Lung cancer is a beast. My mom was diagnosed twice with pneumonia in 2010. The next year she went in for some routine surgery and completely by accident they discovered that she had stage 4 NSCLC. She battled for a year and a half before it took her. She never smoked, was an athlete, physical education director, avid outdoors adventurer all her life, so this really snuck up with no warning. I

Right on the money Terry, Hagar made several overtures.

First one's that quickly came to mind, only because I've just listened to them: The Boys Are Back In Town- Thin Lizzy Heaven Tonight- Waysted Does It Feel Like Love- In Faith

Exactly why I respect Hagar, he seems always up front and honest, even about some of his own antics. He was no angel, but I just genuinely like the guy!

There's no way in hell Sam would go back without Mike, it won't happen. I think it's more important to Sammy for Mike to get back in than himself. Truly this would be a good resolution for all involved. I'm a big SH and Van Hagar fan, so I'm biased, but I hope this happens. Kris

I wish them luck, I love Pete's voice, but Tony was a huge part of the In Faith songwriting. I was really hoping that band would stick it out.

Here's my take. I've spent a good deal of time in the field and the studio. Back in the day we recorded, mixed and mastered for one listener... the guy with a high-end sound system. If you wanted to listen to vinyl on your Sears close-and-play turntable, or your little cassette boombox, that's fine, but it was going to sound like crap. We knew it, you knew it. If you wanted to hear great producti

15. Philo
Geldof nor Ure even bothered to ask Phil if he wanted to rock Live Aid and although rumors had buzzed for weeks at a possible Thin Lizzy reunion none of the boys were asked to perform. Geldof at first said that Phil wasn’t that big anymore and then backtracked years later to wondering why they never asked Thin Lizzy to perform at Live Aid to even going as far as claiming that he wished Phil was

I thought it was a great album. I hope that Tony puts a new band together and gets to play these songs live.

It kind of comes across like Tony burned some bridges once again. Too bad as the In Faith album was great!

I'm sure they took one live take and edited all of the video to it. Because the keys are piped in, there's most likely a click track so everything stayed in sync. Kris

Even if Dave's vocals were great, he looks like an idiot. WTF is he doing during the solo? I thought what he did in the 70's was entertaining, but this is just embarrassing. I know the Sam vs. Dave thing is talked about constantly, but seriously, what I'm looking for is a frontman to sing the songs (well!), interact with the crowd, and be a PART of the band. This looks like a band in fine form

Not sure where you're located, but I got my initial education at the Institute of a Audio Research in NYC. That gave me a solid foundation, but much of what I learned was in the field. Kris
