Hadn't heard any info about remixes, I did have the following question from a previous post... Anyone heard the track "Big Rocks" off of the import version? Lynch said in an interview it was a last minute addition and inspired by the King's X Dogman disc. Looking forward to hearing it. Thanks And, has anyone actually seen the Japanese version of the "Kill All Control" L

I agree with Scott, the originals on the T&N disc sound like a continuation of the Lynch/Pilson, Wicked Underground album... I could do without the re-records with different vocalists(I think the plan was for a double cd, later stretched to two separate discs) The KXM is a magnificent album, as is (and opinions will vary) Lynch's Souls Of We project from a few years back, and his more recent

Amazing musicianship, powerful lyrical content, close to "perfect" on many levels...early favorites, "Stars, Gun Fight, Faith..., Human Friction and Tranquilize". The Japanese version has the bonus track "Big Rocks" and is released on the 26th. (According to CDJapan) looking forward to hearing that track too.

The clinics are a good time. Lynch usually plays along to and solos over several "backing tracks" from newer or sometimes yet to be released material, once in a while he has a few of the "musicians" from the clinic host site jam with him. There are question and answer sessions between the songs and he often stays to "sign" things afterwards. The only thing that alwa

Greetings: As the red tape and middlemen begin to cloud the future, I'd like the freedom to experiment with a few idea's via this message board... I know there is no shortage of opinions herein... Today's idea will be...how does a wall of sound(guitar driven) affect the overall impact of a song? examples: "Asia Minor" Ric Ocasek from the album Troublizing "I

I've been an on again/off again fan since "No Exit". I'm planning on seeing them live in November. Some of the band's melodies sound repetitive or ocassionally reused, but the vocals and lyrics usually make up for it. That's the "sound" they have developed and I'm a fan...

Sometimes an artist might have trouble getting the music he or she hears in their head and heart into your ears. They have to work "through" a producer, a studio, a mix, etc. A lot happened within the band prior to the release of the "Vapor Trails" album. I'm just thankful they continue to record and release music. If someone's wife/girfriend/daughter takes the tim

Thanks for the reminder. That really is the the most powerful, heartfelt, emotional album that they have ever released. The band reuniting and recording again after not knowing if they would ever be a "band" again. I've listened to it for years, despite the mix. It'll be nice to hear the sonic quality closer to what the band had envisioned.

Ok, looks like telegraph is the clear winner. At the moment I'm thinking about a website with the multi- part interviews posted in edited form, updated weekly. With perhaps a physical book containing the complete interviews and some sort of downloadable bonus track content in the future. Thanks for all the suggestions. Jason

I'm currently working on a project that has been a dream of mine for several years and wanted to get an idea of how board members prefer to recieve their information... Given the opportunity to read in-depth, lengthy interviews with some of your favorite musicians from the 80's and 90's would you rather have: a book, a website, a blog, a magazine subscription or some combination? Than

The remixed version will be released Oct. 1 according to the band's website. Always been a favorite of mine...old mix, new mix...just great songs played with more passion and emotion than usual from the band.

Thanks for the information. It's nice to read a statement directly from the "artist" without going through the publicity spin machine. I've enjoyed your work since "Misspent Youth" and like what you did with TNT. Wish you all the best in the future...

The band is back with a new album. I forgot how much I liked them. The new album is amazing...Couldn't find a youtube clip yet, but find and listen to "Under Your Skin", great groove, great riff, great vocals, great lyrics = great song. That's how you write a rock tune...

That's a great live show, the TMG disc is a favorite of mine. If I remember correctly it's a Region 2 disc and won't play on standard U.S. players. It was also big $$$. I found most of the video on YouTube, by looking up song title. Amazon has it listed as unavailable, but you can see the specs. and cover art. I tried to track it down a few years ago...

I like the album also, it should have been released as a Tate solo album. It has quite a few good tracks, more than Kings and Thieves. I'll pick up the "other" Queensryche Tuesday, but from the tracks I've heard I'm not that excited about it. I think both groups should drop the Queensryche name, and continue as Tate solo and Rising West. Neither band is really the Queensryche of old.

I think Realized Fantasies was delayed by quite a few months, and the album artwork and title changed from the original "Purple Mountains Majesty", this slowed the momentum the band was building. I also remember an article in Metal Edge magazine, were Tony Harnell said if this album didn't break them big, they should all go back to painting houses or something like that...Always loved t

Sweet was supposed to tour as vocalist for Tooth And Nail(T&N) in the fall, I guess now they formed a band. I'm a Lynch fan since 86, but he's spreading himself a little thin. He's gonna have like 6 projects this year. Then again too much Lynch is never a bad thing...
