LOVE the Treat album. My favorite album of the last 5 years easily. Every song is a gem and an instant classic.

Im a huge Seventh Wonder fan but to be honest I didn't think it was all that good. Not bad, but didn't blow me away either. Hopefully the rest of the album is better. Mercy Falls remains one of my favorite ever albums. Having said that I'll still blindly but this new record when it's out.

Unfortunately Wardy...you arent missing anything. I wihs you were as it's really hard to believe such a moronic attitude towards others based on where they live really exists in society (let alone on this noticeboard). Though I did chuckle when I am accused of not knowing anything about football....if only Matt knew who he really was talking to!

Oh what happened Matt...did the evil biting "racist" single handedly destroy your team in the worldy cuppy and cause an ouchy to their hopes of getting through the group stages? Yes I do watch it on TV and have been doing so in following Liverpool for over 35 years. Unfortunatley gettng to Anfield on a weekly basis is pretty hard from Melbourne, Australia.

I'm a HUGE Liverpool fan and loved seeing Suarez tear England to shreds this morning. DOnt forget a little over a month ago this is a guy who had knee surgery! Imagine he was fully fit with an uninterupted preparation. It's funny to see supporters of other clubs coming out this morning and saying Liverpool is rubbish based on that performance beause half the players on the pitch were from ANfi

An obvious one that springs to mind is Michael Jackson. He had a habit of working with the best guitarists at the time and everyone remembers EVH on "Beat It" but people may forget two of his more rocking tracks that were excellent. Dirty Diana (feat. Steve Stevens) Give In To Me (feat. Slash)

Oh that was painful. I agree that Bobby isnt looking in the best of shape right now but compared to Tommy D he looks like an Olympian. Still, the man is 67 years old and has what...20 years on Tommy? Dont mean to start any fires on here but I really hope Tommy does something about his health sooner or later because he does not look like a well man at all in that clip. It isnt anything to do wi

Yeah...Im with Andrew here. Icehouse are about as New Wave as Duran Duran is hard rock because of a few guitar solos. Great band though. Been listening to Icehouse a lot lately and rediscovering how great they actually are.

Picked up an advance copy of this last night and 3 spins through I'm really liking what they have come up with. I'm tipping quite a few people here are going to be pleasantly surprised when they hear this. It's a great mix of power pop & melodic rock with huge hooks and chorus' but the thing that really set it apart for me are those awesome harmonies throughout the record.Great musicianship a

Yep....seen them 3 times. Great live band! Also interviewed one of the "nameless ghouls" and later found out it was actually the singer in a different costume. Really fun chat and real funny guy. Check them out live....you'll love it.

Great album. I've had it for quite a while now to review. Personally I think Vain Glory Opera, Theater of Salvation, Mandrake, and Hellfire CLub are their best albums which I dont see them ever topping....but this one is right behind them in my opinion.

Herald Sun here in Melbourne is reporting that ACDC could be about to retire due to health concerns with a band member. I really hope this is not true but i heard it a few weeks ago and now it's getting picked up by some pretty credible sources also reporting the same. The story as i have heard is that they got together to rehearse for their 40th anniversary tour and Malcolm Young has fo

Cant say we didnt see this one coming. Made no sense to have RH on at mid-week, in a venue thats hard to get to depending on where you live, right after festival season. A little more due dilligence should have been done in this case. Disappoinitng as it would have been a good show. I wonder how it was selling in terms of payers anyway?

Does anyone know who the actual musicians on the upcoming Live in Poland dvd are? I'm trying to find info about who played on it but not much luck so far. Either way I'll be a first day buyer. I think Im one of the weird breed that actually preferred the Joseph Williams era of the band to the Kimball era.

Ive got a copy of the new album for reviewing. Can honestly say I havent enjoyed an Edguy album this much since Rocket Ride. It's a little heavier than what they have dished up on the last few albums and whilst the hard rock element is still intact there is also a definite shift back to their heavier style from the Mandrake / Hellfire Club discs. If you like Edguy, you ae going to love this ne
