Thanks Ken for the report! You guys are lucky, I have NEVER seen this band, never played in Germany, and missed them in the US. Total fan here, one of my fave 10 bands! Agree with "For Shame"! So did you jump and stayed in the air ? ;-) :-) PS: Funny you had posted that "Mr.Steak" video - I had a flashback it was that (German) band NASTY BULLETZ I saw couple o'months

Hey Snake, just curious : "TV feed" of that Twisted Sister show, how many songs, which TV station?!? I was at that festival like always, but never heard of a TV airing (?!?) I guess I saw them 5 times in the last 10 years and if I remember correctly that indeed was the best (Guess they were not even a active band at the time and only because the Dee Snider Solo Gig 2 years before at B

"Wino was being deported today back to the U.S."! Oh well... https://www.facebook.com/saintvitusofficial One post says: John Strika: "In other words your singer is an idiot" Lots of people who find that behaviour "cool"...!: Jaime Panlilio: "That's soO Rock n roll!! I'll smoke to that Wino!" Jaime would rather like to praise Wino for d

It's actually Friday here in Germany! ( which makes more sense to me, to answer your question, 2-edge!) I am pretty sure the (so called few who are a lot actually!) record buyers go out more on a friday than on a tuesday to buy stuff ?!? And I believe when the "Aquostic" from QUO came out last month and I bought it on release day I can't remember when that happened before so long

Who is singing for Praying Mantis this year ( I lost touch... as much as I love almost all of their stuff, the constant changing of singers is killing this band: I did not understand why they did not continue with Mike Freeland who is now singing with MORE (2012) and is doing a wonderful job. Joe Lynn Turner at United Forces Of Rock some 5 (?) years back I hoped would play more of his own stuf

Any people who like the band here? One of the few German bands who can tour worldwide and still could draw pretty big crowds everywhere. How do you rate their albums? Upcoming new album of Blind Guardian, first single next month: And by the way: The tour....: 22.01.2015 Miami, FL (70,000 Tons Of Metal) US 02.04.2015 Krefeld (Kulturfabrik) DE 10.04.2015 Eindhoven (Effe

Thanks, yes I like it! Saw you (first ? at least outside of UK) show in Milano in Mai, and yes, I do agree, "Trouble in a red dress" was one of the great songs of the weekend and best song on that festival CD ( together with the Eclipse song) Didnt know you had your own band, too, so: Good luck with the record! Regards from Germany

Both EZ LIVIN' feat. David Reece and Herman Rarebell „Acoustic Fever“ feat. Bobby Kimball, John Parr and Michael Voss shows were cancelled in my town. It was the second time the Herman Rarebell thing was cancelled (last time it was planed with Don Dokken...) Since David Reece is reading (posting?) here (and you know I like your stuff) actually I was looking forward to that gig, I was

I lost interest in Kamelot when Roy was gone. The Steve Lee tragedy is a different case, but lost interest in Gotthard, too. It is not so easy with Maiden and Priest. While I like both Blazes and Rippers work OUTSIDE of the bands, their work with them was not the greatest. So, yes I agree.

... is really good, isn't that song here for example wonderful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDM-6haRWew or another great tune here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL-CdF6WYrs Just enjoy the brilliant guitar work! Also really like the singer! I think Mark would be proud! Of course I was sceptical first, as like most I was thinking Riot was over, but this band was great li

Guitarist, singer, producer and songwriter Bernie Versailles (Agent Steel, Fates Warning, Redemption, Engine) was in a coma after suffering an aneurysm two weeks back. I consider Bernie a friend since many years and those of you who have met him over the years know what a wonderful honest and calm and uncomplicated person he is. Here is a posting of Nick von Dyk from Redemption: https://w

Do you know who Laust Sonne is ? He's the drummer for one the best bands on the planet, f*cking D:A:D! So Laust is not only a mega-cool guy ( see, I am biased here...) but also an all around musician and he will be releasing his new single next month: http://vimeo.com/109027386 ( filmed in Berlin) Maybe a off topic ( Laust describes it himself as electro-pop combined with the mainstr

I really do like the band, 2 great albums and nice guys, but come on, first cancel in February 2014 ( with never a reason...) and now cancel AGAIN all four shows (Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, Munich) besides others is a little bit too much of a not so good treatment, guys... And then: NO INFO on their farcebook site at all about the cancellation of the whole tour and pretending all shows are sti

My observation over the last 10 years as far as my country: You just can't compare those (successful) Headliners like Hammerfall, Edguy to the melodic rock bands mentioned: When Hammerfall or Edguy to a tour (in Germany) they have 1000-2000 people per night, ok maybe 800 on a Monday night. When Eclipse or Work of Art would do a show here in Germany, they would maybe have 20 - 30 people p

Dave, there is a clip on YT Shotgun Messiah "Don't Care 'Bout Nothin'" live 92 ( without Zinny) with Tim singing, vocals suck, band is ok - bad quality though I am not posting it here. There is one with "Living without you", too. Never liked the second album, let alone the third. Have you ever checked out ZAN CLAN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZyhLd4hd1Q That

The orginal artwork without the bands name, when album covers still were really ART!!! Probably the "mother" of all Rodney Matthews covers along with this one, of course: How I miss those days just looking on the (foldout)-cover of a vinyl while listening to the music!
