I think the sound issue occurred during the import to itunes. I deleted it and reloaded it and haven't noticed it since. Two other notes: track 1. "Vulture" is listed as "Vulture Culture" on car disc player. 2. disc 2 tracks are sequenced alphabetically.

Listened through a few times now, I think the first disc is the stronger of the two. I read online the first disc was more recently recorded, with disc two around three years old. "Vulture" has a definite Souls feel along with "Ghost". Fantastic solo on "Power And Resistance". "World On Fire" on the second disc is a monster, KXMish. Overall it's a lot to di

On the Candlebox front, guitarist Peter Klett and drummer Scott Mercado have left the band. Klett has two other bands Lotus Crush and Apollo Under Fire so I guess he sided with those. Mercado was also in Lotus Crush but has since left that band. Dave Krusen is the current touring drummer. Mike Leslie and Brian Quinn have also joined the band on guitar. I think Sean Hennesy is also still in

Got the cd's in the mail yesterday and think it might have a sound issue. Most of the tracks sound a little "muddy" or have a weird distortion, most noticeable on "Trail Of Tears" on the drum beats. I downloaded "Vulture" and "Trail..." From iTunes and didn't notice it on those tracks. Played it through several pairs of headphones, iPhone and stereo and the

Absolutely and Ipso Facto, after that the albums became more introspective and mellow and then jazzy. Unless that's your thing.

Just finished listening to Schenker's Spirit On A Mission, and while some of the songs are more of the same, there are several standout tracks. I was really impressed with the production and vocals. I know Doogie White has been around for awhile, but I'm late to the party. I've missed the last couple Schenker albums. I'm just looking for some recommendations on other Doogie albums to check out.

Like the tune, but it's the same riff as Danger Danger's "That's What I'm Talking About." https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PvbABS7ESp8

[4/30/2015 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE] LEGENDARY METAL CHURCH SINGER MIKE HOWE RETURNS TO THE BAND! Legendary front-man Mike Howe returns to Metal Church! In the summer of 2014 the band suddenly found themselves in need of a new singer. As fate would have it, Kurdt was already in talks with Mike for another project that he was working on with Saxon drummer Nigel Glockler, so he decided to ask Mik

"My City" is also a great track. Thanks for the info, I have most of the demos, I just wish the band would release better quality versions. Especially if there isn't going to be any new material. One of my favorites.

"Millionairhead" is when he was in a band called "Cut" it's a little heavier than his later solo stuff. "Unfulfillment" is w/ his band Stiltskin and is similar to "She", but a little lighter and "Chasing Rainbows" is his last solo album, and a little mellow for my taste, but excellent songwriting. It's a great deal for that price and the discs are

They have about 10 shows scheduled in the US. I'll be seeing them in April, haven't seen Norum live since the Dokken tour. War Of Kings is a great album. That riff in "Days Of Rock And Roll" makes me smile every time.

After several listens of each, I think Europe is the strongest of these releases. WOK, Second Day, Days Of Rock And Roll, all strong. I was really looking forward to the UFO, but the songs just aren't there, the production is excellent as previously mentioned, and Vinnie Moore has some great solos, but other than Messiah of Love, not that memorable. The Scorpions is at 19 tracks a lot of watered
