Too many to remember... A few I can: Exciter opening for Accept (1985?) with a very good Accept back then, too! Loudness opening for Saxon (that was around the either Rock the Nation or Destiny tour and even being a Saxon fan, that was their not so good period and Loudness were on fire!) Rob Rock opening for Axel Rudi Pell (and some years later again : Rob Rock opening for Masterpl

Walked out at a Disturbed show, too. They were headlining over Halestorm, Buckcherry and Papa Roach, which I enjoyed all three, but the constant 'wawawawawa'-belting: No! :-( Can't remember if I went home early on the Shinedown / Disturbed gig, too. They are only playing 70 minutes as a headliner anyway, which to me is ridiculuous!

Correct answer! 'A hero's welcome for those who heed the call!' In that case for YOU @ the merch-booth from Ross and Rhino at the London show! ;-) :-) PS: I forgot opener ANCILOTTI from Italy were not bad and had some entertaining songs / metal parts in their set, but not knowing their material I found it a little dissonant at times (?)

with his (once again...) new lineup and it was a good show. Ross did 2 CDs with his (German) band and had praised these 3 guys very much when he was playing with them and had then after a break switched to a new singer, and now again to another, Marc Lopes (Meliah Rage), but the guy did a great job and having Rhino (Manowar, Holy Hell) and Mike Lepond (Symphony X, Heathens Rage) on board is a

Since that happened (here) in Germany at a venue I have been a lot (Schleyerhalle Stuttgart) and to a stagehand (working for Disturbed / Avenged Sevenfold) I would like to express my condolences here - same way I did for Rick Parfitt or John Wetton. "As much as we praise the people on the stage the people behind deserve just as much love and respect. It takes a team to pull of a show and

Pro(motional) CDs in Music magazines, what do you do with them? a) throw them away without even listening b) listening to them (then throw away) c) keep them PS: As being a radio DJ for many years I stored them as I sometimes 'needed' some songs for my or requests needs, as I don't own every (original) CD I want and had played songs from the CDs in magazines occasionaly. So have ple

Liv "Sin" Jagrell is back! First video Liv Sin - 'Let Me Out': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qNeERh1sUw I like it, here Liv reminds me on one of my fave singers, Leather Leone (from Chastain) song has an U.D.O./Accept feel to it - (obviously?) It was not good, when both Sister Sin and Crucified Barbara split up last year. At least Ex-SISTER frontwoman Liv Jagrell is back

Thats very bad news - I am really sad. Loved his voice and playing on so much albums. Had a chance to do an interview with him back for the ICON project, before the original ASIA came together... He was a friendly man with a great sense of humor and I remember this very much today with a tear in my eye. Can remember when he went on stage later that day John passed me with his bass already on

Andrew, did you ever hear of this Miami, Florida based band called YOUNG TURK. I have the demo by them and their release "N.E. 2nd Ave." (1989 - 1992 time period) Very hard to categorize, but I had always liked this band, which nobody seems to remember? I know Germany is SAGA's biggest market, I can remember some tour schedules I saw with 17 dates here, 2 in the Netherlands and one in the UK. Great live band, have seen them about 20 times, from their initial success here in the 80ies and one of the best shows has been the 'Michael Sadler Goodbye' in 2008. I saw the next tour (with Rob Moratti), too, and they played infront of about one thi
