Keith Moon: About a boy -> the real "Diary Of A Madman" if there ever was one. Superdetailed and a hell of ride! Lemmys "White Line Fever" is the funniest, "Phil Lynott: The Rocker" the saddest biography i've read so far. Both books are great!

I go with Rockhead. Please give us a remastered deluxe edition of "On through the night" and "High 'n' dry" with the first ep, some b-sides and probably a live concert (a la Pyromania deluxe) etc. Thanks!

I really really don't like this album at all. That said I absolutely love everything from their debut up until Hysteria and think that Adrenalize, Retroactive and Euphoria are very fine albums, too. Pyromania is probably my favourite album ever. But this one is piss poor housewife music to me. Sorry!

Very honest review I have to say. But I agree with Ramsay: 65 % for what? The past glory of Boston? After reading the review, 40 % would be more fitting...

After a few weeks "living" with the new Boston album, what's your conclusion? I'm pretty curious to say the least. If you're not allowed to give a critical preview on your homepage at this time, just say it.

Fair enough, Andrew! Thanks for your honest und informative answer :-) And thanks that you didn't take my statement wrong. Hope you can make your final opinion of the album soon, because I'm really interested in that review. And I'm obviously not the only one.

At the moment, Andrew is the only person here who heard the album in full, not only the samples. The question is: Is he "allowed" to make an honest review of it - even if it's bad? There's an article (advert/promo) on the front page and Frontiers probably pays some money for it. In that case the owner of this homepage simply cannot give a bad review for "economical" reasons

And what is your opinion? The samples on Amazon do not sound promising to say the least...

I thought Load had some decent tunes, but imo Reload was absolute garbage apart from 1 or 2 tracks. Boring as hell! St. Anger had some good aggressive edge and faster tunes, but the production was horrible. Even the live bonus dvd (where they played the whole album) has a better sound. Bob Rock my ass. Death Magnetic is very very good imo. Yes, it's too loud sonicwise, but some tracks like My Apo

I've read so much Metallica interviews recently, in which everybody from the band says that a new album won't arrive until 2015, that they have 10.000 riffs, that they are just jamming around a view ideas etc. It's all fake imo! I think they do it so exessively that the new album is likely to show up very very soon. Probably before christmas. For those how care about Metallica - your opions?

For me, "X" was an extremly boring album and "Songs from the Sparkle lounge" wasn't that much better. Way too lightweight and songs with no punch at all. Just too far removed from their Pyromania heydays. Of their newer albums I only liked Euphoria.

What classic band makes 'quick' albums these days??? Metallica? Priest? Journey? I mean, 2-4 years for an album is not fast. And quality hasn't always to do with fast or not fast. In the 80s Maiden released a world class album almost every year. Nowadays bands like Def Leppard need a lot of years to make a (imo) bad album like 'x'.

Thought the same: The three bonus tracks on the deluxe edition are better than many tracks on the regular album imo. Had the same problem with the new Aerosmith cd btw.

The ca. 5000 empty places were most likely in the VIP section. The center section of stadium always have vast free spaces due to safety reasons. But you are right - they could have allowed a few thousand people more in that area easily. I think the song selection was quite unique and diverce. Some songs good, some songs better. I was pretty stunned that he played Spirit in the night & The

Daredevil, the arena was absolutely sold out to my knowledge. A friend of mine couldn't get a "normal" ticket anymore. The free spaces on the right side were mostly VIP tickets, which were obviously not used. The free spaces in the center were due to safety restrictions. The sound was alright for me, but why for gods sake did they put on the full stadium lights almost an hour before

I saw Springsteen last night in Hannover and the way he treated his fans was just awesome. The dancing routine during "Dancing in the dark" with a woman from the audience. Then he took another girl on stage in that song and let her play the acoustic guitar. In another song, he took a young boy from the audience on stage and let him sing. Apart from that he went to the front rows about a

Sonically Death Magnetic sounds way better than And justice... and St. Anger imo. In general: Just listen to the recent Anthrax album and hear, what a metal/thrash production should sound like: Crisp and powerful!

Joe Bonamassa may be a good guitarist, but he's overrated to death. And putting out circa three albums a year doesn't make things any better! Can't stand this guy for some reason.
