I wouldn't even give HMV a penny. Go with the indies such as ST Records ,NEH, AOR Heavan or even amazon itunes etc.. They hold good stock and ask a fair price. When we (Dante Fox) released our last album "Under the seven kies"through frontiers HWV in Merry Hill ( big store on our home town) had ONE copy of the album and it was £17.99 - what a rip off no wonder they went under......

Thanks mate, We set out to make that album "Under The Seven Skie" capture the way the band sounds live and really hone in on the individual performances and I think we achieved it.Powerful classic rock played without scarificing the harmony vocals and hooks and recorded well. Having a month in a really good studio certainly helped (instead of home pc) and because we intially finan

What a great job Robin does on this song from the Impulsia project. She's got such a powerful, expressive voice and it gets captured perfectly on this. The rest of the album is very good as well but this song just blew me away.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ClhIsPTvFs Greg

Hey Terry Yup, I really like the first two Silver albums, the second maybe a little bit more. Many of the songs have a cool atmospheric vibe going on thanks partly to Andreas Bruhn ex Sisters of Mercy guitarist who wrote a lot of the material. Example: "Forever" from the second album just builds and builds with a great shared vocal from Aino Laos (this chick can really belt it out)

Enjoy MooseMan, Kickaxe really were a great band that flew under the radar. First album is a classc. I know the reissues of Vices and Welcome to the Club that were out on Sony in 2000 go for a pretty penny now. Helix useto sell their back catalog on PlanetHelix for reasonable rates as well.... Greg

Love old Mowtown. The Supremes, O'Jays, David Ruffin ect.....Anything that Holland-Dozier-Holland wrote back then just made ya feel great! Grew up on 70's pop music so bands like Edison Lighthouse, Gallery, Paperlace all had me boppin' when I was a kid and I still like a spin now and again.

The Satellites were a great band, and I agree with Russ "The Land Of Salvation And Sin" was their most complete album. If you like their first album and don't have Salvation and Sin I highly recommend it! Also Dan Baird's solo stuff carries right along the same path. Buffalo Nickel is the one that I play the most.....
