Apparently died suddenly a few days ago on June 11th. With his brother Wayne taking his own life back in 2014, this effectively ends Magellan, one of the great prog bands that was out there not to mention the side project Explorer's Club which was basically an all star team project. The Ayreon before Ayreon, if you will. One makes prog music for the love not for the money so his family needs

Cool. I still have my old shirt's from Dan Firml's Harem Scarem forums fan club (and wow do I miss those forums) even if they've gotten a bit worn from a decade plus of use.

I'm going to buy it to see if it grows on me but so far none of the songs are grabbing me like the ones on the first cd did.

Ah Tower. I remember going to the one in NYC & raiding the import section. They regularly dropped prices on the imports & I found stuff like Demon Drive, Glory, Brazen Abbot, etc. I could drop $200 on 30-35 import cd's. Domestic was a whole different ball of wax. I had zero problem when cd's $11.99 (same for Virgin Megastore) but that fateful day that cd's got jacked up to $17.99, I ha

I'm a LOng Island, NY boy so I LOVES me some Zebra. Can't even count how many times I saw them live. 3.V is horrible underrated. Atlantic already had given up on them or 'You're Only Losing Your Heart' would have become a hit. The only single released with a video was 'You'll Never Know' iirc.

Only upside of his not breaking bigger in the 80's was he may not have made the decision to go the blues route & his blues albums are nothing short of amazing. Own every Moore cd & most DVD's & it's sad there will be nothing more. Was hoping there'd be some vault stuff on a box set but nothing except the Legacy 2CD set in 2010.

Good spot to mention Foreigner tours more often than not with no original members?

Thought Dann was on Here I Go Again. Coverdale will never let Sykes on stage anyway so it doesn't matter really.

Would be nice if he brought back people like Moody & Marsden, John Sykes, Steve Vai, Ian Paice, Neil Murray, etc for some songs during the final shows. David doing 'Walking in the shadows of the blues' with Moody & Marsden at his side one last time would be fantastic not to mention Sykes on 'Still of the night'.

Go with the first three. Don't bother with Buzz as it's just a Steve Plunkett solo cd. Get the 2 Missing Pieces cd's if you like the first three. No judgement on the new ep yet.

Like the band but hate the singer's voice. Think i'd have rather have had Neal Morse singing lead.

3/5's of GnR is not a reunion. It's a cash in. Well, all five reuniting would be a cash in as well but then it would be a true reunion.

I have always maintained Gary Cherone should have joined Queen instead of Van Halen. He was balls close to Freddie Mercury in the singing department (albeit with a bit more grit in his vocals). Only reason Gary was up for the VH job in the first place was Rush manager Ray Danniels was managing VH & Extreme & Extreme ended so why not get a guy already being managed by him the gig. Dann

Too much money on the table to pass it up, honestly. Sammy will probably demand Mike plays bass & gets equal pay this time around & the Van Halens (more Eddie then Alex) will cave. Don't think Alex ever had a problem with Sammy & Mike.

AKA the record Jack Blades makes believe doesn't exist! :D I thought it was a damn fine cd & liked NR as a trio. Gary Moon did a great job & Brad Gillis & Kelly Keagy top notch as always. Music Box was a killer track! Anyone else have any opinions on this underrated cd?
