Saw them in Dublin and they were superb - one of the best gigs I have witnessed. Played vicar street which is a great venue and the crowd were well up for it creating a cracking atmosphere. Rob Thomas is a fantastic frontman and vocalist always engaged with crowd. So many tunes to pick from and they played about 10 tracks off north including 2 bonus tracks. North is definitely their weak

I have been to every firefest and the gig starts around twelve finishing about 10 pm. The ff crew are really efficient and the wait between bands is normally around twenty minutes. This does not leave a lot of time to get food during the day. After standing on your feet for a few hours and a few beers you get the munchies so you need to grab some food. This will mean missing all or part of

To be honest I have not really listened to any of gotthard albums since domino effect. The band did play a few songs from the new album and I thought they came across really well. I was very impressed with the new singer who in all honesty is not a million miles from Steve lee. The band have adopted a heavier sound but they put in a very energetic and polished performance which I really

I think the title of the song is "here's hoping it hurts". Came across really and I thought it ha a cool modern vibe to it. Danny described it as the band's hate song.

Made my annual pilgrimage to Firefest. Only caught the last couple of songs by ten due to a flight delay. Not really a fan but they got a great reception from the crowd. Tyketto headlined with the original lineup and put on a great show. Played three songs off the new album and they sounded great. Rest of the set was a mix of songs from strength in numbers and the classic debut. For me t

Yep seems to be the usual "too cool for school" saddo journalist with an axe to grind. They seem to be all too prevalent in the UK music press. Quite obvious he wasn't anywhere near the gig.

To me here and now is their weakest album in a few years but it still has great tracks. In fact "this means war" is one of my favourite Nickelback tracks. I am a fan so even their weakest album still streets ahead of most music out there lol.

Travelled over to Newcastle from Belfast for this gig and hands down one of the best gigs I have attended ever. I saw daughtry a few months ago in the US and was really impressed - a very tight professional outfit and they did not disappoint last night either. Great set list and the crowd seemed to really enjoy it. Nickelback get a hard time from many quarters probably because they are v

I was at the gig and although UC did not "bounce" around the stage there definitely was a lot of passion and first class musicianship on display. Marcie's voice was amazing and very few come close to that class. Youtube vids can be misleading as gig atmosphere and crowd reaction can never really be picked up plus the sound is always average at best. UC definitely were one of th

Totally agree with the previous posts about Kane's performance. I love the saints and sinners album and I had anticipated that it could have been one of the best sets as those songs were written to be played live. Kane has not played in years and it was plainly obvious from the lack of confidence and his inability to deal with the sound issues, Still the set had its moments especially i
