I use Spotify alot so I buy 1-2 albums a month. I made a playlist in Spotify with songs from album dating 2-3 years back, many of them from Frontiers. What came to mind was that the sound so similar in sound, pace and structure. Good songs bur not much originality.

14 years old I went to see Gary Moore at the Run for cover-tour 1985. Standing in the front row jumping and screaming. That intro from Run for cover and then a big explosion! Feeling the heatwave pressing the face! Gary Moore-Sucker since then.

Love these two releses, especially Frederiksen. BUT! Why dont they write more of their songs them selfes? Old demos and the same songwriters that are on every other Frontiers release.

How come Bon Jovi sell out the arenas and Journey (plus Foreigner) just sells out smaller venues for like 2000 people? Both have sold millions and millions of records and have had big hits on the radio/charts. Maybe its obvious to some of you, it isnt to me.

My take on this combo is that Foreigner was way better than Journey. The biggest difference was the frontman. Kelly Hansen is a great frontman that gets the crowd going, and he works great with the rest of the band, while Arnel is a great singer but just doesnt reach the audience. He really doesnt fit in with the rest of the band. Loved both shows but Foreigner was the highlight for me, even t
