Again, cancer takes another one…cranking some Fergie at home, one of my top 5 singers, a major influence on me. Will work in a nod to to his great talent on my vocal tracks tonight…he will forever inspire my spirit, musically and otherwise. He gave us a lot to listen to, so get to it!

Restless was a WS demo, and released as a TR song to fund more studio time.

Hey! Happy New Year!!! You're correct, somebody got ahold of some demos and released it as the 3rd WS album, artwork and all. "Tell Me Why" and "Everybody Wants What She's Got" were WS songs that made it onto the 1st Tattoo Rodeo record, "Restless heart" and "Fist Time's Forever" were shelved although Restless made it into the movie Kid. I think a 4 trac

Don't get me wrong, bands could and still can make a living while not being famous...it's just a different commitment level. Rick, Rich and I lived in Rich's dads house back in the day, working odd jobs and playing at night. I remember the guys in Rat living together to save money, Motley did it...it's another level of "Im gonna make it or die"! Look at Soto...hardest working guy in the

Great topic! Ok I'll bite... I've had a day job since I was 17. The only time I didn't was when White Sister opened for FM for a few weeks in 1987, and when Tattoo Rodeo toured with Bad Company and Damn Yankees in 1991...three months of livin the dream! 400 bucks a week plus 20 a day for food. We used to eat at the venues (5000-10000 seaters back then) and had drinks and cereal on the rider so

Awesome! Gotta love the business. Gary and I were contacted for an interview, we obviously declined...so they went for Giuffria. I've lost track of the re-releases now. It is what it is, but I don't have to like it! I have the 24 track master tapes, maybe Gary and I should do our own complete remix and sell it for charity...let them come after me! Maybe I'll just transfer the tapes to digit

So sad to hear about Andy, always loved his sound.Thought I'd share a little known White Sister/Andy story. When we were recording the first WS album, we had a mix of Don't Say That You're Mine that we liked, but the vocal was buried. Due to financial issues with the studio we recorded the first few songs at (don't ask) we couldn't get our hands on the master 24 track, only the 1/2 inch maste

Thank you! That means a lot. I've been struggling for most of this year finding my place in the music world, and understandably lost since Rick passed. It's moments like seeing that performance last night that remind me that music is in my blood and I should just roll with it. I just turned 50, and have decided to start recording everything I have in demo from, and to even release a few thi

Not a fan of the artists chopping the songs down for time purposes, but I guess they would need a week to play everything in full...I just really fall in love with music all over again when I hear something that moves me like that. Sketchy audio mix, non-perfect solos, who cares. The overall mood and feel makes up for that stuff. When that big choir came in, it was goosebumps for me. I love that

So great to hear him sing...what a voice! Definitely one of my all-time favorites. "Elaine" and Follow" are constantly playing in my car right now.
