so far. Still can't see why so many people on this board give this band such a hard time. I think their recent albums are great. I mean what other band has carried the Album Rock torch with this much success over the past few decades? My favorite of their recent releases is "Bounce". Can't wait to see them this April in Kansas City. The last

I saw them in St. Louis on that tour as well but the stage was not in the round. I have heard that they were afraid that the old arena would not hold the lighting rigs from the ceiling. As a result they put the stage at one end. We had great seats too, one level off the floor. Tesla kicked ass too!

Heard them play "Everybody's Talkin" on the Bob and Tom radio show a few months back. Sounded awesome especially considering it was early in the morning. Downloaded the song immediately afterwards.

If you like bands like the Eagles or Fleetwood Mac, check out Blue Sky Riders. It is a new band featuring Kenny Loggins which definitely has a country vibe and sweet harmonies. Their new cd came oiut today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXFOQOjhLHc

I can always remember driving back to college while listening to "Too Hot to Sleep". Driving west while the fall sun was setting and listening to "Across the Miles" almost made the world sleem like it was in slow motion.

Being from Missouri, I have seen Shooting Star so many times that I have lost count. I was lucky enought to catch the farewell tour with West on their stop in St. Louis back in '86 I believe. My favorites are their first three albums: "Shooting Star", "Hang on for Your Life", and "Three Wishes".
