Agreed man, both bands were excellent. Sam sounds fresh and rested. I just love how much those guys enjoy what they're doing together, it feels genuine.

Sammy and the Circle absolutely kicked ass last night. It’s early in the tour, and his voice was amazingly strong. He was nailing all the high notes. The new tracks were great live too. Seeing them again Tuesday in Boston and Thursday at Foxwoods. Night Ranger were great too, I had never caught them live.

Instead of an entire show, I can see this being used as a tribute. For instance during a Thin Lizzy show, having a hologram of Phil walk out, strike a classic pose, then sort of fade out. Just something to highlight where the band came from and to say thanks.

I met Huey by chance in I think 1982 in Greenwich Village. He was recording at Electric Ladyland and we were both at Ray's Pizza in the Village. He was really cool, I held his pizza while he signed an autograph for me!

The thing is, he basically built his brand by himself. Blues isn't exactly a big money maker, yet he stuck to his roots, toured his ass off, and smartly marketed himself. And he's far from overrated, one of the finest at his craft I've ever heard.

Noise Floor is such a good album. I know that I'm deep in the minority, but I think the Ted Leonard era is my favorite. But I'm a huge Enchant fan, so it was an easy win for Ted! Kris

Really glad you were able to make this happen Andrew. Brett was such an amazing musician. I think I discovered him right here when Lift Off was released.
