I'm sure I'll take a beating for this, but I actually kinda like this album. I was never a die-hard QR fan, and never listened to anything after Empire. That said, as eccentric as Tate has become, I think this may be a step in the right direction for him. I'll add that I'm also digging what Todd is doing with QR v.2. Kris

I'm sure that Frontiers and Andrew will post something official, but since the cat is out of the bag on Facebook, I thought I'd mention it here. https://www.facebook.com/threelionsuk 3 Lions is the sensational eponymously titled debut album from this new British 3 piece rock band. The band consists of Vinny Burns (Dare, Ten, Asia) on guitar, Greg Morgan (Dare, Ten) on drums and introduces N

Love Bonamassa's varied tones, and unlike many here I think Kevin Shirley does a masterful job on his albums. Kris

Well Glenn does come off as an ass with a lot of his comments. Maybe Joe isn't completely innocent in this situation, but GH is the one whining about this situation, while Bonamassa is out making music. And to respond to your other post, while Glenn has had a great career, he hasn't done much to build upon that in awhile. Joe is in the prime of his career, his fan base is huge, and I would gu

Joe has worked his ass off since he was a kid, building up his skills, his name. He's really brought the blues back to the forefront, and he's done it very respectfully by recognizing the roots of that genre. He's also stayed pretty true to blues/rock and been successful at it, a very daunting task unless you have the proper skills, both musically and as a business person. I have a ton of respect

You're beyond delusional. Bonamassa has an enormous fan base. The 17 fans that jumped on board because of Sherinian, Bonham and Hughes can thank JB for bringing BCC the recognition that they got. Cult Yank guitarist? You've got to be kidding!! Kris

Couldn't agree more Laurent. Joe is the draw for most fans of this band. Joe's also a pretty savvy business man, so I'm curious to hear his side of this. Glenn's grasping at straws trying to keep himself relevant. I never got the guy, never cared for his voice. As far as I'm concerned this gives JB more time to focus on his own thing, which for me personally is a good thing. Kris

Phil Lynott for me was such a great lyricist. Today, I really enjoy how Danny Vaughn writes. Seems to really speak from the heart, and he blends in the right amount of metaphor and storytelling. Great stuff! Kris

One of my favorite albums ever. I saw them on that tour too, walked out on Maiden's set. Chapman was so good on that tour! Kris

For Christ's sake, it's a band showcasing a song! Ged financed it himself, it's not like they're rolling in money. I heard less bitching about the last Van Halen vid, a band that certainly has an open-ended budget, and that video was absolute shit. Kris

Well, I understand that it's not big budget, but for me it serves the purpose of giving me a look at the performers and a preview of the album. Really looking forward to this one! Kris

And a new album by end of year. I just don't know how this will work, as Vinny, Richard Dews, and Darren't son Parris, also a guitar player, are involved. Kris

I actually respect the hell out of him for this: MY DEPARTURE FROM WHITESNAKE: My decision to leave Whitesnake has already been announced by David Coverdale but I wanted to at least give a bit of my own explanation and be clear on why this decision was made because it is a simple yet heavy one; heavy cuz it involves jumping off a cliff while you were seemingly and supposedly fine on so

Joe has built his brand with a lot of hard work, in a time when selling albums, especially blues albums, can't be easy at all. Glenn is in the twilight of his career, and I think that JB's name is what's carrying BCC.Thin-skinned or not, Glenn should tread lightly and be thankful that Joe has the time to work this project into his schedule. Joe doesn't NEED BCC, nor do Derek and Jason, but I thin

I'd like to see another From the Inside project. The first was great, the second I wasn't as fond of. I don't think Jimi Bell gelled that well with Danny Vaughn. I also liked that similar project with Mickey Thomas. Kris

I'm going to go way out on a limb here and say that Tate and company are going to put out something special. I know that GT isn't what he used to be vocally, but I'm thinking that both sides have been held back by each other, and now that they're apart both will do well, regardless of which side retains the name. It must be difficult being a singer. Your vocal chords age... You can't restring

Well, other than the few of us here, who buys BCC albums? Jason Bonham is a good drummer, but his personal fan base can't be that big. Same with Derek. Glenn Hughes certainly has had a good career, but he's toward the end of it, and I doubt his solo albums sell a ton. Joe B. is still peaking, he has a huge following, and my guess is that most who bought the BCC cd's and DVD were Bonamassa fans wh
