Got to see Sweet & Co for the 1st time, and BOY what a fantastic show. Oz Fox is not only an underrated guitarist, but also an underrated vocalist. The sound of him and Michael harmonizing (both vocally and with guitars) is something to see. And, everyone knows how much I question tapes, etc. It sounded LEGIT! However, the show BARELY clocked in at 90 minutes. Does Stryper usually play for

Agreed about Oz. You can tell, easily, on the Youtube videos that Oz is a monster vocalist. Put him with Mike Sweet and what a combo you get!

Last year's NYC show was fantastic. It was probably one of the longest, most complete shows I have seen from them, in a while. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/night-ranger/2013/bb-king-blues-club-and-grill-new-york-ny-43c6f35f.html

I love that on the Amazon.com page, you can put the mouse over the artwork and zoom in. How cool is it that they put the Seven artwork on the cover of the newspaper (in the water)? Also, is that satellite, on the left, supposed to be a Dawn Patrol reference? http://www.amazon.com/High-Road-DVD-Deluxe-Edition/dp/B00IZDWZTS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1397131989&sr=8-1&keywords=night+r

Thank God! I'm still trying to tweak my ear to truly know when it is being used, and not.

Here is your 1st taste of what's to come. High Road sounds different, and Knock Knock seems KILLER! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ51eY23DAE#t=123 (Please tell me that that's NOT autotune on Jack's voice, in the beginning.)

I had heard that they did (and on some videos, online, it is obvious that they are there.) However, in recent videos, it really sounds like just 3 voices, with no extra voices/layering. Just wondering...

He is. Foreigner's Twitter/Facebook have been posting picks of him around Europe. Plus, the told the story of some sudden root canal issue he had, before a show! (Like he needs more health issues.)

You gotta hand it to Luke! All one needs to do, it seems, is mention him in a tweet like this, and he'll happily responds. The best conclusion I can come up with...I have been baffled for so long, because they deliberately wanted it to have a broad meaning. LOL!

HAHAHA! I forgot about that old post. I guess some people spend years trying to figure out the truth of the Bermuda Triangle, and others spend that time on song meanings! LOL!

Do any of you have a particular song that you genuinely love, but you can't seem to figure out what it's all about, nonetheless? For me it's Toto's "Home Of The Brave". I can pick up the pro-American people vibe & I know it was written/recorded in the later 80s. BUT who are the "boys" at the beginning? Soldiers? Everyday people? Youth? What is at stake, there? A war

Does anyone know why Keith Carlock will not be touring with the guys? Wasn't he announced as "the new drummer"? Steely Dan commitments? Don't get me wrong. I am still fired up to go, and Joe Vana has me really interested with his "Porcaro groove machine" comment. Just wonderin'!

I KNOW! I am going to Jones Beach, and thought the same thing. Granted, I have seen both KISS & Def Lep, at the same venue, as headliners & co-headliners. All of those times I spent less, for better seats. For some reason, they are really banking on this particular pairing.

I got to meet a bunch of guys, through contacts I made while at my college radio station: Troy Lucketts (Tesla), Foreigner, REO (minus Cronin), Mr. Big ALL were cool people. Also, I stood by the buses after a Styx show and Gowan was incredibly cool. Rip on him all you wants, but the guy is super nice. The only negative experiences I had was with Meat Loaf (all of the band said he'd be out, and

Is Night Ranger still a part of the KISS/Def Lep tour? There was NO mention of them, AT ALL, during the press conference, nor any of the write-ups.

I will certainly be going to this show, and I am anxious to hear about the military tie-in. However, we all must be careful when we hear BIG ANNOUNCEMENT & KISS in the same thought. Gene LOVES his marketing & brand, so everything is a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Oh, I have seen that acoustic show. And, yes, it is mighty impressive. NO doubting the talent in the band, AT ALL. I was just wondering if some of the little nuances, like screams were "augmented". I guess, now that I look into it more, that it's unlikely. But, some of Eric's performances can confuse you.

I'm glad to hear that they will be back. About the vocals, the backing vocals to indeed sound legit, but is there a chance the screams can be canned? Eric sounds EXACTLY the same, time and time again, in that "break-down" section (OOWW! It's our time now...)

Has anyone heard anything about Mr. Big? Will there be any more touring or an album? What If was fantastic & the reunion tour was kick-ass. I'd love to see them again! Also, hasn't Billy Sheehan (or perhaps some of the other band members) commented that Mr. Big was never a band to use tapes/tracked backing vocals? I thought I heard Billy say this on Eddie Trunk, and how no one ever beli

Were any of you Long Islanders at the show, 2 years ago, where Bruno's son kept imitating Ted & stealing the show? It was HYSTERICAL and one of my favorite concert moments!

I actually got to hear the song last week! (My friend at work works with a military organization & helped connect the org & Mark.) As an 80s rock fan, I am proud of Mark for sticking to his guns and doing like he always has.rather than try to get all modern, etc. BRAVO MARK!

Not sure how close any of you are to Long Island, but Revolution LI, a nice small venue, just announced a August 30th show, WITH KASEY & ANDY! It's being billed as the ONLY U.S. appearance of the original lineup! https://www.facebook.com/events/1419655548285528/

Yes, it was certainly a great show. Although, I often had trouble staying awake for all of the episodes! HAHAHA! Not because it was bad, but because those hour-long, deep drama HBO shows take a lot out of you! To be honest, I did expect a little more action, going in. I was hoping to see somewhat of a network cop show, with HBO style language & graphic content. Regardless, great show.

Did they pile the autotune on Joe's voice, like they did on Bobby's in 2007? One of the main reasons I ask is that some months ago I texted Luke and mentioned stuff like that being used on the DVD. I deliberately kept it vague (I know that stuff is prevalent all over music) and tweeted "PLEASE do me a favor: don't pile on the autotune for the release. No Need!" He actually responded,

YEA! That was pretty solid. It's amazing how much Dhani looks & sounds like his old man. I was a little bummed, though, that Jeff Lynne was autotuned (or so it sounded like to me). But, what do you expect from a studio virtuoso/perfectionist type, I guess.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-vXEVCFldM When the vocals 1st come in, is that actually autotune on their voices or just a vocal effect? It sure has that metallic, autotune sound, but can't you hear some of that "gradual sweeping from note-to-note" that autotune would usually prevent?

AGREED! I got to see their show at BB King's in NYC, this past August, from RIGHT AT THE STAGE. Kelly's drums were right to my right (I could touch them), and Brad spent most the night right in front of my area.
