It seems they're sticking to mainly songs that Erik originally performed with them, other than 1000 miles, and Late Night Lady, which I don't have a problem with. Wasn't a big fan of the first two albums.

Vocally, at times, he sounds like a dead ringer for Jon Bon Jovi. Maybe Jon needs to get some songwriting tips from these guys and other writers who are writing and recording killer songs in the genre.

Is it me, or does anyone else hear a little Joe Elliot and some Jon Bon Jovi at times in this guy's voice? Great album.

Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty and John Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls didn't have too nasaly of voices, and both could sing. John's a little worse now from smoking but he still has a good set of pipes.

You would think. Granted, some of these power metal acts have been around longer, but in terms of success in Europe, bands like HEAT, Eclipse, Work of Art, have quite a bit more then Hammerfall, and Edguy. I'm just hoping for another Edguy USA tour.

Bands like Sonata Arctica, Edguy, Kamelot always seem to play in Louisville on their US tours and Louisville isn't a major market, but they always seem to draw large crowds. I don't know why Melodic rock artists don't try it. Is it a lack of support from the label, or lack of support from the promoter?

I like it. I'll have to listen to it a few more times to know for sure, but I like the positive vibes on this one compared to the dark theme on their first two albums

Don, as a Disciple fan, well a Disciple fan since the self-titled cd because I'm not a big fan of the super heavy screamy stuff they had before that. You can't go wrong with the Disciple, Scars Remain, Southern Hospitality, which is really southern rock influenced, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, O God Save us All and Attack are all excellent. Attack is by far their best in quite a while though.

As a big Disciple fan, this album is far better than their previous 2. Unbroken is a killer song. One of my favorites of theirs.

Did anyone see the guy in Perth who was the first to buy one, then drop it on live tv? I don't know if I should laugh, or, well I'm going to laugh. It's a bit ironic. Wait out for hours, then finally buy one, and ruin it, not to mention on live tv.

You're not the only one. I'd never catch myself camping out for something, at all. Maybe a live saving vaccine, but not a material possession.

The samples sound like a mix of "Loud Minority" and "New Religion." I'm loving the samples

If I'm not mistaken, they played a new Pop Medley last night for the first time. So it'll probably be later in the year. Hopefully Richie can give us a more specific time. Looking forward to a new medley cd and unplugged.

Steve I'm in the US and for amazon the shipping is next day, 2 day, or standard which is 3-5 days. Shipping for the 3-5 day is $3.98 which isn't high, but it makes a $12 cd cost about $16 after shipping and tax. Oddly enough, I have an amazon fulfillment center located about 35 minutes away from me. I've gotten a lot of things within 2 days of purchasing on amazon. At this point, if I can find

I've heard about the first 2 minutes of the first track. Not a big U2 fan, but that song is pretty decent.

That's what I was afraid of. Not like it matters, can't really get anywhere before release date anyways. This may get me to go out and find a store that has it. Cheers for the help!

Have any of you guys and gals ever pre-ordered a physical cd through amazon? If so, have you gotten it before release date, or does it usually come afterwards?

I don't think they're the best, but they're certainly not two times horr

I live in a small town in Southern Indiana in the US and my town doesn't have a station, but the two nearest to me are almost complete opposites. One plays "Today's hits, and yesterday's favorites." Mostly todays hit songs, and then hits from the past, such as Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls but they play some classic rock as well. The other station is a more modern rock station. Playing

"They're" also working on a new album, the Calling is. I put they in quotes mainly because it's Alex Band + a few other guys. They're going by the name The Calling and I think their original guitarist isn't really in the music biz anymore so he has a whole new band, but it's under the Calling. From what Band has put out recently, this version of the Calling could produce some really gre

He is. He donates a lot of money to charities and not because it'll make him look good, but because he's the type of person who loves to help people. I hope he and Richie make amends sometime soon because Bon Jovi isn't Bon Jovi without Richie.

I get his frustration, it is annoying to see people with their phones out the entire show. Ill take a few pictures, but then I stop and enjoy the show. I can bet the guy who's phone was thrown, will sue him and the venue for damages. and Frampton says taking pictures is a result of "small dick syndrome," yeah, so people have that if they want a few pictures so they can have the memories

I agree. While I do think the joke will eventually get old, you can't deny the amount of people who show up for their shows, and you can't deny their musicianship. They're kicking every other rock band's butt in the USA, and even in Europe. can't deny that either.

If so, apparently she doesn't have a clue what she's getting into. Richie, so I hear, still has a LOT of substance abuse problems. That's one path I'd rather not see her go down, she's got all the talent in the world. It would be a shame to ruin the opportunities.

Frontiers has released a trailer for Work of Art's newest album "Framework" coming out in September. It's short, but sounds like we may have another excellent release from these Swedes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uN0z6XuLGNA&feature=youtu.be
