Listened to it in the store... its more melodic and more bombast than the ..in my opinion ..dissapointing Precious Metal. But still a way to go to reach Cartesian Dreams and the albums before. Not buying it now...probably later as I have everything of HoL

"The look is important! Nothing childish about that! Most Bands in the Mel Rock genre lack looks and image these days!" So... you listened to bands like Poison and Mortley Crue because of ...their look??? Come on, the presence on stage...ok, but the look doesnT matter. I love Bands like Grave Digger or Treat... but certanly not because of the look of their lead singer!! ;-) N

That's great. I still love to read your reviews also I have a little bit diffrent taste (a bit heavier ...Pretty Maids, Eclipse i.e, but also adore the new Care of Night... not so much stuff like Mecca, Magnum etc.) I asume that repeated review discussion got under your skin. I understand both sides: Want to read as many reviews as possible, thinks it was untill one/two years ago a major plu

I am not htat 100% sure that writing similar lines is a similar copyright issue as playing similar tunes. But maybe you are right... Nevertheless...this is a monster record, and the follow up was cool too (but by far not as good as the debut) Afterwards they vanished for 10+ years and came back a few years ago with a very dissapointing record. Havent heard of them since that

The release schedule was never up to date, but hey, I was always able to gather the dates from the news or, like now..thanks to adolfo, from other sources. But reviews aleays been cool to get a rough idea how it will sound

Agree ..Jorn is a great CD As far as Blind Guardian is concerned... way to go for a epic album. They are struggling hard to relive the class of their early CD'S. New one is better than their previous ones...but far from classic

Maybe... but in the end its about the song. And I don't like it! It is not that I want their 80's sound back (as good as it was) I.e. "Last look at eden" is a very good song, especially live. But this one is..boring?

Absolutley with you.. she has a good voice and the songs are good. Nothing special but entertaining. The looks...thats up to everyones taste... i think she is ok but her videos are not..lets say ...showing her best side. By the wy I think the same of Angelica (The murder of my sweet) who had a good debut

Same with me. Didn't liek their last two albums. Remeber seeing them live in Munich with HEAT (with the old singer) and thinking how much better and more professional The Poodles have been. Times changed...HEAT is releasing one great album after the other, have a great frontman and The Poodles somehow "lost" it. Its a pity...

Andrew Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Are You Ready To Rock was the band's 3rd album, > not first :) And their best ;-) But I am not sure if jamesrock meant "Are you ready to rock" when he mentioned their melodic debut. Because "The thruth and a little more" was really more AOR than the the last two albums. I like "Bleed

Allready the soundbytes here were great.... and even more is the complete album With all the (deserved) recognition bands like Work of Art, WET, Harem Scarem (last outputs not my cup of t

On the one side...oh god, Bonfire without Claus L. is just EZ Living. Ziller obviously founded and owns "Bonfire" but he was not in the band while they had their best years. On the other side...hey, what to loose. Bonfire wasn't hardly releasing in the last 10 years and if they did it was...well... weak!
