Enjoyable cliche ridden film, but should have been better http://cool-stuff-you-will-like.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/big-hero-6-film-review.html

Loved the books and TV show as a kid, and the new film didn't let me down one little bit. Go and see it, it's wonderful. My review http://cool-stuff-you-will-like.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/paddington-film-review.html

He is finally making the music he loves, as opposed to trying to sell records by appeasing his fans. Shame it's shit. I was a massive fan of the music he hated making.

Understandably similar in tone to the other two, but plenty of big hooks, cool solos and awesome vocals (to me, anyway). Not going to change anyone's opinion if they aren't already a fan, but brilliant if ypu already are.,

Another fine album from Vega with plenty of ballsy sing along choruses as usual. First review is at www.rockunited.com Cheers

That's a great track. Sounds like a 70s track, all quirky, funny and with a crunch where needed.

Before this issue I had never heard of The All Sports Band - there's a great one page article on page 29. If you want to see what an attempt to do a 'Village People go AOR' was like in 1981, here's one of the tracks. It's passable, I suppose, bit ultimately forgettable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8BABFbEvkM

Gerry Laffy has certainly been around the block. From his early days with UK glamsters Girl (with future Leps guitarist Phil Collen) to his more recent and very impressive solo albums, he's been there, done that and ripped the t-shirt. What you may not know is that Gerry is also something of an artist, and he's been generous enough to give us a couple of original pieces to give away to you lot.

Well, after a listen through of it this morning (yeah, jammy sod) I can say that if you liked the other two you will definitely love this one. Personally, I think it's the best so far, with the Toto influences right to the fore, especially on "Hold On To Love".

I was sceptical until I saw them live, as kelly is simply amazing as a frontman and also has the range as well. Lou Gramm was a superb vocalist, but he can no longer handle it live, as evidenced by his performance in Las Vegas this year. This is just "Juke Box Hero" but all of the vids uploaded tell a similar, sad story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cF6-Xe6eEc

It's been quite a Marmite Movie - love it or hate it. I was genuinely bored by the storyline and annoyed by the plot holes. I have no problem with a character piece but want a better one.
