Prefer the House of Lords version (and my favorite song by them) The first line-up with Ken Mary on drums and from the great debut album! It was the time when labels, here RCA, even did special covers for promo-single in hardcover CDs: Was happy to find this in a sale for a dollar or so: PS: Forgot to compare if the "remix" on my promo differs from the album version...

To answer the question: YES, they are. Great band, gifted musicians and very dedicated and wonderful people. I was happy to see also Glenn Kaiser with his (Solo) Blues band trio with S.g. Dave Beegle in 2006, and that was awesome, too. You have a whole lot to discover, to start I recommend "20 Years of REZ" and if you enjoy the Blues "Spontaneous combustion".

Thats a nice mix from well known and unknown stuff; looks like a list I would play myself in my own Radio show! The Tygers songs got me so interested so that I am listening to this right now. PS: Paul, the rerecordings of the Wildcat/Spellbound sessions, their (new, well since about 5 years) singer Jacobo and a nice talk with Robb Weir got my renewed interest in the band. Just checked their h

From the upcoming album 'THE NINTH HOUR' here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EN1D5SFw2ZE Fans are discussing this already. Lots of people not so fascinated... I kinda liked the "watered down" (comment from some poster) Sonata Arctica as I did like the Power Metal Sonata Arctica. Liked the last album "Pariah’s Child", but sorry, this song is not catchy at all,

It was only last month, when Bonfire announced Michael Borman will return. Now they changed their mind and announce Alexx Stahl as their new (permanent) new singer! I've known Alexx for years, first in VIRON, then Roxxcalibur and Masters Of Disguise): great singer and cool dude. So wishing him all the best!! He also sings in the great Deep Purple tribute band Purple Rising Here are s

Didnt 'we' had that very same topic / discussion already some years back? I remember, when Ozzy (more like Sharon...) released the Bogus / rerecorded fake versions from the first 2 albums on "The Essential Ozzy" in 200? for not giving them any royalties that started a law suit from the ex-members...?!? (PS: I wanted to get rid of that double CD "The Essential Ozzy Osbourne"

Two very bad (= s.h.i.t.) examples come to mind: Lita Ford - Wicked Wonderland Metallica + Lou Reed - Lulu (one spin was TOO MUCH! And Lita even ranked above that Metallica abomination!) another (like already mentioned): Geoff Tate - F.U. ! (but had to review this, every artist, (even the vest) deserves a second spin, but didnt get better - especially when the real Queensryche had th

like this one here: "Pull Out Without Love" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kf-XdlkSrJg&index=2&list=PLeiwjz5-fyN_1bgl5MoNfI1sYfQ9OtnEH Yes, pretty good, I would enjoy this band play a show with "Mrs. Robinson", "You're so strange", "Big western sky" and "Don't need rules" all in the set! :-) PS: Does anyone have this "

I do like the song and its melancholy, reminds me a little of Darling Cruel (which I know Chip liked back in the day). Like Honestabe didn't know the others besides Stephen and Chip, but will check the album when its out. (PS: It's been too long: Last album I have from Stephen is by Nectar "Afterglow"and that was 'drug-music' from 1997! Never heard his solo album)

Thank you for the great music you left us! Rest in peace. PS: Roye was a modest, easy-going, polite musician. When I was responsible for them at a festival he bought a fan a festival programm so that the guy had a (signed) souvenier. I haven't seen any other musician doing this over the years.

And to round it up, my third shaped vinyl is from Whitesnake (also from that very same summer of 1983, bought in England or Scotland) (As far as I remember those shaped vinyls were not available in Germany; if my memory is right, those things were not made after lets say 1985 anymore, right?!?)

@ Paul: It's the "Rock of Ages" guitar shaped disc. We had this topic a while back in "most precious items of your collection" discussion when I mentioned it, as I didnt know I had one of the rarest (most wanted) Def Leppard items. Additionally I have a Y & T shaped vinyl of "Meanstreak" bought in the same summer, and that for me is even more precious. But I wo

Agreed, "Master of the universe" is a good song in a Cold Sweat / Tomorrows Child or more recently Houston vein. But Palace is a very akward (clumsy) name for a band (even if thats the guys last name; no research?) => German band PALACE, going on since 1990: http://www.palace-music.de/ http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Palace/57321 (besides all the other Palaces
