Just wait til November when stores across the US will have people camping out for days for the chance to riot/beat each other up for some cheap merchandise all in the spirit of Christmas "deals".

Going to see them tomorrow night at Elgin Ribfest. Can't wait as it's been far too long since the last time. Looking forward to hearing some of the new material. I know they've been working on a new "30 songs in 30 minutes" medley. Those are always great.

I guess that old saying, "I wouldn't cross the street to see >insert band name here<!" holds true as Tateryche is playing a festival next month at Rockford Speedway. It's about a five minute walk from my house and I couldn't be less interested in going.

I'm enjoying the hell out of it right now. I want to preorder the CD/DVD set from Amazon since I have Prime and would receive it on release day, but they still don't have it listed yet. Well, other than an imported listing for $50.16. Meanwhile, Best Buy has it on their site for $16.99 but no free shipping, etc. Might just see if my local BB store has any in stock on Tuesday and just pick

I'm pretty bummed that Steel Panther isn't coming anywhere near me on this leg of the tour. Caught them in December in Chicago and it was great fun.

Actually, Bandana Bert is touring with his solo band this summer. They're playing a small festival near me in Rockton, IL on 06/19 with Wayland as the opening band. http://www.oldsettlersdays.com/2014_musicalacts.html

In a similar vein: I walk these streets, a loaded six-string on my back. I play for keeps, 'cause I might not make it back.

I did the same kind of thing. Bought it and on first listen it was so different than what I was expecting, I didn't care for it. After a while I gave it a second shot with a more objective mindset and it was in my CD rotation for a long time. I was going through a rough patch at the time and could relate to the dark mood/tone of the disc. Still enjoy it a lot.

From Rich Hofherr's Facebook this morning: Richard Hofherr It has been agreed by the entire band that we must part ways with Anthony Fedorov immediately. We do not plan on canceling any shows and we will be working very hard to maintain an excellent show for you until we can hire a permanent replacement. In the meantime, Keith Semple will return as lead vocalist for most of our shows thru t

Agreed - Prime is well worth the price. Our local sales tax is quite high (8.25%) and that savings alone more than pays for the annual Prime fee.

According to Wikipedia: "I Wanna Go Back" is a 1984 song by American rock band Billy Satellite, written by band members Monty Byrom, Danny Chauncey, and Ira Walker, that achieved major popularity when recorded by Eddie Money in 1986. Another version was recorded by former Santana/Journey keyboardist/singer Gregg Rolie for his self-titled 1985 debut solo album. Billy Satellite ver

I got the Dan Reed vibe as well. Nothing groundbreaking lyric-wise, but a good hook and I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more.

I was just talking about this with a friend the other day. We've got two classic rock stations in my area. One of them (The Eagle) has the standard playlist of one or two songs from each band that they "rotate" and play constantly. I don't remember the last time I happened on that station and heard a Van Halen song that wasn't either Jump or You Really Got Me. The other (The Hog)
