I'm definitely purchasing this......might have to go the eBay route to get it, but that's okay. What I think is cool is that bands like OMD, Pet Shop Boys, Ultravox, New Order, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode are still putting out new music...and most of it is damn good! Also, if you're a synthpop fan...there is a website that caters to newer bands that you can look into. They also carry the ne

CCM.....I'm a HUGE New Wave guy...and I would venture to guess I am easily on par with your love of the style (probably moreso), etc. I mean, I STILL to this day, buy Synthpop cd's by current artists and old ones that are putting out new material (Visage, Ultravox, Pet Shop Boys, OMD, etc...etc..)...AND...I enjoy(ed) The Go Go's and Belinda's solo stuff (to a lesser degree but still a lot of clas

That's awesome, Steve! It reminds me a bit of the first time I was jammin' to the new band "Quiet Riot" in my room.....my mom walks by, sticks her head in my room (me fully expecting a "Turn that down!!")...and she goes "Who is that?"...I'm like a new band called Quiet Riot...and she goes...."I like that!!"....about fell off of my bed. Loved that..... Th

Night Ranger did play the song prior to meeting the contestants....and, one of them, Ed, did say that they were on his iPod.......but.....two out of the three couples were embarrassingly bad...one couple was 'alright'...but still not very good!! lol I liked the fact that the guys in Night Ranger were the judges too...so they got quite a bit of airtime! Very nice!!!

Because both bands are among my favorites, I would say Duran Duran's "Red Carpet Massacre" and Dokken's "Shadowlife"....was really hoping for some good material from them on these releases and was let down bigtime.....

Excellent band....their first release with Terri Nunn is a classic (they had a release prior to Terri). Not a bad tune on it.....Masquerade, S.E.X.,The Metro, etc....great stuff! The second release was good with Now It's My Turn, and No More Words...but not quite as good as their first, in my opinion. Subsequent to that, they faltered a bit....but...still enjoy them immensely! A classic Ne

He needs no 'credibitlity' from any of you.....if you want to be the jury and you don't like it, then WALK!! Talk about disrespect. That was an excellent interview....saw it when Stryper posted it on their facebook page today. Totally lookin' forward to Micheal Sweet's solo record...which, of the soundbytes I've heard, rocks big time...and has Tony Harnell on a track. Then, I think it's very cool that a new Stryper album is slated for next summer! And, yeah....I don't think I ever realized he was a guitar player. Probably bec
