Just listened to the last album in full yesterday... Really has nothing to do with what made them, but hey, if they like playing this stuff... Doesn't do much for me though. I suggest you don't play it in your car stereo, I nearly fell asleep driving! Where is the rock ?! :-(

Here is my take on what music has really rocked my boat last year. Some stellar songs, mostly part of excellent albums (of which Dynazty's 'Sultans of Sin' has had the most airplay on my stereo)... 1. Circus Maximus - Last Goodbye 2. Dynazty - Land of Broken Dreams 3. Blessed by a broken heart - Shut up and Rock 4. H.E.A.T. - Breaking the Silence 5. Trail of Murder - Shades of Art 6.

'Blessed by a broken heart - Feel the Power' What a collection of in your face metal rocking tracks... A bit on the heavy side, but full of harmonies and riffs... Reminds me a bit of last year's 'The Magnificient' (but faster paced) which took me by surprise just the same. NB. The chorus on 'Shut up and rock' is probably the best I've heard last year. Wow...!

Just yesterday, i put this CD back on. And I was staggered by how good the song 'live without love'. The whole CD is brilliant but this song, I had really overlooked it back then. Huge power and drive in the guitar riffs... Are there any other recordings of this song or this the only one? Is there any particular background to this song? Cheers,

Note sure which version is best, Hardline (from the new album) or Philipp Bardowell...

Great show last night, these guys have been around a long time and it shows. And a kick-ass drummer in my opinion. So cool to see Fiona on stage again, felt like 'life on the moon' :-) NB: hey Tommy, having Vic Heart start the show with you in acoustic fashion was a sweet treat ! Thanks for making it happen. Sounded really cool. Good luck with Germany

Hi Tommy, Thanks for flagging, I might drive up and go to the show at Z7 on sunday. Shame Vic is not joining for this one, or is he? Can't wait for his album to come out. Any clues on dates? Thanks, Pascal.

Great year for new melodic rock music. Less so on ballads I think, but amongst them, these 10 songs are absolute gems. 1. Gone too soon - DAUGHTRY Being a dad, listening to those lyrics moves me to tears literally every time, as losing a child must be the most horrible thing to live through. Great voice delivering a very emotional song. (Unlike most here, I love his last album which has gr

I absolutely adore this album now....although I was disappointed on first listen. It's an absolute monster of a grower. Vocal performance is awesome. Granted, some songs should have been left off the album. But majority of the songs are absolutely brilliant. Top notch production also.
