My Magnum Era was Chase The Dragon, Storytellers, Vigilante etc etc. As I said this isn't their 'best' album, but it is my favourite since 2002 when they came back with Brand New Morning. It was reviewed as a modern Magnum album, as I see this as two different sides of a coin. It's great to see that they have more recent fans who actually prefer the current style. I like to imagine them

They used to be more of a pure melodic rock band, although have never been heavy. Wonderful vocals and melodies and lovely people to boot. Were tipped for stardom when they teamed up with Mutt Lange for their debut, but it never happened. The first two are well worth checking out, as are the more recent ones. Got mine in WH Smiths yesterday. The packaging is fine, although I really would have liked lyrics somewhere. Best part is the magazine, with proper in depth interviews, like we used to get in the good old days! The album is pretty solid, no fillers and some sweet diversions from the standard rock stompers, although the stompers themselves all rock likoe mutherfuckers.

So Bryan is finally back with Jim Vallance, only to produce a 25 minute album that is nowhere near as good as we know they can be. Full review at: http://www.rockunited.com/

Catchy, poppy but with big guitars? Yep. The middle bit is a bit shite, but otherwise it lodged itself rigt into my brain, which means it worked!

It's very impressive that the band can release something of this intensity and quality. We'll not get another "aces high" or "Can I Play With MAdness" etc, but we are getting some powerful songs that stand up on their own with this album.

It has been acquired.... The book version has, well, a book which I assume is the lyrics etc,on Amazon it was only about a quid more so I though why not. There is a super expensive version but I didn't look at that

I wasn't exactly excited about this one, mainly because I thought "The Final Frontier" was quite repetitive and plodding. Well I have to say that this one is a real solid Maiden album, an hour and a half of decent songs through and through. People may moan about the 18 minute "Empire Of The Clouds", but it's a proper epic with decent structure that I feel will stand the tes

Steve Overland + Chris Ousey + Mike Slamer = a truly amazing, upbeat AOR masterpiece. Keep your eyes open for this next month, one of Escape's best releases and must for fans of either singer.

2 new songs, 2 average songs. This one has a bit of Oomph that was lacking from the Sunday Morning one, but in the ens it's the same old soul-less ball-less Bon Jovi we've gotten used to over the past twenty five years. If H.E.A.T had done this it would have been better. It's like he finally decided to try and write a decent somg again, but didn't quite get there. Yawn Jovi

Less of a fuck I could not give. Saw then on the Appetite tour, loved it. After that they got worse and Axl killed the band off in the end. This will be for nothing more than money and Axl will ruin it anyway.

Maybe he enjoys it. Maybe he likes the music he is doing. maybe plenty of others like it enough for him to keep doing it. A lot of cynics here...

the movie (only half an hour) is a perfect piss take of 80s direct to video action films.
