"They're" also working on a new album, the Calling is. I put they in quotes mainly because it's Alex Band + a few other guys. They're going by the name The Calling and I think their original guitarist isn't really in the music biz anymore so he has a whole new band, but it's under the Calling. From what Band has put out recently, this version of the Calling could produce some really gre

He is. He donates a lot of money to charities and not because it'll make him look good, but because he's the type of person who loves to help people. I hope he and Richie make amends sometime soon because Bon Jovi isn't Bon Jovi without Richie.

I get his frustration, it is annoying to see people with their phones out the entire show. Ill take a few pictures, but then I stop and enjoy the show. I can bet the guy who's phone was thrown, will sue him and the venue for damages. and Frampton says taking pictures is a result of "small dick syndrome," yeah, so people have that if they want a few pictures so they can have the memories

I agree. I like it, but it's just not really what I'd expect out of them. Still interested in the album though.

I agree. While I do think the joke will eventually get old, you can't deny the amount of people who show up for their shows, and you can't deny their musicianship. They're kicking every other rock band's butt in the USA, and even in Europe. can't deny that either.

Cheesy lyrics? Yes, cheesy video? Yes, but to me, it's a pretty catchy song and I like it.

If so, apparently she doesn't have a clue what she's getting into. Richie, so I hear, still has a LOT of substance abuse problems. That's one path I'd rather not see her go down, she's got all the talent in the world. It would be a shame to ruin the opportunities.

Frontiers has released a trailer for Work of Art's newest album "Framework" coming out in September. It's short, but sounds like we may have another excellent release from these Swedes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uN0z6XuLGNA&feature=youtu.be

You know, I'm about 8 hours from Chicago, but with the general admission prices being knocked down to 20 bucks, I may go now. See my dad can go and me and him make it a father son trip.

I'm not sure why, but I'm just not a fan when bands go back into their unfinished stuff and properly record it for an album. I guess maybe Van Halen's last one made me hate albums like that. I'd much rather have a band go in and write new stuff, that can be good, then go into their archives and properly record songs that weren't good enough to get on an album before. Just my personal opinion.

True. For me, it's not really so much production, cause honestly, I couldn't tell you if it's raw or not. But personally, I don't care about the production, I worry more about the songs and what not. The only time I noticed production being bad was on I think Steel Panther's Balls Out, the vocals were deep in the mix and it was hard to hear them.

The odd thing is, people like you will say you want a better produced sound, and don't like when bands and artists go raw, which I'm in the same boat, then you have others, who complain when it's "over-produced," then those same people will say another album is under-produced. They should make up their minds, do they want raw, under-produced, or over produced, polished album? If you hav

Played well enough to win though. Ghana played worse. We had 2 goals on 7 shots on goal. Ghana had 1 goal on 8 shots on goal. We had 8 shots overall, they had 21, 7 of 8 shots for us, the keeper had to make an attempt to make a save. only 1/3rd of Ghana's shots forced Tim Howard to make an attempt to save it. We didn't play great, but Ghana played worse. Donovan is a midfielder, he's not a great

Almost blew it this time too! If it weren't for Brooks, it would be another blown win. Now, get a point or 3 against Portugal, and we're in great shape!

That's true. If a team like Spain gives you the opportunity to embarrass them, you better do that. It may be one of those Cups where the defending champ doesn't get out of the group stage. Netherlands and Chile are is good shape as of now.

From watching that game, the Dutch did some really nice things, but personally from what I saw, it looked more like a lack of defense on Spain's part then an excellent attacking on the Dutch's part.

I'm glad this release has 20 songs. That's what I love about this band. They give you a heck of a deal. 10 bucks for 20 or so songs. Other bands, you pay 12 bucks for 11 songs. But yeah, I've only listened to the first 7 songs about 20 times, and personally, those 7 songs as a whole are better than Synergy. No offense to the band of course, although I did like a few on Synergy, this album is just

He also signed them to his label too. I'm not digging Kobra, but The Dead Daises I like. They've got a little blues southern rock thrown into their music.

What? I don't know about you, but I've never been to a rock show that says no cameras or videos allowed. I've been to a few that says no professional photograph, which would be any camera with a tripod or an extended lens, unless you have a press pass. So you saying tickets to each and every rock show that says that is null and void because it's not all of them. I don't know where you're from, bu

I like some Avantasia stuff, but to me, it's too much of an opera type thing. It just seems the songs are there and doesn't seem too much like there is any chorus' in them. I haven't heard all of Rocket Ride but I love Save Me. Excellent ballad, and I love Age of the Joker. It's the first new one that came out after I became a fan. but Ill listen to all of rocket ride.

I've listened to bits and pieces of Hellfire Club and Mandrake, and I liked them quite a bit. Not a big fan of Vain Glory Opera and Theatre of Salvation. Maybe I'm more of a fan of the newer sing-a-long Edguy songs lol.
