If anyone is interested in knowing how Gary Hughes gets inspired to write the songs, well, now you can, since every week, Gary "In his own words" will take you right into his mind and explain a song from an album across his career. http://www.tenofficial.com/#!in-my-own-words/c1bof

Hello Mark, There are still tickets left for the gig. Please, visit the band's official site at www.tenofficial.com - it's the very first post on the news page. The night before the band will also be doing a free acoustic gig at a nearby venue. See you there!

I'm not expecting much from it. The last good Deep Purple album was Purpendicular. Let's see how this one will be..

Impressed that you've heard of George. Indeed his previous one was great, haven't listened to his new one yet. Regarding the production, it is Kip Winger. As far as I know they're good friends. Gotta say here, that George is very well known here in Greece - he was also the one who brought the Scorpions over here for the first time, back in the early 90's.

The real problem arises when you're supposed to play songs from such promos on the radio. Has happened to me once or twice and seriously I dropped the band from my show till I bought the CD myself.

Can't disagree JD. But they could very well do the shows without her since they had to do them and not just give her the boot and carry on without her. It's obvious that there are deeper reasons for that decision and definitely it has to do with the fact that Anette has never been what any fan (like me) would call a Tarja replacement. Completely other style. Still, I gotta say I really liked &quo

I think she was right though. They could easily have cancelled the show.

Could definitely see that happening unfortunately.. Now for the substitute, if I'd have to choose one, I'd go with Sabine from Edenbridge now. Could see her fronting Nightwish..
