I'm sure they took one live take and edited all of the video to it. Because the keys are piped in, there's most likely a click track so everything stayed in sync. Kris

Even if Dave's vocals were great, he looks like an idiot. WTF is he doing during the solo? I thought what he did in the 70's was entertaining, but this is just embarrassing. I know the Sam vs. Dave thing is talked about constantly, but seriously, what I'm looking for is a frontman to sing the songs (well!), interact with the crowd, and be a PART of the band. This looks like a band in fine form

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6RaoMXV87Q Dear God this is just IMO so bad. The band is fine, but Roth isn't even entertaining. Painful to watch, and hear... Kris

Not sure where you're located, but I got my initial education at the Institute of a Audio Research in NYC. That gave me a solid foundation, but much of what I learned was in the field. Kris

Off topic, but speaking of female vocals on Ten albums, I'm pretty sure Vinny told me that the female voice at the end of Name of the Rose is actually Gary pitch-shifted. Little trivia for ya'! Kris

I'm personally VERY impressed with this album! Great songwriting, solid playing and a really nice mix. I loved Tony's work with Danny Vaughn, but I wasn't expecting this at all. Strong all around effort, I hope these guys are here to stay! Kris

Understood Peter, I hear what you're saying. Being a long time SH fan, I'm admittedly biased. On his latest tour he did an acoustic set, so I just like this followup to that. The recording is pretty raw, agreed. Kris

I actually disagree. One thing we've rarely heard from Sammy is any solo acoustic material. I really like this album and the reworked versions of some of his tracks. Kris

I took a shot. I thought perhaps the Tommy Aldridge connection might have brought things together.

Just posted on FB about a big announcement coming up. I said a few days ago that maybe he and Coverdale will team up. With Aldrich in the band, it makes even more sense. I may be way off base, but my guess is that PT is the new guy in WS! Kris

I'll toss in a couple of options. Brian Tichy- he played drums for WS, but is also a great guitarist! Pat Travers Bruce Kulick Lanny Cordola

Dave is still with the Wabos, but this band Sammy assembled to cover all aspects of his career. Mike from VH, Vic from the Wabos, and Jason because of his Zep connection, which was a big influence on Sam. They played 4 Led Zep songs on this last gig. I have to think that again, Hughes wants Jason to commit full time, like he did with Joe, and that's just not going to happen. BCC and CB aren't

I just saw Jason with Sammy last week, and not only was he killing it, he looked like he was just having a great time. The whole show was excellent, I don't know how Hagar does what he does at nearly 67! Kris
