Sounded great to me. What a great combo of bands for that show - jealous!

Not sure what the wispy weak is in reference to, but will respectfully disagree - sounds great to me. Just based on these first two songs I like it far better than the first album.

I love these kind of undiscovered music finds. I had never heard of Arti Tisi and the first few samples were enough to get me to order. Can't wait!

For me the Eclipse is a wonderful 90-92, but short of the near 100 I would give Armageddonize. Still need to play it another 10-20 times to lock in the final opinion. One Desire is terrific as well, though I am biased in that I loved the vocalist from Sturm und Drang. Early impression is 88-90.

Thanks for sharing, just checked it out and really enjoying it so far - enough to hit the order button for $12.34 (funny price) at Amazon. Still missing Anberlin though....

Have been playing this constantly since it arrived on Friday. Feel the same way as I did when the Defiants CD landed - just an immediate connection with the whole album. No songs to be skipped and plenty of singing along by the 2nd pass. I don't hear the sonics issue, though that could be that I am and have been listening at immense volumes. :) Going to be tough to dislodge from the Album of

Agree with that list except Clockwork Angels - a top 3 Rush album for me personally.

Loving this and yes, it is totally the standard Eclipse sound, but that is just fine with me. Can't wait for the full album!

Pretty good. I think HOL v2 is pretty predictable by this point in that you know what your going to get, but I like what James and co. come up with nearly every time.

I was wondering if it was just me - a whole lot of awful with that band.

Loving that enough to preorder based on this one song. Yes, I wish the drums were a bit more up front, but nowhere near a deal breaker for me

(Puts helmet on) I think Kip Winger is criminally underrated as a vocalist. There, I've said it. :) I would also add to the previously mentions: Steve Lukather and Michael Sadler.

Thought Face the World was just good, but really loved Humanize Me. It would not be out of place on Nordic Union II.

I have them all around my house, mainly for home automation purposes, but for light duty listening in the bedrooms or kitchen while cooking/eating, they work very well. The shape/design allows them to blend in and be placed in many different spots. Sure for "loud" listening I'll still fire up my Sonos Play 5's, but I think the Echo's are absolutely fine for their purpose.

Just terrific. Going to preorder this right away. Still remember Steve Walsh doing a handstand on the piano while wearing a white kimono-type outfit during the Audio Visions tour date I saw them on (with 38 Special co-headling). The 2nd concert I ever attended...you never forget your 2nd. :)

While excellent overall, it is definitely missing the Slamer touch to the sound. It's a 90 for me vs. 95 for R&R.

This is why I love reading this board - I would have never come across these guys and just listening to the first song on Spotify I agree with Scott's description completely. Thanks!

My conclusion was the same as Andrew's when I listened to the samples a couple of weeks ago - liked the music, but the guy can't sing very well.

Big day for new releases tomorrow - Treat, Defiants and Eclipse Deluxe en route from Amazon and Chris Ousey from NEH. Can't wait to listen to them all and am looking forward to Andrew's reviews.
