I'm an audio engineer, and I think he's superb. Totally agree Shaun, he's old school and gets that type of sound from his bands. I think much of what he's produced and engineered breathes, allows more room for varied dynamics. I'm a fan! Kris

I'm one of "those" guys who jumped on BCC because Joe was involved. I'm not a big fan of Glenn's voice, or his ego, so I'll most likely pass on this. BCC was interesting, but for me personally it was Joe's playing that was the draw. Kris

Lifelong Steelers fan here, but I'm a big fan of Peyton, he's brilliant at reading defenses and changing things up. I say Denver 31-17. Kris

I'm digging what I'm hearing as well. Not only a great vocalist in Tommy, but Mike has a cool voice as well and should add some great backing vox. Kris

No one is going to replace Brad, he was unique and ridiculously talented. Boston could do what Journey did when they brought in a Perry clone, basically becoming a tribute/nostalgia band. They had a chance to move in a new direction with JSS, who could sing the old stuff, in his own style, and create a new era for the band. Think Van Hagar. I think that's what Boston should do. For some reason I

Did I miss something? I thought Chuck Wright was playing bass, as well as being a pretty significant contributor to the songwriting? Kris

It would be great for us U.S. fans if it were possible to bring over one act from the UK. My first vote would be for Dare. Also, and probably a long shot, but fans have been hoping for a Pride reunion for a long time, and it just so happens that half of that band live in Chicago now. Kris

I was going to say just the opposite. I think Mangini is tasteful while being technically brilliant. I never dug Portnoy. Also technically great, but busy at the wrong times for my taste. Kris

Vinny told me that they were happy with that album, and it was what they wanted to do, no pressure from the record company. Hmm. I know that they rotate Chains in and out of their set list. Kris

Both Sammy Hagar and Danny Vaughn are beyond amazing. With the energy they put out, I don't know how they're voices remain so strong. Kris

Just so sad. I talked to him a few times on Facebook and he seemed like a great guy. I discovered his music with Lift Off, and that's still my favorite work of his. Damn, hard to believe...

I'm in agreement Terry. Love this band to death. Do they have a Zep vibe? Yes they do, but that isn't a bad thing in my book. I think they inject enough of their own thing into their music to make themselves quite unique. I'll keep flying the flag... Kris
