I'll wait until further samples are released before I come to a conclusion. However, Jeff did warn everyone that the next release would be heavier than Damage Control, so I can't say I was taken by surprise

My response: You checked off 46 out of 100 on this list! You’re a major music nerd, and most people in your life consider you to be an expert. You’re very committed, but there’s some lines you don’t cross.

He's become a bit of a greedy, ungrateful shit really. He clearly failed to learn his lesson from the last attempt. Come back when you have something decent to offer.

Yes, I am aware of all the typical avenues. However, I'd prefer to own them in their original format, plus see that the artist is rewarded for the purchase. I suppose I might be my own worst enemy because of that, but the labels aren't doing themselves any favours by failing to provide an official release of some kind.

I know it's a pretty common problem with the music we listen to here, but for those that are relatively new to this genre, trying to get old, classic albums can be a bit of a nightmare. I am all for paying for albums, as I have always done, but if the album is long since deleted in the physical form and unavailable in the MP3 format, how do record companies expect us to buy what we want and co

I've only just got 'round to sitting at my computer since last night's gig at Manchester, but just thought I'd share what I can remember of each group's setlist. FM: (can't quite remember the order) Tough Love I Belong To The Night That Girl Crosstown Train (I'm sure Terry K would be happy to know that) Burning My Heart Down Europe: (this is just about the whole setlist, as I can re

In comparison, I think Loud Lion comes a lot closer to the sound of DL than Grand Design. I listened to GD's second album twice and gave up, but I've been anticipating the LL release ever since I saw the Hill Have Eyes 2. Their song over the end credits was the best part of an otherwise forgettable film.

Hi, me and the wife are going to see these three bands tomorrow night, but it's our first time at the Apollo. I have two questions if anyone can help. Thanks in advance. 1. Are there any decent, possibly rock-orientated pubs near the venue? and 2. Queue-wise, what's the latest we can arrive at the venue without missing FM's set? I believe they start at 7:30pm. Thanks again, Ash

I like it, but the constant reminder of the Britney factor in the song is a little offputting. Still buying it when it comes out anyway, so they haven't lost a customer in me regardless

The Amazon Auto-Rip thing is tempting, but a saving of £10 is hard to turn down. I'll head over there now. Thanks both

I always pre-order FM's releases for a reasonable price on Amazon. However, for reasons unknown, the EP is a whopping £17.99 on Amazon! Gonna wait a little while and see if the price comes down...

I've only been interested in the occasional track by Nightwish, but this is very nice indeed... Sorry if this has been discussed, but I hadn't noticed this song until today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWwSVOo5K_k

I was a fan as a teen and the vast majority of their core nine members are anything but gangsta rap. Creative wordplay, unique (at the time) sound and no calling women 'hoes' etc, the pointless subject matter of which I personally loathe.

Ed Sheeran is okay, bought one MP3 a few years ago, but rarely listen to it. Anyway, you need to stop playing the victim. I'd like to think you're a grown man.

Yeah, I watched it whilst in work this morning. Usual subject matter, but still good to see them getting national exposure at this stage of their career

They played quite a few from 'Metropolis' on the tour for that album, but far fewer since. Checked more recent setlists online and there's hardly any Rockville tracks, despite airplay on BBC Radio 2. Seeing them support Europe & Foreigner in a few weeks, doubt they'll try then either. In all fairness though, they can play whatever they want and I'll be satisfied

I'll look forward to their take on it, if it's anything like their past covers, it should be great. Not to discredit their own material, which is so good I bought them twice!

I'm fine with the production and I agree that 'Trial By Fire' sounded magnificent. However, didn't Neal Schon and Kevin have a dispute over the production on the 'Eclipse' album?

I used to care a lot about lyrics, probably to the point of being more than a little pretentious. However, nowadays I just enjoy what I hear and keep listening, without worrying about whether the artist is being 'clever' or trying to change the world
