I agree with you. Romero is good, but to me, his voice is too raspy for my liking, but it's not unbearable. I like the song though.

oops, that's why. I was clicking on the 1650 yen one since it was the one that first showed up. Thanks! Holy Cheeseballs! I've tried to get into them for a few years, never could but WOW, this album sounds killer!

Yeah I searched some live videos and the ones I found weren't great quality, so I couldn't really tell, but I was about 85% sure they were completely overdubbed.

New Religion is my favorite. Ruff Justice is now #2 to me, the self titled last album is #3 and Riot Avenue is #4. There is a 3 times bigger gap between #3 and #4 than there is between #2 and #3 and #1 and #2 combined. All the albums outside Riot Avenue, to me, are very close in quality, especially New Religion and Ruff Justice.

Is it me, or are the vocals on this ripped directly from the studio albums? The Ghost of Graceland stuff sound EXACTLY the same on this as they did on the album, vocal wise at least. Seems to me, they cut out the vocals, and replaced them with studio vocals. Or, is the singer just THAT good at singing where it sounds exactly the same live as it does on the albums?

I have a year to save up for this one, I'm not going to miss out on an amazing festival of my favorite genre 6 hours away like I did the previous 2 times. Can't wait to see the lineup.

Oddly enough, I've seen more "respectful" concert goers at a bar in a college town known as a party college. The college kids drinking while watching the band, was actually tame compared to some adults at some shows. Did have a few guys spill their beers, but most of the time, it was someone elses' fault. Sad when college kids are more respectful than adults are at concerts.

I'm 26, so I grew up in the cell phone era, but I take maybe 4 or 5 pictures early in the show, then I put my phone back in my pocket. I wish people would go to enjoy the show instead of talk and take tons of pictures and recordings.

Was at a John Mellencamp concert a few years ago, and Carlene Carter, Johnny Cash and June Carter's daughter, was playing, and the entire 30 minute set these 2 women behind me were talking THE ENTIRE TIME. It wasn't a soft talk, it was loud talking where I could easily hear them over the music. Just cause you don't know the person playing, doesn't mean you have to be rude. Whispering something ev

I'd say HEAT Eclipse One Desire Treat Crazy Lixx Trixter If even 2 of those were at a MRF5, I'd go if it was in Chicago again.

Anyone heard these guys? I've been listening to them for the past few days on Spotify and they do some really good modern rock with a melodic sound to them. Here's their cover of "Renegade" by Styx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvEr6sQ2pms And their original song "My Addiction" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39qZoY9Vv-w

Totally agree. I love it. I visit a message board for Jovi fans and they're always critical of the newer stuff but most of them love it. Easily their best since Have a Nice Day, as you said. Even the bonus tracks are better than a lot of songs off What About Now and The Circle. I may even go as far as saying it's their best full album of material since Crush. But their best since at least Have

I see classic rock as anything before the 90s. I think opinions will vary based on age. I'm 26, but someone who is maybe 16, may consider Oasis classic rock since they're over 20 years old. I guess it depends on the person, but for me, I'd say anything before the 90s is classic to me.

Apparently Alex Band re-formed them a couple years ago minus the original guitarist, and supposedly were writing a new album, then they disappeared again after Alex was attacked after a show in Michigan and it's been quiet every since then.

I doubt that. The 3 songs they've released, are far better than most songs of Burning Bridges and What About Now, and miles better than anything Meatloaf has done lately. I'm thinking this is going to be a really good album. The live versions are enjoyable.

I didn't think it was too bad. Reminded me of Who Would You Die For from Burning Bridges. Lyrically, yeah, it's shallow, but out of the 3 released, I'm liking 2 of them. Knockout hasn't hit me yet, no pun intended. I appreciate their stuff now cause I'm not expecting a classic Jovi sounding album. I know a lot of people are and are disappointed when a song doesn't sound like that, and automatical

From Stryper's FB page "As many of you know, we are preparing a tour to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of To Hell With The Devil. Although we’re extremely excited about this tour, our band and ministry is facing a crossroads for a variety of reasons, including some personal matters affecting our bassist, Tim Gaines that have affected the unity of our band. As a result, upon the conc

Agree with Def Leppard. Not a big fan of On Through the Night either Disagree with Bon Jovi. The Circle did suck, but I thought there were some good songs on What About Now, and Lost Highway. Most of it sucked, spare for a few good songs. Stryper-Reborn. Love all their other albums, but dislike this one. Dislike all of Michael Sweet's earlier solo albums too outside the last two.

Anyone heard these guys' debut EP MMXVI? They mix melodic rock/AOR with Venetian Opera looks, you know, the masks, and what not, but the music is purely AOR/Melodic Rock. I thought "how silly of a look." But listening to the EP, it's really good. I believe their singer is the former singer of Pretty Wild. Check out the EP trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy4jQpcYpzE If yo

The beginning of it, reminds me a bit of Have a Nice Day. Good little solo. Lyrics are a bit cheesy, but good song. Hopefully we get songs like this, and We Don't Run.

I'm with you. I've liked 5 or 6 songs off each of their last few albums. This one, based on 15 seconds sounds good. Will wait until the whole song is out to judge it.

I'm the opposite. I didn't like What About Now, liked a few songs, and I have The Circle, listened to it a few times, haven't touched it in years. I'd be thrilled with a Have a Nice Day type album. Imagine a world where Def Leppard and Bon Jovi put out hard rocking albums in the same year.

they want to go out and do shows, and if he has to use tapes for a few songs to make sure they can go out in the future, so be it. They don't like cancelling shows. He doesn't lip all of it, I'm pretty sure of that. I'd rather him lip the last few songs, then to cancel shows and never play again cause his voice is shot.
