Great chat with a great man. We covered a LOT of ground but I'm tipping most people here will be interested in a 21 Guns update. Keep your ears and eyes peeled because there might be a bit of news on that front in the not-too-distant future. I'll post links to my chat when its online in the next few days to hear for yourself what Scott had to say on that front!

Really? The Radio Sun were spoken of quite regularly and quite highly around here when the album came out back in April 14 (I think). Rightfully so as they are a fantastic band and that album was excellent on all fronts. In fact a few of us who write for publications even included it in our Top Albums of 14 lists. Besides all that TRS have got A LOT of fans around these parts not only on the

Wow....2 members both leaving Megadeth and announcing it within hours of each other. I wonder if Dave Mustaine is working on getting Menza and Friedman back into the band given today's developments. http://chrisbroderick.com/blog/2014/11/25/i-am-leaving-megadeth http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/drummer-shawn-drover-quits-megadeth/

Just throwing this out there but does anyone else out there listen to podcasts? This last year ive been getting really into them to the point where yesterday was the first time i listened to the radio on the drive home from work in over a year. If there are any fellow podcast fans out there, throw some recommendations here for me to check out. Im listening to a lot of varied stuff so put it up an

Brad Paisley is a great guitarist. IMHO he run's rings around a lot of the players that are hero-worshipped around these parts. I'd love to see him and Keith Urban in a more rock oriented band as both are great songwriters amd monster guitarists.

For God's sake. Hot Sauce if it's THAT much of an issue for you why don’t you just fade away and go make your own site where you can put up album reviews the day the promos come out. Even better why wait for the promo? Maybe you should just hang around the studio while the album is being recorded and write a review on the spot...or even better maybe you should write the material with the art

Here's my rant on this topic..... Andrew is running everything on this site on his own with no help. Sure that may be his choice and who's to tell him it's right or wrong. I'm lucky in that I’ve been working in this industry for quite a while in terms of doing reviews / interviews / news / etc for the magazines and websites I contribute to. I can tell you that those sites that have review

The samples sound good and promising for now....but you just know that Mark SLaughter is going to ruin them once he starts "singing" over the top.

Evergrey, Threshold4, Pagan's Mind. That's my holy trinity in order. They are the three bands that have yet to release a bad album.

I've had this for a few months now for review / interview purposes and it hasn't left my cd player at all. Absolutely love this record. I thought HEAT was going to walk away with album of the year but this blows it away on all fronts.

Saw them a few weeks ago I Melbourne. Packed venue and 5 he band were beyond excellent. I also highly recommend people check them out as they are a phenomenal live band. Even buy their live bluray Universal if you can't see them playing live.

No...I LOVED Bon Jovi especially in that era and they were very good live but from memory the crowd loved Roxus. This is before their debut came out and they were building quite a huge fanbase here in Melbourne. Was a great gig by both bandsbut everyyone expected Jovi to be good but Roxus came out and tore the place down. Like I said, first time I have ever seen a support band came out for an

Roxus supporting Bon Jovi on the Slippery When Wet tour (I think). First and only time I've seen a support band come out and do a few encores because the crowd loved them so much. They also completely new Poison and Warrant off the stage when they toured too.

Wardy...is this the article you were talking about? I pretty much boycotted Apple products as much as I could a few years earlier, but after seeing this on the ABC about a year ago I decided I wouldnt spend one more cent on their shitty products despite how good their marketing team is (because lets face it, the only reason anyone really buys most Apple products is because they get sucked in

Basically i try and boycot anything Apple related as much as possible except for my trusty (soon to be obsolete) 160Gb classic iPod. All this iTunes talk and the fac that it has really been a bane of my existence the last few years I was wondering if anyone here has an alternative I can use to manage my music library and get rid of this god forsaken iCrap once and for all! Any help is much

Ive lived with new Evergrey album "Hymns For The Broken" for a few weeks now. Absolute masterpiece and my pick as album of the year so far. Some newer prog metal you might like to check out are new albums by Distorted Harmony (perfect mix of old / good Pain Of Salavation meets Pagans Mind meets Dream Theater) and a local Oz band from sydney called Hemina. New Threshold album is gr

Terrible news. He was one of the all time greats. Just such a huge shame he was so underated by people outside the melodic rock circles. RIP Jimi....thanks for many wonderful years of fantastic music and providing the soundtrack to many of our lives.....Vale Jimi Jamison.

It was the film clip for Resonate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30kTck4hCLI Of course if you really want to gross out your friend Schon style you could always send them the dick pic that Schon felt would be a good idea to share on the internet around the time of this video!

New album is fantastic. Classic Threshold and the perfect follow-up album to March of Progress. So far this and the new Evergrey album Hymns For the Broken are making up my top 3 for the year along with HEAT....just deciding if HEAT or Evergrey is going to be #1 tbh.

Xandria..... I picked up digi pack editions of both the latest Delain album (The Human Contradiction) and Xandria (Sacrificium) on the same day for a steal from a second-hand cd store.....what a great day I had there! Listening to both they are both fantastic bands and records but I'm liking the Xandria disc a ittle more by the smallest of margins. How these bands arent much bigger is be

Oh forgot to say thanks....that was a great question you came up with. THanks for dropping that in to me. I was expeciting him to say he was a one-man show now and after the experience with Kiss he'd happily do things on his own from now but when I asked him you could tell he was giving it serious consideration. I wouldnt be surprised if we see him doing something soon around that.

Had it for a few weeks now. Personally it's up there with his 78 solo album as the best thing he's done outside of Kiss. Fantastic album!

The topic has been buried further down the forum but for those interested, here's a link for the inter4view I did with Ace a few days ago. http://www.trendkillmagazine.com/august2014/#/12/ It will probably default to the front page of new edition for a few seconds but once it loads it should take you straight to the interview. Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
