YES, for the most part, I agree. BUT, I think one thing needs to accounted for: AGE! Sure, no one compares to Lou, singing Foreigner songs. But, in 2014, does Lou even compare to the Lou we know and love? These songs are well documented, from a particular period of time; one that can be copied closely, but not fully, even by those who created the music.

Am I the only one who does NOT have a problem with the artwork? I feel like most of the Mr. Big albums had ridiculous, random artwork. It just seems to follow that trend.

Is that autotune on that one, quick "It's gonna be fine" line? Just wondering. Clearly it's a quick, artistic moment...but it had me saying "WHAT!?!?!"

For those interested, there are 90 sec samples. for ALL of the songs, on the iTunes JAPAN store. (To get to that, go ALL THE WAY down to the bottom of the screen, once you're in iTunes. You'll see a circular "flag", which represents the country who's store you're CURRENTLY in. Click that, and select Japan's flag from the list. Then search as normal.)

I have it. Will I get kicked off/banned from this site, Andrew, if I post a private link, for everyone? HAHAHA! Ultimately, the song is solid. Not as good as some of the recent others, but the chorus is what really sells it (reminds me of Call Me from the recent Nelson album.)

Woman In Black is a FANTASTIC song (kinda reminds me of Loverboy)! Break It Up is also great! Now they just need to add Don't Let Go & I'll be thrilled.

I always tell people that if Justin Bieber sang Danger Danger's "Crazy Nites", with a bit of autotune, I think it could go somewhere on the charts.

Musically it kicks ass. Also, Sweet's voice sounds KILLER! BUT...the lyrics and the melody seem really lacking to me.

Just trying to refine my ear, in this over-technological, musical world. Are they ACTUALLY using autotune on CLAPTON now, or is that just a voice doubling effect? (I'm thinking the latter, but....) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-n0c_B5RMY

I hope they find some little-known/unknown guitarist, who knows of all the tricks that Jeff Watson integrated into Night Ranger's sound. That is why Joel was so good. I would not be surprised if they start looking through the World Stage or Scrap Metal guys, like they did when they found Joel. (Howie Simon perhaps?)

After staying quiet on Twitter, for a while, Billy Sheehan JUST gave a lot of information about the new album/Pat's situation.... "I've been waiting for the right time to post about the new Mr Big album and tour. Been an emotional situation of course, but things are ok." "As you may have heard--our drummer Pat has Parkinson's disease and couldn't play drums on the record.

I know Eric's voice has changed/aged over the years, but I seems odd with him singing so much in his lower register. Still it's a solid song. However, is it just my ears or does it seem like the bass totally drops out, when we get to the solo?

Last night was the night many had been waiting for: the night Danger Danger's classic lineup finally reunited & performed together, again, for the 1st time since 1992. Since I live a half hour away from the venue, I was proudly there, right at the stage. How was the show? FANTASTIC! The vibe was very much like a high school reunion, where an infamous group of buddies finally reunited.

When's the Mr. Big Single going to be released? Were't they saying we'd get one at the end of the summer?

I WAS at the show. Cooper was (and always is) THE MAN! Pure entertainment & rockin' credibility STILL! No tracks. No BS. Just pure ALICE! Motley was a SOLID SHOW! I had seen them 3 times prior, so I kinda knew what I was getting into. I wouldn't say Vince was TERRIBLE, but he definitely was his typical, struggling self, that we've come to know in recent years. Notably Vince struggled A

Since Matt Starr is the "new" Mr. Big drummer, does that mean he'll be handling Pat's vocal parts as well? The more I hear of their live performances, the more I realize how important his voice is to their sound. Is there a chance that Pat will join the guys, to handle vocals?

I see what you mean. But you don't think that the chorus, in particular, sounds "heavily backed/tracked?"

Something sounds weird about this performance. Is it likely just a lot of compression on the band, as a whole, or (I hate to say it) a lot of tracks going on? While I have questioned, in the past, their use of tapes, I have come to think that those claims were false. But I can't pinpoint what's going on here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SP-t9O3ewe8 (YES. I know that YouTube can ofte

They's be A LOT BETTER, in my mind, if so much of their show was not canned. They're better than that, clearly.

I wanted to go to that show, but I had other commitments. And, yes, the free shows they host in that park are excellent. I plan on going to Starship & BOC. Actually, I was just there last night for a killer Billy Joel cover band, Big Shot. (The lead singer is the "new guy" in Billy's band, Mike DelGuidice.)

That is horrible. I had the pleasure of not only interviewing Pat, while at college radio, but also meeting him & the rest of the band. INCREDIBLY genuine & nice guy. (I remember him talking about his memories of playing Radio City Music Hall with Belinda Carlisle.) Needless to say, this hits home a little more, since I had a few, personal experiences with him. I was having an argument with co-workers, about who would CURRENTLY, be the bigger band: Night Ranger or Damn Yankees. I say Night Ranger, for certain. They've had hits that were just as noticeable, plus they have been active & visible for a lot longer. Damn Yankees was VERY brief. So, if you have random people a choice between Night Ranger or Dan Yankees?

That's interesting. Kelly was having monitor issues in NYC, too. (I know it because Brad yelled out to someone up front, "He can't hear himself!") I thought they would have worked it out by now. Any special songs (Night Ranger, Penny, etc?)

Just saw the Night Ranger guys, in NYC, at B.B. King's Club. If you have never been there, it's a rather small club, and the people stand right at the stage. Well the NR guys feed off of this immensely, and the past 2 years have given mindbogglingly good shows. The audience interaction is at and all time high, while the musicianship remains. (Brad was constantly an arms-reach from my area, yel
