Well done. And I'm a Man U and Rangers fan. So of course I'm a sore loser. :)

First album great, second album even better (and one I regularly go back to), third album piss poor, and latest a bit of a return to form but still nowhere near the heights of the second. IMHO, of course.

I know I'm a bit behind most people on here in picking these up, but bloody hell if these three aren't bloody fantastic rock albums Gene the Werewolf "Rock n roll Animal" Bonrud "Save Tomorrow" Lit "The View fom the Bottom" Funnily enough, the new Bon Jovi hasn't had much of a look in (despite being a damn sight better than I expected.....)

On second thoughts please please please please please let them give the job to Benitez. Would turn my tears of sadness re Fergie to tears of laughter.

Can't get very excited about this, i'm afraid. Felt it started to go downhill the last few years - had to force myself to keep watching the final season right to the bitter end. Hopefully I'm wrong tho - that first season was amazing.....

Agreed, WITS. Surely its about time we had a mature discussion of the merits of hair band music on here. Maybe you could start a Whitesnake thread, for example. :)

Comedy bronze, Ydde! Hey - maybe the mr.com fantasy league champion should get a shot at City. They'd probably do better than Mancini....

Both great albums, and the lyrics don't bother me (my current midlife crisis means I find it easy to regress back to my teenage years, when I found "She got the big guns, pointed at my heart.....Look at them big guns" spoke directly to me, and my love of,er, 'big guns'). If I had to choose, I'd go with Slave, for exactly the reasons Ramsay outlined above - perfect for the angry, hormon

Collywobbles confirmed. Amazing stuff - but I couldn't watch the whole way through. Also a bit offputting that the presenter was so excited by the thickness of his fingers........

I am gutted. Probably cause I am old enough to remember the days of Big Ron Atkinson. Moyes is probably best shout (sorry Rocknut). I actually kinda like Mourinho, but he's not a United manager. And none of Fergie's old boys - Bruce, Hughes, etc - are good enough. One of my 'pool supporting mates pointed out Benitez will be available. At which point I started hyperventilating.

Couldn't agree more re Slamer - Nowhere Land was my first proper introduction to him, and I was blown away. Little was I to know I'd been 'enjoying' him in my hair metal lovin' youth.....

Like all his stuff apart from last one which has few, if any, redeeming features. Totally agree re Jim Steinman's Bad For Good - heard it before most of the Meat albums and actually prefer it. Pandora's Box is also great. Would highly recommend both of them.

PS Have they ever played Raining in Baltimore live? Personal fave. Not on this list, and I seem to remember him getting annoyed with people requesting it in Belfast, saying they would never play it live!

Gutted I wasn't able to see them this time around - glad you all enjoyed them (whilst also hating you all just a little). Saw them donkeys ago in Belfast - must have been the August tour (supported by Cracker) - and they've remained one of my favourite bands ever since.......

Working my way through my large pile of albums that I've never listened to, and stuck in Creighton Doane's Learning More And More About Less and Less. Not what I expected at all - like the Posies humping Jellyfish (in fact there are a couple of tracks that could have come straight off Bellybutton). Very pleasantly surprised indeed....... http://www.haremscarem.net/index.php?view=discography&

Wow - some voice! I had thought I would never enjoy another cover of DSB but its actually pretty good. The Jackson stuff was okay - but the original song was actually the most impressive. Worth investigating further methinks....

It says at all that I got the new one weeks ago, and still haven't listened to it - unheard of for previous Jovi releases for me. It really boils down to The Circle, which I thought was dull, dull, dull. Although Slippery to Keep The Faith will always be the perfect Jovi for me, I've liked most of their stuff, so its not just that I long for a return to their glory days. I regularly listen to,

Cockroach is still my go to Danger Danger album - both versions are awesome. Screw It brings back lots of great memories - I was probably just at the right age (in terms of maturity, or lack of it...) for it. Took me ages to get the debut, and ages to get into it, whereas Revolve was pretty instant, but I've not played it as much as I maybe thought I would. The Laine stuff is (mostly) good but

Watched game on telly - and rejoiced greatly!! Still a bit gutted about Champions League exit (but, hey, at least we made the knockout stages...:)), and not convinced we will see any more European glory for a while, but I can still remember the days when we didn't win much, if anything, and certainly not league titles.......

Very enjoyable! I can struggle with non-English language lyrics but didn't bother me here. Liked the musicianship - just a good tune at the end of the day. Could see myself putting this on repeat. Nice one!

Yep - big fan of his podcasts. Talking cock is great but AIOTM still my favourite. And I still remember the glory days of Fist of Fun. Stuart Lee is a comic genius but Herring makes me laugh out loud more.

Wind of Change put me off Scorpions for years - only started to listen to their other stuff recently and I am really enjoying it. Just shows you can't judge a band by one piece of crap. I Remember You is as awesome now as it was back in the day.
