I don't necessarily dislike this release. I would enjoy each song much better with the chosen vocalist if they were just allowed to sing the damn song. It sounds like there is so much restraint in the delivery of the vocals and the choruses just sound lackluster and boring because of it. (to my ears) Even listening to the Corporate America rehashes, they at least had a chorus that sounds

Love Europe but this always bothered the heck out of me. Ken Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > As a side note, I think Joey Tempest sets the > all-time record for oooh's, aaah's, uuuhs and > heeey-yeah's in one recorded rock album.

Just ran across these guys on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoDTJe5Cg6M That led me to purchasing their cd of unreleased stuff "Strange World" and then a couple of solo releases by their singer, David Saylor. Still listening through but liking what I am hearing so far. Great melodic tunes full of what I like my music to be. Apparently he took over vocals for the

"A Man I'll Never Be" That is my "go to" song when I really want to hear a heartfelt strong vocal harmony from Brad Delp. One of the best.

Did Starship ever make a promo music video for "I Didn't Mean To Stay All Night?" If so, does anyone have an active link or download that I can get from them. Thanks.

I'm behind you on this, Rux. I am a fan of the entire Phenomena catalog (whether it is the Spence or the Galley projects) and they all provide something for me to enjoy. I saw this and all I can hope for is video to pop up online. Sweden is waaaaaay out of my range.

I like it. It has a different vibe from the first so I am not comparing but just taking it as it is. There are some definite sing-along anthems that I screech to as I drive to work and back. And I admit there are a couple that I will skip if I am in a different mood. Overall a 90% for me. I do have a question though... If they had stayed with Frontiers, would Serafino have pushed for

Pre-Ordered from Amazon.com here in the States and received it yesterday. Great collection of songs...not the usual stuff you might think. Finally able to hear Keys to the City. Super awesome and the new track is really hitting my happy button.

No particular order (tough choice but these always get my full attention): The Wall Don't Open Your Eyes Mainstream/Incident On A Bridge (couldn't choose between the two) Preacher/Rainmaker (couldn't choose between the two)

This looks to be an awesome compilation (but they all have been). Will definitely be ordering this and the #10.

Overall I have liked what I am hearing. My complaint is that there just isn't enough of a strong guitar presence on some of the cuts that could have pushed the record to the top for me. I think that the vibe on some of these songs is too ICON and not enough ASIA. The Wetton/Downes project was always said to be a different animal than Asia but the lines have become a little too blurred. It is

I remember picking this up on cd and not really knowing the band that well. The music just hit every right note with me. I still grab it and play it on my drive to and from work quite often. Definitely could use a remaster...agreed!

Back in May, I contacted Ric via Facebook and asked him just that question. Here was his response. "How are you? As of recently, I have had the ARRIVAL project on the back burner because of my more pressing work with some other artists. You can hear a lot of those songs right here on Facebook at my "Fan Page"/Band Profile link." I did make it clear that there were int

I would definitely sign up for a limited cd. I love cd booklets and love to read all the details (especially if they add stories/anectdotes behind each song) So, a yes from me!

I have really enjoyed the samples that I have heard of the new one. As I told JV, they really are above and beyond what the debut was. They are regularly in my music rotation while I am at work...and those are really only snippets. The full cd chould be a whole blast of awesome. And I am not embarrassed to say that I wet myself a little when the artwork popped up on the front page. Oh my!!

I am pretty sure that on my version of the cd it states in the liner notes that the cutoff is intentional.
