Love it, I prefer it personally to Nightmare. But I'm just sort of getting into them. But yes, it sounds like their influences a lot more. I hear a lot of Metallica and Maiden myself. Sx

Don't own IV, but the 1st 2 got me into them, Pull is different from those as is Karma. No real order for me, depends on the mood I suppose as I dig 'em all. Looking forward to a new one! Sx

Last BJ cd I bought was HAND and haven't played it more than twice. I really liked Bounce except for the crappy ballads. But I just cannot get into them anymore, not my cup of tea. Good for them for carrying on etc but I haven't liked their direction in decades, but have liked some songs here and there. Just listening to samples this is a NO BUY for me.

I loved it the day I got it. I still rate H&D, Pyro, & Hysteria as my faves, but next on the list of studio albums is Slang. Great album, never really got the whole "They went grunge" thing. It's filled with R&B, Industrial sounds etc and ballads, but whatever "people" want to categorize it as. Dave

Rocknut wrote: I'd say the vast majority of comic/graphic novel buyers are mature males. LOL Can we change that to "older males", not sure mature would be the right word! KIDDING! ..and as far as DL not being Heavy Metal etc.. They're a rock band plain & simple. May have been harder edged early on, but even alot of heavy metal hard rock bands from way back are not really hard

Well...who knows, sounds like this co. wanted to do all of this and the band signed off on it, shouldn't affect them doing anything else. Not sure why this stuff now, but to each is their own, I'll check it out. Dave

Nice. Heck "Sign In Please" is a greatest hits alone, I love eery song, still play it to this day....2 cassettes and 1 cd later. Take No Prisoners was rushed and has about 4 standouts, nothing really that stinks too bad, Loud & Clear was my 2nd favorite. Dave

Bad news, American actress/singer Brittany Murphy has reportedly died of a heart attack whilst at home with her husband today, aged just 32. That's no age to go, and she was a very talented actress and singer... what a great shame. RIP Shocking and very sad. Dave

Should that be top "selling" album of the decade? Sales doesn't = quality, we all on this board know that! I love these music awards, especially the ones based on sales, like the artists don't know who is about to win etc... Again, awards don't really = quality! Dave

New school: Dixie Chicks. Fuck with me and I'll give you the middle finger. Dixie Chicks "new School" does this fool know how long ago the Chicks did that? BJ may have had 3+ cd's out since then. I can't even tell you at this point where the Dicie Chicks went... This article may havea couple of weak points, but comparing JM and JBJ is apples to oranges. Dave

...I'm going to be nice and just say I turned it off. Whatever happened to just going out and rockin'? Everyone tries to out do the other, it's more about the theatrical production and how far they can push boundaries rather than music....That freak parade was definetly, NOT for my entertainment. dave

One of my favorite bands at the time Play Deep and Bangin' came out. Sort of fell off my radar a bit since....I've got Rockeye, Extra Innings & Playing the Field as well...But nothing is as good as Play Deep Side note. I recall them opening up for Night Ranger on the Big Life tour, 2 of my favorites and I couldn't make the show when i came around, seems it was on the 4th of July. Damn! Da

I've liked Nickelback since they came out with Silver Side Up. When I heard that Mutt was producing I wasn't so sure about that direction, but it has given me renewed hope that Mutt still has some magic left. Loved it when he teamed up with Shania, but I utterly cannot stand the last cd of hers that they did, UP! Besides the obvious Mutt trademarks on Dark Horse, it's the way the album comes th
