She took a lightsaber to my heart, Then she picked my brain with a pocket knife. She said, "Say what's on your mind." So I said, "I'm kinda hungry and you ain't my type." She said I was cold as Hell, but Hell's not cold I know, I know 'Cause I've been there for the last half hour or so and the devil says it never snows...

So far this year I've only caught local bands at bars and festivals. Going to see Steel Panther twice the first week of December - VIP in Chicago and then the annual WJJO Winter "Yellow Snow Ball" in Madison.

I tried getting tickets to the annual Cabo Wabo concerts in October. They used to be free - you just showed up in Cabo San Lucas and waited in line at the club. Now they've got this awful online lottery system in place and I didn't get selected for any of the shows despite three drawings being done. Too many "tire kickers" entering the contest without any real means/intent of going

I'm quite fond of Motley Crue's "You're All I Need". Would probably have been a hit had MTV not refused to air it.

I'm from Rockford so I've seen all the Cheap Trick guys around town a lot. I worked in a CD shop that sold imports/bootlegs from 1990-93. Bun E. Carlos came in a lot and was always a cool guy. Bought tons of Beatles and Jeff Beck bootlegs from us. Rick Nielsen's always approachable, too. The other two no longer live here so I haven't seen either since the early nineties. By far, my favo

I picked up a copy when I worked in a CD shop that bought new/used discs back in the early nineties. Only paid a buck or two for it. Pretty amazed at how valuable it has become.

No mentions of "Silver"? I was at that show and it was stellar. 25 years of their best material in one night with some great guest musicians, a string quartet, and choir.

I should have gone to that. Dekalb's just a stone's throw from me but I had some family thing going on that day. A friend of mine went and said he was spectacular and the YouTube clips confirm that.

Bret Michaels last summer. Don't bounce onstage with the, "We're in no hurry tonight! We'll be partyin' and rockin' allllll night!" schtick and then play for one hour as a festival headliner. I've seen Poison several times in the past and always had a great time. Bret solo? Not so much.
