Does anyone know when Fran Cosmo's solo CD will be released? The last I heard was that it was scheduled for this Fall on Frontiers, but I haven't seen or heard anything lately. Thanks

Does anyone have any info on what Gary Moon is up to these days? Not much info on his website. I really liked his work on Brad Gillis' solo CD and with Brad and Kelly on the Feeding Off the Mojo CD.

Anyone have any info on when Jack Blades new solo CD will be out? The last I heard was that it was finished and waiting release. The new Night Ranger CD is my CD of the year and I can't wait to hear Jack's new release.

Shame, 9 years without his wailing would have been preferable

Hahahaha! I've never seen that footage. How shit is that? Vocals uselessly flat and out of tune. Thats more than likely what is coming off the monitor feed from their instruments/vocals, not the full out-front sound with all the embellishments. If I was DL I'd be mortally embarrassed to let anyone hear such a substandard live sound, how that was made public I'll never know

Get real Ken. At Download, they were never near enough to their mics on so many occasions it was laughable. They created a monster with Lange that could not be reproduced live with a great deal of help. Christ, Journey use flown in BVs and they are 100 times the players and singers that DL are.

Lol, you must have Van Goghs ear for music then if you can't hear and see whats in front of you. Contrast Def Leppard with Black Country Communion whose gig I saw at Wolverhampton: What you saw was what you got. Fantastic. End of. My idea of a good gig is not the Madonna/Kylie school of mime that the Leps adopt. I like to see the musicians sing and play what they recorded...is that too much t

Why bother? I saw them at Download in 08 and I'd estimate 60% of it is pre-recorded. Solos are live, some of Elliott is live (the blabber in between songs lol), some rhythm guitar, most of the basic drum track is live but you can hear that what is emitting from the PA is certainly not the sum of what the band are doing. There were lavish backing vocals appearing when Sav and Collen were no where

Surprised they let JLB sing on this, kind of exposes Eden's vocal for what it is....

Shirley is vastly overrated IMO. As has been said - muddy about covers it. Black Country Communion is a dreadful production job. Live they were great, Shirley didn't catch any of that. The worst bottom end on a recording for a long time.

Unless it's been covered already, they were fantastic on their debut live appearance. Great dynamic from them as a 'band', seems to have reined in Glenns more excessive idiosycracies. Great playing from them all especially Bonamassa who sang some as well. The material from the album worked well and 'Burn' as encore suitably brilliant. If they can all continue to rub along well on this evidence th

Interesting, I was there too. Good sound, vocals were not loud enough until way through the set. Glenn definitely had a cold (as he said) and held back a little from normal. Great guitarist, good sound, tasteful. Set list was a little puzzling. Lots of his solo stuff and although I like some of it, the songs are quite unmelodic. One Hughes-Thrall (Muscle & Blood) and the ubiquitous 'Burn' fo

I'm in a similar situation Niv, in that I need to have 2 iphones using the same itunes programme. On my PC laptop I'm told itunes for PC will only service one ipod or iphone at a time but on the Apple Mac, multiple users can use itunes...could be completely wrong but I'm after similar info

No, lol I have no mortgage and two kids! Seriously. Unruly, badly behaved kids are down to bad parents mainly. That's the cancer that has spread through this country since the late 70s/early 80s. Those that were 'kids' then are now the cretins who have their own children with no sense of responsibility thinking it is their divine right, and actually our (the taxpayers) responsibility to fund the

Down to Earth still does it for me. Will never forget Don Airey opening their headlining set with the Gustav Holst-inspired intro to 'Eyes of the World' at the very first Monsters of Rock in 1980 , as a wide eyed 17-year old it was bloody marvellous!

You're right Niv, I could never get beyond that. They all looked the same, all sounded the same and were fully interchangable, wigs and socks stuffed down their spandex et al! No wonder they were wiped out like the dinosoars. Is anyone really going to put the bunting out to celebrate QR's reformation? They scored a one off hit with a splendid Noddy & Jim track, nothing of their own...! Ther
